The entire trio was so well organised. Siddique is very friendly and accommodating. Very punctual, arrived 15 mins early and waited. Guided us to the right spots to see amidst our packed schedule. We had 2 kids in the car and he took us to an exclusive ice cream place too.
We had such a great time on our tour. Our comfort and enjoyment was the most important thing throughout the day to our driver. He started with “what do you want to see” and checked in with each of us constantly. We saw so many places we didn’t even know to ask for as well as iconic shrines, and modern Tokyo. He was able to fit our requests into a smooth itinerary with his own suggestions. We got lots of great pictures and he was right there to take family photos and suggest where we should stand to get the best shot. He was very knowledgeable and personable. We will definitely be calling him for our next Tokyo trip!
Efficient way to see bustling Tokyo! Riki our driver spoke excellent English (and is proficient in several more!). Tour gives ideas for itinerary, but you are welcome to add more suggestions within your ample time frame. We were shown Cherry Blossom Gardens as well as shrines, fish market, shopping areas and the Towers. Big plus besides Riki’s safe and smooth driving is we could be dropped off at Yokohama Harbor for an additional fare. Recommend this company for communications and punctuality!
This was the perfect start to our visit to Japan! Yuki was amazing! Very knowledgeable, patient, & accommodating! He had a basic tour idea in mind, but immediately asked for our preferences, likes, dislikes, etc. to better plan. This personalized our tour and made it so much more fun! He also provided tips, restaurant ideas, and a willingness to answer further questions after our time with him. We loved our tour day with Yuki!
This was a fantastic day from the excellent pre planning and ideas of how to personalise the day to the actual day.
Noriko Sakurai Our tour guide arrived early and was full and f knowledge, helpful and a great guide making the day so interesting.
We visited many places as well as stopping for drinks and lunch and learning how to navigate public transport.
I highly recommend the tour and if you are lucky you also get this truly great guide.
Thank you 🙏🏻
Brilliant half Day Private tour customized to see the beautiful Cherry Blossoms in Tokyo
Our half day private tour with a Government Licenced guide was absolutely brilliant. Miho checked our ideas before the tour and created an itinerary to fit. Miho then adapted this tour as we went to match our needs. We saw a multitude of beautiful Cherry Blossons on the last half day in Japan. Miho helped us achieve our desire to see as many incredible Cherry Blossoms as was possible. She helped us at the end of the tour navigate our way back to our hotel with clear and decise directions on the public transport system. We thoroughly recommend this tour and Miho Ozawa as a guide.
You can tailor the tour to your requirements so it's a good idea to think about what you want to see. You'll do a lot of steps! We were lucky enough to have Lookman as our driver. He was excellent. Even when he couldn't wait where he dropped us off to see something, he messaged his location to make it easy to find him. Thanks Lookman!
Tadashi is as a wonderful guide. This tour was very tailored to us and tho thoughtfully curated. Tadashi’s English was excellent, and he was very knowledgable ex-teacher. He also engaged our teenagers. The van was very comfortable. This tour made our trip to Tokyo.
We were picked up on time by Alam, our driver, in an extremely luxurious vehicle with more than enough space for all our luggage. He had to drive us from Tokyo to Mt Fuji, which he did well - we commented on his safe and relaxing driving. This was not a tour, so he didn’t say much, but this was expected as it was simply for transportation. He did take us to the sites we needed to see and was always waiting for us when we had finished looking around in our own time. All in all, we were more than satisfied.
Jonny was a FANTASTIC tour guide. He was knowledgeable, personal and has great energy. He was also very helpful and went above and beyond our expectations, He helped us with our tickets on the bullet train and found us a great restaurant after the tour.
As first time visitors to Tokyo I could not imagine a better way to experience the city than this private tour. Our guide Jason was knowledgeable, engaging, and attentive to our needs and wishes throughout the day. His commentary as he drove and at each stop throughout the day made for a memorable and culturally enriching day.
Perfect Mt. Fuji & Kawaguchiko Day with Masae and Toshi
Our private car tour to Mt. Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko with Masae (guide) and Toshi (driver) was absolutely fantastic. From the very beginning, Masae’s communication stood out—she carefully tailored the itinerary around our interests and even factored in the unique timing of the Fire Festival on the day of our visit. Her message to us set the tone for the entire day: thoughtful, flexible, and focused on making sure we experienced the very best.
On the day itself, Masae’s guidance and Toshi’s expert driving made the trip seamless and stress-free. Masae’s knowledge of the region, combined with her warm and accommodating approach, allowed us to enjoy each site without feeling rushed. She adjusted plans as needed based on the weather and traffic, ensuring that we could make the most of every moment.
Toshi was a wonderful driver—safe, reliable, and always ready to get us comfortably from one highlight to the next. Together, they made a fantastic team, and we felt completely taken care of throughout the journey.
If you’re looking for a memorable and personalised experience to Mt. Fuji, we highly recommend booking with Masae and Toshi. Their professionalism, flexibility, and genuine care turned a great trip into an unforgettable one.

What should I know before booking Tokyo private sightseeing tours?
Tokyo is a very big and densely populated city, and although the public transportation system and the roads are very efficient, finding your way can take up a lot of sightseeing time. Private guided sightseeing tours that focus on exploring one area or attraction on foot are a good way to see more in less time. Don’t limit your exploration to the daytime hours, either. Tokyo stays awake well after dark, year-round. Take an efficient private sightseeing tour in the evening to experience the best dining and nightlife areas.
What are the best tips for enjoying Tokyo private sightseeing tours?
Many private sightseeing tours in Tokyo don’t include admission or public transportation fees. Make sure you budget for these extra costs. However, some attractions—such as temples and shrines—have free entry. Dress appropriately for the season: Tokyo gets very hot and humid in summer and is very cold in winter. In colder weather, wear layers you can put on and take off as you enter and exit heated indoor spaces.
What is the best time of year to book Tokyo private sightseeing tours?
The best times of year to visit Tokyo and to take private tours are spring (March–May) and fall (October–November). The weather is mostly warm and dry in these seasons, and you can enjoy seasonal cherry blossoms and fall leaves. These are popular times to travel, so book private tours in advance. If you take a private tour to the mountains—such as Mt. Fuji or Nikko—note that the altitude is higher than at sea-level Tokyo. The weather in these places can be more pleasant in summer but very cold in winter.
