Ai was super accommodating! We wanted to see Mount Fuji and she did everything in her power to make that possible. Even stopping along the way to buy souvenirs for our grandchildren.
Excellent tour. Great way to see so many of the sights in just one day. Our tour guide, Deric, was superb. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating and he amended the schedule to what we wanted to see. It was 100% customised. We liked that there were only 2 of us in a very comfortable vehicle and we could spend the time we wanted at each stop. We were not rushed. We highly recommend this private tour of Tokyo with Deric.
Our first time in Tokyo we found our Private Driver experience so much fun and Deric our driver was very knowledgeable
We had lots of laughs and he made our trip so worthwhile
So glad we made the decision to book through Viator
Jamy was an absolutely wonderful driver & guide. He pointed out places that we past while driving & he suggested a ramen restaurant that was great. If you have a choice of drivers, we definitely recommend Jamy.
This was an absolute 10 out of 10 day! From the pre-pickup communication to the end of our tour we had even more information and support than we even thought we might need. Ken was the perfect guide - a careful & skilled driver with exceptional knowledge about Tokyo & Japan. He was friendly, courteous and fun! We highly recommend this young man. You will not be sorry.
Mike was the best, most informative, easy going, professional driver we have ever had. Perfect service and care.
Loved this Tokyo tour. Our driver/host Deric was great! Informative, friendly, helpful. We were able to customize our tour and adapt to the weather. Deric had great suggestions. We saw a lot more with this tour than we would have seen on our own. Would definitely recommend!
Jone met us at the terminal and helped with our luggage. He was friendly, and knowledgeable. We saw many sites and he added a lunch stop at our request. When it was time to get into our hotel/appt he was invaluable with his assistance. Would highly recommend him
Great easy customizable tour. Mike was super, helpful and always where we needed him. Perfect for a one-day tour of just what WE wanted to see.
We had a lovely driver that spoke great English his name was hideki and he was absolutely fantastic we went to takeshita great for the food and shops then we had fun daiso great place for all sorts and we had a lovely dinner out great driver so big thank you.
Pickup location was not at the cruise ship terminal. We had to walk to the main road which was about 300 metres away. A long walk for one person in our group. This was not mentioned ahead of time when I booked the cruise.
It was a great experience! Mark was very knowledgeable and kind throughout the entire trip. It was extremely customizable. We ended up changing our itinerary a lot and he was super flexible and kind.
Our guide Deric was amazing! He was on time for pick up from our hotel. Made seeing Tokyo in a day so easy! Would drop us off and pick us up at any location we wanted. Thank you again!
An absolutely amazing day touring Tokyo! If you only have one day and want to see all the best sites in a comfortable way this is the tour. Ken our guide was awesome, very knowledgeable, super friendly, and knew how to get to all the best spots in all of the places we wanted.
Highly recommend!
Viator is reliable. First rate and delivers the tour you’re expecting. I would recommend them 100%. The guide was knowable and wanted to make sure my time with him was exactly what I wanted to experience.
Hideki has today provided us with a brilliant and amazing experience, showing us around to our rather huge wish list of sites we wanted to see. We are three generations of varying ages. Hideki gave us a lot of information about all the sites and answered a lot of questions we all had including our 6 year old. He was incredibly respectful, helpful and gave us a fantastic day the three of us will always remember. Would highly recommend Hideki and wish to thank him so much from the three of us. We had a wonderful first day in Tokyo thanks to our fantastic driver/ historian 😉, Jason. He took us to all the city highlights and customized our time to suit our desires. Jason took lots of photos for us which was a bonus. We learned so much about Japan’s history. Great tour guide!
An enjoyable day spent with Jason and a great acclimatisation for our Tokyo trip. The samurai mueseum near Senso-Ji was also a great way to spend an hour too.
Had a wonderful day sightseeing around Tokyo and it is the best way to do a tour with people with limited mobility. The driver and guide, Reja, was amazing and caring as we had our 93 year old mum with us. He was very kind and helped us with our mum and made it possible for us to the whole day tour. Reja was knowledgeable, was fluent in English and did a great tour of Tokyo city. Thank you Reja for making our visit comfortable.
From beginning to end Jason was absolutely wonderful. A careful driver, very knowledgeable about Japanese history and culture, and made sure we made our tour customizable to suit our needs. I will recommend this company to everyone I know.
Jamy was an excellent driver and customized our day around our priorities. Fabulous day seeing so much of Tokyo.
Just enough structure with lots of flexibility and a really nice guide who even found us an anime shop to buy something for our daughter
We had an awesome tour today with John as our guide. He gave us a ton of useful information throughout the day and even indulged us when we decided to change the original itinerary and spend 2 hours shopping in Ginza. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for an excellent day tour of Tokyo.
We had an amazing experience and highly recommend this tour! It was absolutely worth the cost. One of the best parts was that the itinerary was completely customizable, so we were able to visit the places that interested us most while also getting great recommendations from our driver on other sights we shouldn't miss.
Having a private, air-conditioned vehicle made a huge difference, especially in the Tokyo heat. Being able to hop in and out without worrying about navigating trains or figuring out directions saved us so much time and made the day completely stress-free.
Our driver was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating throughout the day. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Tokyo, and we wouldn't hesitate to book it again.
Mike was great. He helped us see all the high points and was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a good time with him.
An incredible experience and the perfect way to start your Tokyo adventure! This tour gave us an excellent introduction to the city, helping us understand Tokyo and Japanese culture so we could make the most of the rest of our trip. Our guide, Ken, was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate, making every stop interesting and enjoyable. We learned so much in just a few hours and discovered places and insights we would never have found on our own. If you’re visiting Tokyo, don’t miss this tour—it’s worth doing on your very first day. Muito obrigado, Ken and Sakura Tokyo! We’ll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
