Fun and tasty afternoon
My 20 year old daughter and I did this tour during our first trip to Tokyo and it was one of our favorite activities! We met outside of a Buddhist temple and started with a short tour there. We then went into the fish market and learned about its history, as well of some the guide's favorite stalls. We had the time to purchase snacks before moving onto the class.
Our class was led by Coco and an experience sushi chef. The chef demonstrated how to prepare fish for sushi, as well as sashimi. Plates with prepared fish and bowls of rice were set out for us and the chef walked through how to make different types of nigiri. Finally, we learned how to make a roll. We then got to eat our creations - delicious. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who enjoys sushi!

The BEST ramen!
We had so much fun with Amo and Yoshi! Chef Yoshi owned his own ramen restaurant in Sydney, Australia, and has worked in famous ramen shops across Japan. With his help, we made the most wonderful bowls of ramen and gyoza, and they even accommodated my vegan daughter. We all recommend this experience!

True Japanese Cooking Class with a Fantastic Instructor
Yuca was amazing. She was super friendly and welcoming. She was extremely informative and was more than willing to answer our questions. The class was small and intimate. She included a wonderful guide and recipes for all the dishes we cooked. We made delicious ramen and gyoza. Overall wonderful experience.

Highly recommend 5🌟
Ken and Sora were fabulous hosts. Such a fun time, lovely welcome, a nice small group so super interaction with great explanations and the sushi we made tasted really fresh having just been made by us! The matcha was so much better than I’d had just before at a cafe, really enjoyed the sake too! All in all, highly recommend 5🌟

Ramen Basics for Fun!
If you enjoy ramen and have a very basic understanding of how to make it, this is a wonderful class for you. A simple and fun activity making 3 types of ramen, learning the basics, making your own dough and noodles, and eating some delicious ramen. The chicken and pork stock is already made, as is the toppings like egg, veggies, etc
The people leading the class are super nice, very kind, easy going and helpful in creating a fun experience. Also learned the difference between 3 types of ramen and being able to taste them side by side was really cool

Great Beginner Class
Owa was a great teacher and spoke very good English. She made the art of making mochi seem quite easy - great class for beginners. I liked that she taught the philosophy behind wagashi and incorporated real world examples of where mochi is part of Japanese festivals and holidays. The best part was getting to eat a bunch of mochi at the end!

An Incredible Experience
An incredible experience!
They had a team of people who showed us how to make sushi and provided some history and background. They were enthusiastic which brought the whole experience to life, and our family had an incredible time. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.
A definite must for a visit to Tokyo.

Goyza and Ramen making class
This was such a fun and informative class! The goyzas and ramen were delicious!! It was so much fun not only making the dishes, but also learning the history of how they came to be. And the recipes were emailed to us, so that we can go home and make the dishes ourselves!! Highly recommend this adventure!

Make a wonderful lunch for yourself!
Small group, great instructors, great menu. We each prepared our own meal. We leaned techniques in Japanese cooking cuisine ,about the ingredients they use. I fell in love with Japanese cuisine and intend to practice it at home. We were not hungry but we ate it all. In the following days bought the egg pan , cooking tools and a lot of spices.

Wonderful Afternoon
I was worried going into the experience as I am a big girl and thought they wouldn’t have a kimono that fit me, on the contrary they had kimonos that were much larger than me 🎉. Everyone that we met was positive and kind. They were helpful and gave direction quite clearly. Yuri was our tea Mistress and she was delightful! Informative, interesting, and thorough in her explanations. Overall a very positive and pleasant activity. I would recommend this to all people going to Japan.

I didn't eat sushi but now I do
I am someone who did not eat sushi but after this class I do. The chef is really good and his skills are admirable. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. The host is also very knowledgeable and English speaking, he translate for the chef. The staff was very helpful and I had one laughing because I put too much wasabi on one of mines and I swear my eyes popped out my head but I could breath better lol. I was a little nervous about eating raw fish but it was delicious. Definitely will do again when I go back with a group.

Shopping, cooking, eating, drinking!
I loved that the experience started with a trip to the supermarket. April was the best cooking teacher and guide. She is very knowledgeable and encouraged us every step of our cooking journey. It was also fun to have beer and sake tasting during our cooking lesson. The cooking studio is very spacious. And well set up.
