- A single van is used for up to seven people. For groups over seven people two Mercedes vans are used. A single guide is used for each individual group regardless of the number of people.
- Our office will purchase your Colosseum and Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica skip-the-line tickets. Your tour guide will have your tickets. Tickets to be paid only cash directly to your guide.
- Due to the high demand for tickets, availability to visit the Colosseum and Vatican Museums will only be confirmed once the tour has been booked. In case of lack of tickets it will still be possible to take the tour but with other destinations.

Easy access from our ship. Our driver, Stephano, was knowledgeable and very safe. Patricia, our tour guide, was just like another family member. She was delightfully funny and extremely knowledgeable especially avoiding crowds. We enjoyed this tour so much, we arranged for another private tour in the next City!

Nikoli was an exceptional tour guide! He was flexible with our family (we had 3 young kids with us). He was extremely informative, fun, and easy-going. We got so many great insights into the history of Rome, and we thoroughly enjoyed having him with us for the day. We will definitely call him next time we visit Rome.

This was an excellent trip. Andrea was the driver and Nicola was the guide. They picked us up at the hotel and were on time. They were both very friendly and accommodating. Nicola has a fantastic personality and was born in Rome. He is an excellent Historian as well which made the tour intriguing all the way through. We learned so much on this trip about the Vatican, art, artists, museums, and all the historical sites we visited. And we learned about Rome along the way to our destinations. It was myself, husband, and our 25 and 23 year old son and daughter, (and they LOVED IT!). They actually said they wished we booked Nicola for all of our tours because he was that good and entertaining. Access was simplified, not waiting in long lines was great, and a personalized experience is the only way to go. In a short time we maximized the highlights of Rome. I highly reccommend this tour and guide. We had fun and a lot of laughs.

Patricia & Mauricio did a fantastic job getting us to most of our stops. We had to skip a few because of crowds and time constraints but Patricia was so very knowledgeable on the history of Rome & its many historical sites.
The little restaurant that Patricia recommended for lunch, Osteria del Pontefici, was authentic. & delicious with fresh, homemade food; especially the pasta.

This was an amazing experience and well worth the money. We went so many places in a day and our tour guide and driver were the best! We went two adults four kids ages 11-17 . We saw so many sites, ate a great lunch and for just a bit more money than we would of spent on a cruise ship tour but that would of had far more people and saw far fewer sites . It’s worth the money to maximize your time in Rome .

Great experience. Our tour guides Nicola and Tanya were very knowledgeable and personable. Our driver Max was a very good driver and quite prompt picking us up at our stops. We packed a great deal into our 10 hours, including the Pantheon, Colosseum, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, and were able to customize the tour to our interests. It was a terrific overview of Rome and left us wanting more.

This was the first time we ever booked an excursion not provided by a cruise line and I didnt know what I was missing. This was by far the best excursion my family has ever taken. Our guide Patrizia had so much knowledge of Rome it was astounding. She also helped us through the city with ease .. it felt like we.were VIPs. Our driver Stefano made sure that we didnt even realize that the city was dealing with traffic issues until we heard complaints from other cruise passengers back on board the ship. Having a car waiting right outside each location, air conditioning blasting was like.heavan. We were really spoiled!

Great experience. Very accommodating to our pace. We have an elderly mom, who has trouble walking and Stefan, our driver, was sweet to her and got us close to the attractions we were visiting. Our guide, Azurra, was extremely knowledgeable and also very sweet to our elderly mother. We had a wonderful lunch at a place Azurra recommended. Skipping the line was amazing at the Vatican, the Colosseum, and the Pantheon. It was very hot the day we went, but this service made it manageable. The day we went they closed St. Peter’s Basilica for the Jubilee of the Priests and the operator of the service called the day before to let us know. I appreciated the operator letting us know ahead of time. Stefan and Azurra did their best to get us in, but it was impossible. This was out of their hands. I completely understand that things like this happen. The reason I even put this in the review is because they were honest about it and they did their best to make the situation as good as possible. We still went to St. Peter’s square, which was great and Azurra told us so much information about the square. We loved it and would recommend it to anyone and will do it again when we return.

Our driver for the day, Stephano, was an absolute joy to be with. He was on time to pick us up at the port exit with a sign with our name. He provided great commentary on sites we were driving by to get to Rome from the port, both historical and newer sites. He was also waiting for us in a convenient location after every place we visited with a cooled vehicle to shuttle us to our next stop.
Stephano also took us to a great local restaurant where they treated us like family and Stephano was like our host; making sure the restaurant attended to our every need, including a gluten free members of our family.
Our guides, Sylvia and Valentina, were also very knowledgeable of the sites we visited and were able to answer any questions we had, although the initial information they provided about the sites we visited were so informative, we did not have too many questions!
Would definitely recommend this tour, and DEFINITELY ask for Stephano to be your driver for the day!!

