Great day trip while in Tokyo. Beautiful bus drive, about two hours. My. Fuji was 100% visible so we lucked out! We were told by our wonderful tour guide that it’s usually 30%. Tram ride and boat tour were nice and relaxing. Lunch was great buffet of traditional Japanese foods. Well organized. Bullet train back was the way to go as only 30 minutes. Highly recommend.

Amazing, interesting and full day, all supervised by lovely Mai! Sun shone and Mount Fuji stood majestic. Wonderful lunch, cable car and boat trip and home quickly via the bullet train! Nothing not to love!

The tour will be attending to following alternative places or giving out a gift as a compensation depending on a situation at that time. Refunds will not be given for these changes.     • We will attend an alternative place instead of 5th station due to traffic regulation of Mt Fuji hill climb on 7th June.
    • Please​ handle​ the​ loading​ and​ unloading​ of​ your​ luggage​ from​ the​ trunk​ yourself.​ (Including​ wheelchairs,​ stroller​ etc..)
    • The buffet offers the same menu for all guests, but there are dishes that vegetarians and those seeking Muslim-friendly options can enjoy. However, please note that we do not cater to following dietary requirements: Vegan, Halal, Pure vegetarian, Gluten free, and Allergy-friendly meals.

    No guarantee that you will see Mt Fuji. All depends on the weather. The trip is well worth doing regardless. Meg, our guide, was a little pocket rocket. Her English was good, she was entertaining & very well organised. 10/10.

    Best tour I have been on in years. The tour itself was really interesting, but the tour guide made it what it was. He was informative, entertaining and friendly and explained each stage of the trip perfectly. Would recommend to anyone!

    Great way to see Mt Fuji

    We had great weather, so Mt Fuji was visible. Mai-san was a wonderful tour guide. Lunch buffet was good, not great, but filling. Pirate ship ride was over crowded, but if you go back down to the first floor, left-hand side after setting sail you will get a window and good view. Bullet train was fantastic! Plenty of seating, so smooth, lots of room. The melon volcano bread (recommended by Mai-san) at the Station 5 for viewing Mt Fuji, was delicious... especially served warm.

    Enjoyable Mount Fuji trip

    Although we didn’t get to see Mount Fuji itself (weather happens) we still had a great day out. The ropeway (cable car) over the volcano crater was eye opening and the lake trip relaxing. Our guide Ytah was very organised and helpful. He made sure that the whole day ran smoothly and even provided lots of tips to everyone about other trips and experiences in Japan.

    Great Day visiting Hakone & Mt. Fuji

    Great value trip to Mt. Fuji

    Great experience despite the weather. Our guide Hiro was amazing. He provided a great experience. The day started with rain but once we got to Mt Fuji the sun came out. Lunch was excellent. A delicious Japanese buffet at a Ninja park. The day was not done. We had a gondola ride to see an active volcano and a boat ride too. You get your money’s worth on this trip. Highly recommend!

    We had a great day which ran very smoothly. Our guide Yuta was very good knowledge and so was his English. Beautiful views of Fuji, delicious lunch, good Ropecar. We were disappointed we didn't get to go on the pirate ship which is in photos...another type of cruise boat was used.

    A great day out

    This trip was excellent from start to finish. From the lovely Japanese coach driver to the exceptional tour guide, Juta, everything was perfectly organised. We saw Mount Fuji at its very best from Station 5, enjoyed a lovely lunch, a fun cable car ride, and a smooth boat trip. If you do this trip — which I highly recommend — make sure you take the bullet train back instead of returning by coach, as the traffic can apparently be horrendous. It was a long day, but absolutely fantastic. 10/10 and great value for money

    Overall good tour with a great tour guide

    I’ll start with the good… Mai was a wonderful tour guide — so enthusiastic and engaging! We enjoyed the tour, though some aspects could be better (the lunch wasn’t great and we only got to experience part of the ropeway because of traffic). I also would’ve loved to have seen more of Hakone. All in all, it was a lot to pack into a day but it could have been planned a little better (no fault of our guide, Mai, who again did a great job).

