This experience was definitely a highlight from our trip. Booking and logistics were very easy and our tour guide, Gianni, was very kind and friendly and made the experience great too! We had a lot of fun at each of the locations and really enjoyed seeing all the cars and sights. We will definitely do this again on our next trip to Japan!

A great experience!

Alicia_C, Jul 2026
This experience was not what I was expecting (I didn’t book it for me) but I had a fantastic time. The driver was very friendly and it was so cool to see some Tokyo sites at top speeds.

You have never seen Tokyo this way

dinesh_k, Jul 2026
This is a once in a life time experience. Our driver Miya was amazing. Total fast and furious experience. Was very knowledgeable about cars also.

Amazing Way to Experience Tokyo

Hope_G, Jul 2026
What an incredible experience! The guides were friendly, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable, sharing interesting information throughout the tour and making everyone feel welcome. Driving through the tunnels was an absolute highlight—the sound of the cars echoing off the walls was unforgettable and gave the whole experience that iconic Tokyo Drift feeling. It was also so much fun being part of a convoy of amazing cars, cruising together through the city. The atmosphere was fantastic, and seeing the group travel as one made it feel really special. If you're a car enthusiast or just looking for a unique way to experience Tokyo, I highly recommend the Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift III experience. It's an unforgettable adventure from start to finish

While the car show was...

Kelsey_R, Jul 2026
While the car show was nice, the driver was not the nicest and felt very rushed. The parts store they took us to, felt like very “salesy”.

If you're even thinking...

jaya_g, Jul 2026
If you're even thinking about doing this tour, just book it, you won't regret it! We were a group of 10, and the team was incredibly accommodating from start to finish. The entire experience was well organized, and getting to ride in the amazing lineup of JDM sports cars made it unforgettable. Seeing these cars up close was incredible and even if you're not a huge car person, the atmosphere and excitement make this a must-do experience in Tokyo. We been to Tokyo several times but this was our first time doing anything like this, and the only regret we have is not doing it sooner! It ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. A huge shoutout to our guide, Yuri. He was absolutely awesome—friendly, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about cars. You could tell he genuinely loves what he does, and his passion made the tour even better. Plus, his Lexus ICS 350 was badass! Riding with the top down made it all the more better!! If you're visiting Tokyo and want a unique experience that's exciting, memorable, and full of incredible cars, this tour is 100% worth it. We would absolutely do it again and will be recommending it to all of our friends and family!

Poor Directions

Nathan_R, Jul 2026
We were unfortunately unable to participate in the Tokyo Drift tour. After our reservation was made, the tour’s start time was changed to 5:30 PM. Because of that change, we had to rearrange our itinerary a couple of days beforehand to ensure we could make the new start time. Following the instructions in the Viator app, I clicked the provided link, which opened a map with a destination flag. Like most people using a navigation app, I tapped the flag and followed the directions it provided to the parking lot that was mentioned. I did not realize there was a small person icon in the lower-right corner that led to a different meeting location. A few minutes before 5:30 PM, the operator called to ask where we were. He explained that it was no longer possible to pick us up and that, due to Tokyo rush-hour traffic, there was virtually no chance we could catch up to the group by taxi. We had already spent $147 on round-trip transportation from our hotel to the meeting area. I wasn’t willing to gamble another $50 on a taxi with little chance of making it in time. The operator offered to let us join the following day for an additional ¥10,000. Unfortunately, that would have required us to give up part of our day at Disney, where we had already purchased tickets, and spend even more money. I don’t fault the tour operator—they were courteous and tried to offer an alternative. My frustration is with the Viator app and its confusing navigation. When a map opens with a destination flag, it’s natural to tap the flag and follow the directions it provides. That design led directly to us missing the tour, making for a very disappointing experience.

Thank you for the exciting time, Yu!

Daniel_P, Jun 2026
This was a very fun tour - our driver Yu was very friendly, very punctual (he picked us up at our hotel, which was a great bonus), and really made the driving experience quite exciting. His car was immaculate, comfortable but also very cool. Thank you, Yu, for the great time! It was a very unique experience!

