Such a fun experience! The hosts were very knowledgeable on the history and culture of sumo wrestlers. The wrestlers made the afternoon so much fun!

We learnt a lot and had fun. The staff were all friendly. Venue was good, although the stairs up weren’t easy to navigate for someone with mobility issues. An enjoyable morning.

We had a great time. Highly recommend. Kept the kids (6 & 10) and us entertained the whole time. Small intimate venue. You can arrive 30mins before start time to get a sit.

Its a bit kitsch but you do get an understanding of the basics of Sumo and the history behind it - would be good to follow it with a visit to a real sumo match

Fun experience in a friendly environment. The whole room enjoyed it. After the 2 wrestlers showed their moves and answered everyone’s questions, volunteers were dressed in costumes and given a chance to wrestle.

This was a fun experience! We definitely learned about the tournaments and sumo wrestlers and their lives. The show was more for fun , but definitely worth to see it. The only confusing part was direction- google map took us from the back of the building but the entry if from the main street. Look for the signs!

Good fun as a tourist destination but far from a traditional sumo experience. More of a laugh and a joke, very americanized humour and cheering / booing. Didn’t quite sit right with me for something so rooted in tradition and culture

We got a great show! Dai was an amazing host and told us the history and routines of the rikishi. Both sumo wrestlers were amazing! We had Koji and Hiro with great comedic moments. I enjoyed my time here!

This sumo show was so much fun. The sumo wrestlers not only demonstrated sumo wrestling to us but they were entertaining. As professionals they showed us the skill and strength that they exhibit when wrestling in a match. But they also showed their fun side by interacting with members of the audience. The MC, John, was perfect for the role as he gave us the history of Sumo wrestling and announced the marches in real time. Short of actually seeing a Sumo wrestling tournament match, this was an exciting and fun experience.

This was a great introduction into world of sumo! The host provided excellent information. The sumo guys demonstrated the different techniques. There was time for q&a with the sumo guys, including photos with them.

A must do in Tokyo! The show was informative, and well choreographed. The MC a young Japanese/Kiwi was fantastic, as well as his support team. The Sumo’s Georgie and Miro were super athletic, funny and great showmen..not shoguns, lol. Five Stars!!

We had a great time at the sumo wrestling experience. Not something I thought I would’ve booked but several in our group heard it was good. And we thoroughly enjoyed it. Loved learning about the history of the Sumo wrestler.

This was a really fun, great experience for all ages, family friendly. The host (Dai) and performers are incredible. Interactive with the audience. Very informative about the history and rules of the sport. Opportunity to ask them questions during the show. You can volunteer to “challenge” one of the wrestlers (they clearly let volunteers win:). Snacks & drinks available.