    Fantastic day trip

    This was a great day trip to some beautiful places. Yuty was out guide for the day and he was brilliant. The time in the bus was filled with fun facts and useful information, off the bus he became the group photographer. He made sure the tour was on time and everyone knew what was happening throughout the day. We were incredibly lucky that Mt Fuji was visible the entire day and it was so special to see it from so many angles. Our bus was clean and comfortable, and the bullet train at the end of the day was a nice change from the bus and a very quick way to get back to Tokyo avoiding traffic. Highly recommended!

    Mt. Fuji is a trip of a life time. Is well worth the money. Tour guide is knowledgeable. The return back to your hotel needs to plan due to the return using bullet train is self guide.

    Fantastic day, Aya tour guide, very knowledgeable, spoke good English, we were lucky with the weather great views up the top of Mount Fuji. Lunch venue was excellent, very clean and food was good, after lunch we walked around Japanese gardens with views of Mount Fuji. Cable car enjoyable and interesting, with good view. Enjoyed the lake cruise, but limited seats on boat, good views of surrounding country side and lake. Bullet train journey was brilliant and a nice end to the day. Excellent value for money 👍.

    Disappointed Trip That Went Ahead

    Experience should have been cancelled due to terrible weather. Couldn’t see Mount Fuji at all. So bad it might not have been there. Cable car ride and boat trip, again should have been cancelled due to not being able to see anything due to rain and mist. Bulletin train ok. Considering our previous positive experiences with Viator, surprised this trip went ahead. Very disappointed.

    It was a full day of the Mt. Fuji tour. Lisa our tour guide fed us with a lot of pertinent information. However due to the clouds Mt. Fuji was not totally visible. We had a great time and we highly recommend this tour.

    Poorly Organize and more bus travel than tour.

    Meg, our guide seemed nice but it went downhill from there. She told us a 9 AM that Mt Fuji was busy so we are having lunch at 10 AM, This is way to early to have lunch. We had 30 minutes to eat and use the bathroom for a bus load of people. In addition the fried food served was cold and inedible. Then we get on the bus and she says we are skipping the gondola because the lines are to long. We spent 30 minutes at Mt Fuji which was way to short. Instead she gave us 800 yen vouchers to use at a souvenir shop she took us to. The tickets for the gondola are 3,000 yen and 800 is an insult. So with missing the gondola, we spent most of our time on the bus. The boat ride was ok. Having such a short time at Mt Fuji and missing the Gondola was so disappointing. I reached out to the company and after 5 days, no response. For such an expensive tour I could have seen Mt Fuji for less and had more time there. I would skip this tour company.

But​ since​ Mt.​ Fuji​ is​ about​ 100​ and​ few​ kilometers​ away​ from​ Tokyo​ and​ also​ our​ tour​ incorporates​ traveling​ to​ Hakone​ area​ (another​ prefecture​ from​ where​ Mt.​ Fuji​ is),​ it​ hence results for​ the​ bus​ ride​ to​ get​ a​ little​ extended.​ With​ this,​ our​ tour​ takes​ you​ to​ 3​ different​ prefectures​ in​ one​ day​ which​ if​ one​ had​ to​ do​ on their​ own​ would​ not​ be​ possible​ at​ any​ cost.​ We​ appreciate​ your​ understanding​ on​ the​ matter​ and​ wish​ you​ a​ lovely​ stay​ for​ the​ rest​ of​ the​ period​ here​ in​ Japan.​ Best​ regards, Japan​ Panoramic​ Tours

    Perfect day tour to Mount Fuji with guide Yatu

    Our guide Yatu was absolutely fantastic. Very knowledgeable and very considerate. He spent time chatting to everyone on the tour He gave us helpful hints and some great, funny stories. The tour itself was perfect and we were so lucky to see Mount Fuji in all its glory withe the sun shining on it. Great tour, great guide and would recommend it to everyone. Great journey back to Tokyo on bullet train.
