Fun Food Tour!
Yoon was an awesome guide! I highly recommend his tour. He had options to accommodate for food restrictions, he taught us interesting things about Korean culture, answered our million questions, taught us a game, and he shared Korean life through the food. You could tell he was passionate and he truly made the experience so fun and interesting! This is also a great way to try things out so you have a good foundation of what to eat while you visit Korea while also having the opportunity to get a little bit out of your comfort zone!

Worth It, But This Is NOT a Casual Walking Tour
Okay guys, first things first: this is a VERY intense tour. It starts with a pretty steep hike up to the red suspension bridge, and after that there is a lot of walking up and down hilly roads. I would personally recommend skipping the tunnel unless you genuinely enjoy intense physical activity 😭 Going down was already a little challenging, but coming back up? I definitely saw God. That being said, I absolutely loved our tour guide, Hana. If you can request her, please do. She was incredibly kind, patient, helpful, and very knowledgeable throughout the entire tour. My favorite parts were actually the observatory, hearing the North Korean defector share his story, and the JSA museum. And the imjingak park Those parts were extremely interesting and made the tour feel really meaningful. The suspension bridge view is also definitely worth seeing, just take your time getting up that mountain and do not feel pressured to rush. Overall, I’m really glad I did the tour, but I do think people should know what they’re signing up for physically. If you have health concerns, mobility issues, or difficulty with steep inclines, stairs, or prolonged walking, I would book at your own discretion and seriously consider skipping the tunnel. Beautiful views, fascinating history, wonderful guide… but my knees and lungs would like a formal apology. 😭

This was a very...
This was a very informative tour, learning about the history between North Korea and South Korea was definitely worthwhile. The views from the suspension bridge were breathtaking and the 3rd tunnel was such an experience. Our English speaking tour guide was Simba, she was fantastic, very helpful, full of knowledge and she made the trip interesting and added in some humour as well. So I would highly recommend asking for Simba as your tour guide.

This small group DMZ tour...
This small group DMZ tour was a great experience. Joo-Ee was an excellent guide and provided all of the necessary details ahead of time. Pickup from my hotel was smooth and we were the first group to arrive at Imjingak which allowed us to be on the first bus into the DMZ. Joo-Ee did a fantastic job keeping us informed of the history and ensuring we saw everything. The suspension bridge was a nice stop as well. Overall, I would greatly recommend this tour as it was comprehensive and efficiently run.