Mini our guide was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about the places we toured. He was so efficient in assuring we did not stand in line excepted when absolutely necessary, but not for long. We completely recommend Miki as our guide.

Amazing trip was done at high speed yet still very informative. I could not recommend this group enough. We had the best driver as well. Max got us in and out and through the city with ease to allow our guys to take us to the front of the line we paid for the Skip the line behind the scene stuff and it was well worth it. Max was the rockstar though.

It was our best excursion so far of our entire cruise! I highly recommend it! It was first class the entire excursion. First, our driver, Stefano, was already waiting for us when we disembarked from our ship with a big sign with my full name on it. He looked very handsome in his suit and had a black Mercedes new van for us 4. He took us directly to Rome where we met our guide, Patricia Ghirardelli, who brought us to a cafe to get a little back and use the restroom before we started. We then went to see the Pantheon, the Coliseum, Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter’s Cathedral. Stefano drove right up to all of these sights, the closest to the actual sights I’ve ever seen (I’ve been here twice before), and Patricia took us directly to each site, skipping every line and even getting us in private entrances which saved us hours of waiting time, because she knew all the people that worked at the sites due to her 35 years in the field. We saw sites that would have taken at least 3 days to see otherwise. Patricia was extremely knowledgeable! We’re so glad we went on this private tour rather than an excursion on a bus through the cruise ship. My daughter is coming to Rome next year and I’m recommending Patricia and Stefano to her. Thank you all for such a great and memorable excursion!!

With Patricia Ghirardelli as our guide and Max as our driver, we got an up-close view of The Eternal City without waiting in eternally long lines! Patricia made the history and significance of Rome’s Pantheon, Coliseum, and Vatican Museums come alive for us. She introduced us to some deliciously authentic foods as well. She even gave us coins to toss in the Trevi Fountain! When in Rome, book a private tour and get the real deal!

Patricia and Stephano are an amazing team We had a great day as we toured Rome, particularly the Colosseum, Pantheon, St Peter’s Square and the Basilica and sights and details in between
Patricia is so incredibly knowledgable of the art and history. They are so personable that I felt I would miss my friends after spending 2 days with them
They obviously enjoy their work.
They were so accommodating, even finding and escorting me to an ATM machine.
She was so extremely compassionate when dealing with my husband’s mobility issues.
The tour was set to our expectations and tolerance. Patricia made excellent lunch suggestions so we could experience authentic Roman meals.
I can not say enough positive comments about this team. We have been on multiple excursions over the years and this was the best!

Family of 5: 2 adults, 3 teenage boys. We visited Rome in 100 degree heat with only 1 day (from cruise ship). The driver was punctional, friendly, ready for us with a sign right when we got off the ship. The van was comfortable and had AC! The driver drove us around safely and was there at the end of each stop with AC running which was greatly appreciated!!! The tour guide was entertaining, knowledgeable and showed us all the highlights of Rome!!! We would have NEVER been able to see all the highlights without him!!!! The tour was expensive but worth it if you are on a limited schedule. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour if you are coming in from a cruise and have limited time. This tour will take you to EVERYTHING you want to see. Book it!!

This tour is fantastic. We were met by Steffan precisely at 0730, at the exit from our ship. The vehicle was great, a Merc van that sat 9. We picked up our guide, Maria in town and still had some time to spare before getting started. We stopped by an intimate Cafe and had coffee and pastries, while discussing our itinerary.
Steffan did a great job navigating traffic and moving us between sites. Maria was so knowledgeable about everything, but didn't overdue it. She spent just the right amount of time at various locations, providing lots of history and details. We moved through crowds easily, despite lots of foot traffic and vehicle traffic. We'd been to the Coloseum before and did the self guided tour. This was so much better and we learned and saw so much more.
Maria and Steffan communicated seamlessly, with Steffan always pulling up close to each venue to pick us up. This limited a lot of the walking, and allowed us to see way more things compared to trying to move around on your own.
We were unlucky with the date our ship stopped in Rome, being June 29th, a Christian holiday, so the Vatican, SP Bascilica, etc were closed. We made the most of it, spending a little more time than probably normal at each site.
After sites, we were taken a bit outside of town to an amazing restaurant, where the host met us outside and immediately directed us to our table. For 23 euro each, then then brought at least 10 small plates of various apps, a pizza, two different pasta servings, a full carafe of wine, and lemon cello. It was delicious, and well deserved as we did a lot of walking.
We made it back to port with time to spare. We'll worth the price and an all the way around great tour and experience.

