The passengers can set the meeting point at any hotel in Tokyo 23 wards. We do not pick up / drop off at outside of Tokyo 23 ward (ex. Maihama, Urayasu, Yokohama etc), cruise terminal that is not listed, Narita airport. If it is within the 23 wards of Tokyo, hotels that are not on the list can also be specified as pickup points, but if you are unable to fill in the name of the hotel as a pickup point, please let us know. By private vehicle - Additional charge will apply if meeting point located outside of Tokyo. - Cancellations are free of charge until 72 hours before the departure, after which the full amount will be charged. By public transport - Meeting point must be within Tokyo 23 ward. *There are many hotels with similar names, and there are the same hotel chains in various places. Please check the name and address carefully so that the guide can pick you up on time. *Tokyo Disney land hotel is not located at Tokyo but in Chiba.

Yuki was an amazing tour guide for our last stop of the cruise in Tokyo. It was our first time visiting Tokyo, and we came at the perfect time to see the cherry blossoms. Even though it was raining, we still had such a great time exploring the city and using the subway to get around.
I had a few specific things I wanted to find, including Onitsuka Tiger shoes and Pokémon cards, and Yuki was incredibly helpful. He knew exactly where to go and made the experience easy and enjoyable. He was also so kind and thoughtful that he even picked up Pokémon cards for us and gifted them to us, which made the day even more memorable.
Yuki was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable navigating such a large city for the first time. One day in Tokyo is definitely not enough, and we would absolutely use Yuki again the next time we come back!

We had a fabulous day in Tokyo with our tour guide Minako. Tokyo is a huge city and very difficult to navigate without help. Minako spoke flawless English and took us to all of the locations that we had asked to see. We travelled by train, metro, taxi and walked a lot! We saw the Meiji Shrine, the Sheuya crossing and were lucky enough to see the blossom at the Imperial Palace. We would highly recommend this tour.

Kahori was a pleasant, thoughtful and informative companion during our full day tour in Tokyo. Though we communicated about the tour ahead of time, Kahori was very flexible about making last minute changes due to our previous day’s itinerary. Both my husband and I were impressed by our day. We loved savoring the foods in the fish market (we even had whale sushi!), the travel by subway, visiting a variety of neighborhoods including Yanaka and shopping all along the way. We started the day in Hamariku, so lovely and serene and enjoyed the expanded history Kahori shared. At the days conclusion we both agreed we would never have been able to closely approximate in 3 days what we covered in our full day tour. We recommend this tour to anyone who is in Tokyo for a short time and wants to make the most of their stay.

This was our first-ever day in Tokyo and Keiji set us up for the whole trip. From the start he asked about our interests and shaped the route accordingly—mixing well-known spots with calm backstreets so we weren’t overwhelmed. He handled navigation, explained cultural do’s/don’ts clearly, and kept a smooth pace with time for photos and questions. We finished feeling oriented, confident with transit, and excited for the rest of Japan. If it’s your first visit, book Keiji—you’ll save hours of confusion and get a thoughtful overview of the city.

Shuhei was an absolutely outstanding tour guide. We communicated in detail about a week before we traveled discussing all the things we wanted to see and his recommendations. He was completely flexible and knowledgeable. About 12 hours before our scheduled tour my husband became ill and Shuhei was so kind and understanding. He was actually able to switch schedules with a fellow tour guide and reschedule us for the next day. He’s kind, patient, knowledgeable, and delightful to be with. Shuhei is everything I would ever hope a tour guide would be and created an absolutely ideal day.
As a plus, he even patiently taught us how to navigate the subway. If you’re lucky, Shuhei maybe your Guide as well. Thank you, Shuhei!

Our guide Sabina Yamamoto & driver Kuse-San were superb. A+. Sabina arranged the tour to fit our needs and interests, including the the imperial palace, Senso-ji & Meiji shrine. We were so moved to see the tombs of the 47 ronin at Senakuji. Sabina, also an accomplished writer, has a deep knowledge of Japanese history, religion & art. Our driver added many insightful comments on modern Japan. My wife & I agree the tour was perfect, the best we ever had. Our guide, Shuhei, was exceptional. He packed our 8 hour tour with so many sites and sounds while still making sure that we were doing ok( we are in our 70's). We talked about our different cultures and had some good laughs. I would highly recommend him to anyone taking this tour. He made a side trip to Tokyo very special. Thank you. Shuhei.

My Mom, one of her best friends, and I took this private tour with Minoru. Minoru offered some great suggestions and asked if there was anything particular that we wanted to do or see. I decided to mention that my Mom's best friend and I are huge Haruki Murakami fans. Part of the itinerary Minoru offered upfront included a location that Murakami writes about - Shibuya Crossing. On the day of the tour, to our great surprise, Minoru mentions if there is a time, we would go to the jazz bar in Norwegian Wood, DUG. At the jazz bar, we ended up talking about Haruki Murakami over a light lunch and drinks. It was a truly wonderful experience - the entire tour, but especially visiting the jazz bar.
I highly recommend Minoru as a tour guide in Japan. For lovers of Haruki Murakami's literary works, Minoru is a fellow Murakami enthusiast. I would recommend for Murakami enthusiasts to utilize Minoru's services when considering a tour.
