It was excellent! John was a fabulous, engaging and informative MC and Guchi and Ide were phenomenal Sumo Wrestlers. This was a favorite activity- kept all ages entertained and we learned so much too!

This was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The club hosts provided a lovely history of sumo and explained the basics of the sport. The demo provided by Guchi and George was excellent. They were so engaging and watching them wrestle volunteers was so much fun, especially one of the youngest audience members. It was adorable!

Such a great time! I enjoyed it more than I thought I would, and this is definitely something everyone should do if you never have. They also taught us about sumo wrestling and its history, which was a great add on.

I never knew what I didn't know about Sumo and this is a highlight of our trip. What a fantastiic show and exhibition. Koji and Hiro were wonderful as were the show's hosts! Well worth the time!

The show was an exhibition but it was a lot of fun and very entertaining. I especially liked the information session at the beginning; we learned about the history and traditions of Sumo and its place within Japanese culture.

This was good experience with information about Sumo presented in an entertaining way. The wrestlers had very good sense of humor while showing how Sumo works. Kids enjoyed it as well.

A fantastic and entertaining experience! We learned about the history and rules of sumo in a fun and engaging way, making it easy to appreciate the sport and its traditions. The wrestlers put on a great show, and having the opportunity to take photos with them afterward was a real highlight. A memorable experience in Shinjuku that I'd highly recommend!

We had a great time at Shinjuku Sumo Club. Dai, our MC for the evening was informative, engaging and funny. It was great to learn about the history, the rules and see the technic and a match. Time flew-by. Note that you can purchase drinks and snacks that are brought to your seat. The entrance is up an outside staircase to 2F. Everyone should go and see this (young and old and everyone in between!)

This was a great experience in Shinjuku. The club was easy to find, very welcoming and very informative. Rio was a great host and presented the history of sumo in a funny and engaging way. Guchi and George were professional, funny and kind and it was so interesting to learn about their craft. There was ample time for questions and photos as well. A great experience!

So interesting to do if you have never been to a sumo show. English friendly. You learn lot about the history of sumo wrestling and the different parts of each match. Wear socks! Great experience!!