Do It!

Great tour for lovers of speed and cool cars

Simon_R, Jun 2026
It was good fun, and our driver Yasmim was super nice. Cool car and cool driver. Working seat belt would have improved the overall grade, and an easier time to communicate (in English that is for our part). But other than that it was a fantastic evening and my two boys loved it.

Misleading Experience and Not Worth the Price

Mariela_H, Jun 2026
The experience was not what I expected. The photos and videos make it seem much more exciting than it actually is, but at the car meet there were only about five cars at most and the parking lot was mostly empty. The drivers also weren’t drifting, so the name of the experience feels misleading. Overall, I wouldn’t spend my money on this again or recommend it to others.

Response from Host, Jun 2026

Thank you for sharing your honest feedback — we're sorry to hear the experience didn't meet your expectations. Note that car meets can vary from day to day, specially in Daikoku where the meeting is organic. We'd also like to clarify that our tours don't include drifting, as it's illegal on public streets and the experience is centered around visiting locations and a car culture-themed route. We appreciate you taking the time to share this, as it genuinely helps us improve. If you'd like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out directly.

Really cool experience...

Ruben_P, Jun 2026
Really cool experience seeing JDM cars but I was expecting more. The cars we rode on were pretty normal and the organizer wanted to split up my girlfriend and I into different cars.

Amazing experience!

LINDSEY_F, Jun 2026
Driver made sure that we were safe and that our experience was unforgettable . I thoroughly enjoyed every minute. Definitely booking again when I return to Japan.

very recommanded

shoval_B, Jun 2026
The experience was great and thrilling. The driver was amazing and funny, making the drive more fun. That was already,

What a fun experience...

Brent_T, Jun 2026
What a fun experience getting to see some of the car culture in Tokyo. Went with a family of 5 with 15, 13 and 12 yo girls and everyone loved it. Onel and Tharindu were our drivers; their cars were clean and fun. They did a great job navigating through traffic at high speeds always in control of their cars.

Definitely a car lovers...

Bernardo_G, Jun 2026
Definitely a car lovers dream going to Tokyo night car meets. Not just JDM cars, but a lot euro sports cars and American muscle, I saw a few Porsches, Ferrari, and Lamborghini.

Thrill seekers, come here.

Irina_M, Jun 2026
This is the experience for those thrill seekers who chase speed. I personally just wanted to look at cars and be driven around and it ended up being an enjoyable enough experience, since I'm not big into the car scene. We were driven in two different cars, since we asked to be dropped off at our hotel (no added cost!) but the only part that saddened me and my partner is that we thought when booking this experience it was going to be a private tour, nonetheless it was enjoyable and am glad we pushed through the discomfort and enjoyed the views, we stayed in the back seats of both cars to our comfort. I did think there was a bit of reckless driving especially speeding through busy areas and curves but driver was reassuring that he knew what he was doing. Nonetheless, it was a unique experience and I'd recommend for those who really like cars.

Best Experience Ever!!!!!

Jerald_H, Jun 2026
Our driver Onel Fernando was awesome very insightful knows a lot about cars and is very knowledgeable about a multitude of things he’s a great guy

10/10 do it again.

Kennedy_B, Jun 2026
This was so much fun. A great experience that is worth so much more than the price you pay. I would definitely do it again. Our driver Gabi was very super friendly and engaging. I would recommend this to anyone, whether they are into cars or not.

Great tour for car aficionados

JesusDaniel_T, Jun 2026
Amazing car aficionado experience. Got to see a lot of exotic cars you see in movies. Highly recommended

The tour started off...