Wow this was an incredible experience and a great tour! It was so well planned and executed. This was by far the very best tour we’ve ever been on.
Nicola was our tour guide in the city. He was an absolute pleasure to be with. His knowledge is amazing, and he brings history and meaning to everything you see. He paints the picture of what happened when, why, and how. I learned a great deal on this tour.
Nicola also helped us choose a place for lunch. It was the most amazing meal. He even coordinated with the restaurant to make sure we were ready to go on time.
The way Nicola choreographed our journey with Tanya our driver was so impressive. Tanya is such a pro! I couldn’t believe how she navigated the streets, the traffic, the people! I would ride with her in any car in any city! We would get out to go see a site. We’d come out and there was Tanya with the car ready to take us to the next location. So great!
Daniel was our guide for the Vatican City. Again he was an absolute pleasure. Extremely knowledgeable. Knew exactly where to go and what to do to navigate the city.
This tour was absolutely perfect! Nicola, Tanya, and Daniel are truly professionals. I’m so glad we chose this tour. I can’t wait to go back to Rome to experience some more. This tour is worth every single dollar spent!! I can’t be more clear about this point. They take very good care of you and are with you all day.

The driver was very nice. Very quiet but also very friendly. Google translate helped us communicate. Alessandra was an amazing guide. Incredibly knowledgeable and shared her incredible wealth of l classical, local and national history. They took us to their favorite osteria where we had an amazing lunch. Only down side is that lunch was long and we did not get to Trevi fountain but that was a worthwhile tradeoff for us. What a great tour!!!

Some say you can’t see Rome in a day, but those people didn’t have Illauria and Ernesto as their guides. We conquered the city in 8 hours! The Pantheon was first. Illauria started the tour with a wealth of knowledge! Next, we made wishes in the Trevi Fountain, grabbed some gelato, and made it to the colosseum. The lines were not a problem and she had our tickets ready. We stopped for lunch at an amazing little restaurant. The staff loved the kids, the food was amazing, and the restaurant was clean!! Even though we only spoke a little Italian, my daughter was able to get a free lollipop. The last stop was the Vatican City. Luck was on our side as we walked without crowds through the museums, St. Peter’s Basilica, and the Sistine Chapel. We left the day with many photos and a wealth of knowledge! It was an awesome day. Our group ranged from ages 6-76. The tour was expensive, but it was 100% worth it!

Smooth pickup in the morning from our crew ship port, they took us in a private van into Rome with a stop along the way for pictures, then met up with our tour guide to see the sites around Rome. Always nice to have a driver and guide coordinating pickups when needed to take you to the next destination. Maria was a great and informative guide who hit all the spots we wanted and Marco was an entertaining driver. We loved every minute. We decided on a sit down lunch but that turned out to be a mistake as the restaurant was incredibly slow and took too much of our site seeing time. Grab and go is best, next time we’ll know better or choose a better restaurant. Despite being a crowded holiday in Rome and having limited time, we enjoyed the tour immensely. Highly recommended!

Our guide, Valentina, and driver, Marco, made us feel like the most important guests ever. We took the tour the day of our cruise disembarkation and got to see everything in Rome with such interesting information provided at each site and all of our questions answered. At the end of the day we were dropped off with our bags off at our hotel. We couldn’t have asked for more!
Also, our daughter has celiac disease and Marco arranged for us to have lunch at a restaurant that was wonderful (seriously amazing pizza!) and celiac disease capable.
It was a perfect day in Rome thanks to these two amazing people. Highly,

It was probably our best tour ever. Marco, our driver went above and beyond. He went out of his way to accommodate. We were able to see everything and much more than we expected. Our tour guide was the best ever. Very bubbly and outgoing. She was so knowledgable on every topic. My Grandsons appreciated things that I never thought they would care about. Can’t stop talking about it.

This tour was worth every penny! We got off the cruise ship and the driver was waiting for us. After loading all our luggage we went to the Parthenon, a gorgeous church, the Spanish steps, the colosseum and the Trevi fountain - ALL BEFORE LUNCH! Then we had an amazing lunch at a restaurant that included appetizer, pizza, pasta, wine and dessert. After lunch we went to the Vatican and saw the museums, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter's Basilica before being dropped off at our hotel. All of this with both a driver and an extremely knowledgeable tour guide with us the entire day. It was really incredible! I can't recommend this tour highly enough - especially if you only have one day in Rome like we did.
