Excellent walking tour!
Wow…did I luck out and have Paulina the tour guide all to myself, as I happened to book at an odd time and they were accommodating enough to give me a unexpected “private tour”, as I was the only person to sign up! I went in the evening and thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Paulina was incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly and eager to show me around her city! The Temples and Gates were really cool to see lit up at night and the weather was cooler too! Thanks so much for the great tour Paulina, I really appreciate it…and learned a lot too!

Great class and instructors!
Out instructor was Ken and his assistant was Suzie. They were personable, knowledgeable, and made the class fun and entertaining. We left feeling like we could try again and practice with the steps given. We highly recommend this experience! Hoi hoi hoi!

A great experience
It is hard to even know what to say because of how amazing it was. At the start of the day, I felt worried and confused (about being so far from home {and the train system}), but by the end, I feel comfortable about this far land, all because of our tour guide.
Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. As a history buff with the knowledge of an amateur anthropologist, this guide was perfect and he answered my many questions (both about what we were seeing and deeper questions about Japanese culture/society).
The sites seen were also amazing, though one was largely about a television show that I believe is only really known by Japanese audiences (we saw where that show was filmed), but the filming locations were worth it themselves and the added information on the filming only added more interest to the area.
Overall, I greatly enjoyed what I experienced today and would highly recommend it to others.

Back Roads of Japan
We had a great experience exploring the back roads of Tokyo with our guide, Jenny. She was professional, enthusiastic, possessed a deep knowledge of the history/culture of Japan. She showed us amazing sights and took us to local spots that we would have missed on our own. Highly recommended!

Great day trip to Mount Fuji
Took the familynon a day trip with our tour guide Zubi. He was an exceptional tour guide, providing us with plenty of time to enjoy ours selves, provide excellent information and knew the little insights that made the day special. Was extremely patient with our children which we appreciated. Would 100% recommend Zubi for your next family trip.

Five stars - highly recommend this tour!
We had an amazing time on this Shinjuku foodie tour! Hiro was an outstanding guide - kind, knowledgeable, and made the experience so enjoyable. With only one other guest, it felt almost like a private tour for our family of four. The food was incredible - it was the best sushi I’ve ever had, and our teens couldn’t stop talking about the wagyu. We highly recommend this tour, and if you’re lucky enough to get Hiro as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience!

A tour I would do again
Shinnosuke was great tour guide. He gave a great history background about the royal family and symbolism of the castle. He gave detailed history accounts and the importance of signature locations of the grounds around the castle. Despite the heat, Shinnosuke was very patience with us and informative along the way, as well as very considerate. For those who need an English tour guide he is your man. I would highly recommend him.

Fun informative tour!
I took my 13 year old son with me on this tour and we had a blast. Our guide Yayoi did an excellent job showing us around the neighborhood and also explaining to us the history and significance of the area and the sites. She also showed us how practitioners pray at the shrines. It was a little hot and sunny but the guide did a great job of making sure we were getting plenty of shade and breaks along the way so we didn’t get too hot. Highly recommend!

Yuya was a wonderful...
Yuya was a wonderful guide! We got to taste a multitude of highlights from the market, and we highly recommend the wagyu skewers (5000 yen) and the Japanese omelet. Everything was delicious, although you do pay for it all out of pocket - so expect to bring some money!

Best Tokyo Tour!
We had the best tour guide with Luigi. We felt so lucky to have been placed with him. He went out of his way to customize our experience while allowing us to feel flexible to stop and eat and shop. He had a wonderful way of showing us all the highlights while missing the crowds and finding the best picture spots. Ending on the tanuki street was awesome! Highly recommend as a great way to be introduced to Tokyo.

Book with Yuki for a wonderful experience!
Yuki was fantastic! I booked my tour for a Tuesday afternoon and ended up being the only person for that time. Yuki treated me like a VIP and gave me a great experience! He started at our meeting point telling me about the Shinjuku station and how much the area has been built up since before the 50s to now. Every detail was so interesting! This is my first time in Japan and I stepped out of my comfort zone signing up to do this tour by myself. Yuki made me feel so comfortable and I felt like I was walking around with a friend, not a tour guide. We laughed and joked the whole time. He answered all my questions. When we went to a shrine in the area, he told me what each area was for. When I asked if I could wish/pray at one of the areas, he was more than happy to help me do it right. From cleansing myself with the water, to providing me with a coin, and showing me how to bow and clap properly. It was a beautiful experience. If you’re in Shinjuku or the surrounding areas do yourself a favor and book this tour! Thank you Yuki for being so welcoming and being such an amazing part of my first trip to Japan.

Worth the tour
Very interesting hearing so much history. Do not, however, go on a Monday as the local shops they say you will see are closed. That was disappointing, but recovered as we were here in April and got to see the Azeala festival at one of the many shrines we saw. Yoshida was a great tour guide showing us a few things we would never have seen on our own
