Wonderful private our of Tokyo
We booked an 8-hour private tour in Tokyo with a driver since we only had part of one day off our cruise ship. When we disembarked, we quickly found our guide, Kaz, holding a sign with our name. He warmly introduced himself and escorted us to our car.
Our first stop was Shibuya Crossing, which was absolutely incredible—crowds of people crossing in every direction at once. Next, we visited the Hachikō Statue, where we took photos and learned about the touching story behind this beloved symbol of loyalty and popular meeting spot.
We then made our way to Meiji Shrine, a peaceful and beautiful place. After that, we visited Sensō-ji Hōzōmon Gate, where Kaz explained the traditional rituals of offering, bowing, clapping, and praying.
For dinner, we mentioned we were craving noodles, and Kaz took us to a local spot where we enjoyed some of the most delicious soba noodles with tempura prawns—absolutely fantastic.
Throughout the day, Kaz was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing history and answering all of our questions. Even though it rained the entire time, we made the most of it and had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this tour and would absolutely book again if we return to Japan.

Wonderful, informative tour with Kate!
Our tour with Kate was fantastic! She worked really closely with us to plan out our itinerary, and gave us lots of feedback and suggestions on how to make the most of our time. Then she was kind enough to reach out on the days leading up to the tour to provide other tidbits on the airport and other travel logistics. On the day of the tour she was ready to go with lots of historical and cultural facts, and guided us through the subway system while even teaching us some of the basics. We were able to visit 7ish different places, and learned the history of each one. Kate took us to a fantastic ramen place for lunch too, so delicious. My husband and I had a wonderful time on the tour, it was such a great way to kickoff our week long trip!

We covered a lot in the 4 hours allotted for this tour. Abir was great. She really knew her Japanese history/culture and we learned a lot! It was nice having someone lead us, especially navigating the train system (which is great btw). Chinatown was fun and we got to taste some of their delicious foods.

How to end a Far East vacation in style
If you’re visiting Yokohama with lots of luggage, a limo is a great way to get to the airport. The driver arrived 10 minutes early in a luxury, multi purpose vehicle made by Toyota that could hold seven people. Consequently, three large suitcases, a carry on and three personal items were no problem. It was a great way to cap a nice trip to the Far East.

Fabulous Tour
This was one of my favorite days in Japan. Sayumi is an excellent guide. Her love of Yokohama was evident throughout the day. I learned a lot about the opening of Japan to the west and the foreigners who settled in Yokohama. Our stop to have a traditional sweet and tea was delicious. The extensive gardens we visited with traditional structures was also wonderful. The cherry on top was that we stumbled upon the opening of an art exhibition with the artisans there to explain their handicrafts. With Sayumi there we were able to have conversations with the artisans and learned so much more than if we had been there on our own. I 100% recommend this tour if you are interested in history and gardens. I would happily relive the day again.

Grateful for our Beautiful day
Mami was a great guide, and so kind to meet us right at hotel, get us taxi, IC card, + trains. She catered tour to what we wanted to see personally, and shared history, Japanese culture, and beliefs, stories that helped us greatly appreciate Enoshima, Kamakura, and Japan.

Great day in Yokohama
We had a terrific day with our guide, Toru. Using the subway, he navigated us to the Saneien Garden which was the highlight of our day. It was so beautiful and intesting. After the garden, we headed to Yamate Town and then viewed the Yokohama Port. Finally, we walked to Yokohama Chinatown. It was quite busy, but Toru found a delicious Chinese restaurant where we ended the tour with a great lunch. He helped navigate us back to our hotel. Toru was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed his company. I would recommend Toru if you are interested in touring Yokohama!

Excellent driving company from the port of Yokohama.
The company did an excellent job of working with us very seamlessly as we negotiated around scheduling difficulties due to a typhoon in the Yokohama area which changed our arrival date. The driver did an excellent job, was there in the front of the group of drivers with a sign that was easy to see, and quickly helped us to the car. He was an excellent driver and we appreciate his good help.

Day tour of Yokohama
Our tour guide was Hiro. He is a long time resident of Yokohama, and was interested in sharing with us the culture and history. He communicated with us before arriving in Japan to determine our interests and what we wanted to see and was well prepared. He was very prompt and tried to keep us on schedule so that we could make the most of our time.

Amazing Kamakura with An
We all enjoyed our tour with An.
An was in contact shortly after we booked, and suggested some sites to visit. She promptly met us at our hotel in Yokohama and guided us to Kamakura via train. We visited the Hase-dera Temple and the Great Buddha as well as the Hachimangu Shrine. We also had a lovely Japanese meal in a nice restaurant.
Highly recommend this tour.
Thank you An for a lovely day.
