What are people saying about Hiroshima

Kazuko was an amazing...
Kazuko was an amazing guide with a deep first hand connection to the Hiroshima bombing. Obviously, that portion of the experience was moving and somber, but it was also somewhat uplifting with a spirit of peace. The Iwajima portion of the tour was phenomenally beautiful and our guide really enriched it greatly. Overall, fantastic experience.

One of the best tours
This is one of the best tours I have ever done. Emi was articulate, patient and kind with all our questions. Exploring Hiroshima from her eyes, given that she is from Hiroshima, was special. I learned so much during this walking tour and once again, thanks to Emi. I highly- highly recommend a visit to Hiroshima first and then Nagasaki if you plan to tour Japan.

Visit to Hiroshima
A great day spent visiting Hiroshima and also the Atomic Bomb Memorial. Amigo Tours did a nice job with our bullet train tickets and our tour guide Angeles was phenomenal. A very knowledgeable person and managed both Spanish and English during the tour. Angeles also ensured to bring an empathetic approach to her description of the Atomic Bomb Memorial which is important given the many viewpoints of what happened. Truly a day well spent and be prepared to walk.

Aaze was a great tour...
Aaze was a great tour guide, he’s very fluent in English and is very confident and knowledgeable on the subject that is this tour. He was also very accommodating making sure we were in the shade and that we were hydrated as much as possible given how the heat was the entirety of the day.

Many Hiroshima tours focus on the city’s World War II-era history, with guided visits to attractions like the UNESCO-listed Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and the Atomic Bomb Dome. But the city hasn’t let itself be fully defined by tragedy. A local guide can help you navigate modern Hiroshima and learn more about the city’s rich culture. Activities like tea ceremonies, food tours, and day trips to see the famous Itsukushima Shrine in Miyajima can show you all that the city has to offer.
