Don’t miss this tour with Luca!

Amazing tour with Luca! He was on time, confirmed our tour in advance and answered the phone when we needed to connect with him. He enthusiastically showed us parts of the real Rome that would otherwise have not seen or known about. He also treated us to delicious gelato at one of the oldest Roman bars around. Luca’s car is beautiful and fun and to drive around in. He made it a point to take photos of us at several sights, some with his adorable car! He gave us tips for lunch and dinner that only a true Roman guide would know. We had a fabulous time on his tour and highly recommend it to anyone who wants to tour Rome with a guide who is both professional and nice!

This tour is a great way to see the highlights of Rome quickly, with a knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful guide. Massimo exceeded our expectations and we had a blast seeing so many highlights and also some very memorable hidden gems. We had plans to see the Colosseum the following day so he added a couple of other stops that were fantastic. An exceptional tour of the highlights of Rome. Note, we booked a driver not a tour guide. However, our personal driver, Loretta, explained to us the fascinating history of many monuments of Rome. Her professionalism and beautiful personality is truly an awesome combination. Loretta ensured the day was well-structured to give us time to spend at each site, but without wasting time hanging around. We can only describe it as the perfect tour. If you want to see several sites and understand some of the less obvious background knowledge of Rome, Loretta is just the person; she is superb. We were equally impressed with her expert ability to safely and efficiently navigate the busy roads of Rome. We loved every minute of this tour! Loretta, sei semplicemente la migliore. Note: If you want to spend a lot of time at different sites such as queuing and going in the within the internal area of the Colosseum, you will need to be realistic about the time you have available. This tour is ideal for seeing several key sites - 'a taste of Rome'.

Perfect one day highlights!

We had a great experience with Carlo and Alexandra. As soon as we stepped out of the cruise terminal we sat Carlo and he starts the tour pretty much as soon as you leave. For the hour long drive to Rome he gave us so much information. We managed to see so many must see places I was really impressed. Alexandra was a fantastic guide at the Colosseum, Vatican Museum, and Sistine Chapel. She managed to keep our 13 year twins engaged in the tours as well. Loved the local pizza place they suggested for lunch. Delicious! A jammed pack day of sightseeing.

Nikolai and Andreas arrived at our hotel early and on time to pick us up. We did not have to wonder where they were. Also, we were picked up in a Mercedes van that was very neat and clean. What a nice vehicle to be taken around Rome for our tour! We were taken to several tourist attractions in one day which we would never had been able to accomplish on our own without Nikolai and his ability to navigate these landmarks. We saw the best parts of these attractions because Nikolai knew how to swiftly get us to these places. He personalized our tour to our requests. For instance, we were dropped off at the Vatican at our designated ticket time. We walked a major portion of the Vatican grounds and had our car pick us up at the exit. Very convenient. We would never have seen all 7 sites of our tour had we not booked this private tour. It was well worth the cost based on the time we had in Rome. We had the next day to ourselves and Nikolai provided several suggestions on what we could to on our own for that 2nd day.

Where do we even begin? From start to finish, this was an absolutely exceptional touring experience and one our whole family will be talking about for years. Nicola, our guide, was a standout in every sense. Over the course of a full 8-hour day, he kept us completely engaged with his incredible depth of knowledge, fantastic sense of humor, and genuine warmth. What really set him apart was how intentional he was about including our boys in the conversation. He made the history and the sights come alive for them in a way that was age-appropriate and fun, not just a lecture for the adults. His tidbits about each stop were the kind of insider details you simply won't find in a guidebook. Beyond the sights, Nicola went above and beyond with practical help, recommending the perfect spot for lunch, helping us navigate the menu, and making sure everyone at the table got exactly what they wanted. He also kept a sharp eye on the clock, making sure we departed in time to hit everything on our agenda without feeling rushed. Stefano, our driver, was equally impressive. Professional, personable, and genuinely funny, he made the time between stops a pleasure. He consistently got us as close as humanly possible to each destination, dropping us off and picking us up right at the door, which made a huge difference over the course of a long day. The coordination between Nicola and Stefano was seamless. It was clear they operate as a true team, and it showed in how smoothly the entire day flowed. We would recommend this tour without any hesitation, and our family is already planning to book with them again on our next trip. Five stars, easily.

We paid for a small group...

We paid for a small group of 6 tour & ended up with a group of 14 as we were joined by another car of 8. They were late which delayed our excursion start by about 30 minutes & I was very disappointed that I thought we had paid for a group of 6 to tour with & had a larger group to maneuver about Rome with.... (was delayed twice because of the 2nd group). The tour guide & our tour of Rome was excellent. (I would like some clarification about the tour changing from 6 to 14 people - I would recommend the excursion but not sure about the small group if it means you are going to be joined with other small groups. This was not what I thought we were paying extra for??? I really feel like we should get some money back for the larger tour group &/or that it should be mentioned in the description that it is a car for 6 & not a tour group of 6 you are paying for.... Again, The tour guide & the tour of Rome was excellent.

Simple to do and perfect service

We only did this last minute as we had a few hours to kill in Rome before flight home. Literally outside the door of the station and can’t miss it. Right next to where we caught the bus back to airport so was so so easy. Straight in and no issues. Even left a jacket with them strapped to case and they were fine