Zekia_J, Jun 2026
The tour started off rocky but ended great. I guess some cars didn’t show up and they didn’t have enough drivers to fit everyone that booked. We didn’t start until almost 30 minutes after the tour time while they figured it out and then they asked for people to split their groups up into different cars. BUT once it started it was nice. We started off with one driver, I can’t remember his name but his car was cool. We did get caught in heavy traffic so my friend and I actually fell asleep. But then we arrived to the meet up car show area where we walked around to see all the other nice cars, it’s like a rest stop so you’re able to get snacks from the store and a restroom area. Then we got in the car with Carlton and he was so nice. From Brazil and spoke great English so he talked more than the first guy and gave us recommendations on where to eat, what to go site see, and he loves old school hip hop so we were jamming in his car. His car was Brian’s car from 2fast 2 furious, if you’re fan of the series then you know. We rode across the rainbow bridge and around Shibuya, stopped at a huge car store where you can buy almost anything you can think of for your car, accessories, smell goods etc. and it had a Starbucks inside!! We did the 5pm one but maybe the midnight would be better due to traffic and being able to drive faster ? Overall it was definitely worth the experience. Ask for Carlton if you book this !! You won’t be disappointed

Awesome Experience

Nathan_T, Jun 2026
This was an awesome experience! Gagan was our main driver/guide and he did an excellent job describing the car (WRX STI) and the sights and sounds of the experience. His co-guide Thari (also in a WRX STI) was also excellent. The cars were in great condition, and they drove them fast but excellently. Our stops included the Daikoku parking area where there were many JDM cars and a few supercars as well (McLaren, Lambo, and Porsche). We then went to a JDM oriented store before ending up at Tokyo Tower for a photo op. They dropped us off at our hotel at the end as well. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Tokyo.

Good intentions

Sonya_M, Jun 2026
The experience promised an English speaking driver and that didn’t happen. So we basically rode in a car to the parking lot of other cars and walked around by ourselves. We did stop at Tokyo tower and take a pic. It was a lot of money to do it alone / have a driver. However my son liked looking at the cars but would have been better to have some to discuss / explain the cars or even the area.

Cool experience in Tokyo!

BCarla_Y, Jun 2026
It was fun with Joji-san and Clayton-san! The drive as faat as the traffic allows But would recommend doing this at night!

monik_g, May 2026
Super fun the kids had a great time did this for my son’s birthday and he loved it. Our driver was super kind and spoke great English .

Scam

Xavier_B, May 2026
The event was the complete opposite of what we booked.. Booking didn’t mention anything about sharing a car, can’t drive fast or drift. We was told this last minute before the tour started. We even showed the booking details and nothing changed. Waste of money and time.

So fun, great drivers, awesome time. Definitely book this.

Brian_C, May 2026
This was the best, most fun thing we did in Tokyo. If you like car culture, cool cars, or driving fast, this is a must do activity. Our drivers Hiro, and Jhony made this experience so awesome from start to finish. This is also a great way to see Tokyo at night. I booked this for me and my son, and it was such a great experience. 100 times more fun than the Fast & Furious ride at Disneyland. 10 out of 10 would recommend this to others.

Book it!

Carvin_M, May 2026
Driver was awesome and skilled! Took us to some cool places and I highly recommend. Bring an action camera to record your ride.

Would not recommend

Rachel_H, May 2026
Were not understanding with me being a little late even thought the experience is over 2 hours. Wasted money

Response from Host, May 2026

Hello Rachel, the tour has a time to start and is not fair with the persons that arrived on time to wait for a person that arrived 1:00 late. Would be disrespectful from our side to hold the others.

Makoto was a very good...

Brianna_Y, May 2026
Makoto was a very good guide made us feel comfortable and we had so much fun on the experience lots of laughs and great music. Would definitely want him as are driver again !

Horrible Booking Company!!! Drivers WERE AMAZING!!!

ALISON_H, May 2026
The company that we booked with was horrible and unorganized! We booked 2 couples 2 cars. The person on site was RUDE! She called out a male in our party because he said what she was doing was BS! She tried to split another couple up and put one person in our car and another in our other car. Said we had to switch out at every stop. BS!!! We didn’t really care for the cruise stops. We asked the drivers if we could skip the parking lot scenes and just drive! They had to call in and get it approved 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ HOWEVER! The drivers were GREAT!
