Transfers from Rome to Civitavecchia Port For all departures from Rome to Civitavecchia Port, please always provide the exact pick-up address and the name of your cruise ship, as the driver will drop you off directly at the ship terminal. Driver arrived early which was great as we were ready and waiting. He was very polite and helpful with the suitcases. Both suitcases and one carryon fit in the boot while the other carryon was on the front passenger seat. The trip was seamless and quick. Civitavecchia Port is still very difficult to navigate as it was 16 years ago, and I’m pleased we booked a car to take us. The vehicle was very comfortable and clean.

Easy, comfortable , painless ending to out cruise with kids. We had to change time a few days before and it was very easy to communicate through the app. They were very accommodating . The driver was already waiting for us with a sign and waled us to the van with carseats already installed. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a smooth transfer from port to hotel. Definitely excellent !

Our driver was at least 10 minutes early and waiting for us in the hotel lobby. He was also helpful. He carried our luggage and the drive was smooth! Was very impressed with the level of service! Wonderful experience!

Driver showed up 30 minutes early and I asked him to take it slow from hotel to cruise port, he didnt.
Driver on the 200 meter causeway from the land to the cruise terminal decided to floor the gas while only 12 feet apart from the van in front and then slammed on the brakes. It sent my flying across the minivan.

We are sorry to read your review and to learn that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we feel it is important to clarify several points, as the facts differ significantly from the account provided in your review.
First, we have checked the GPS records of the vehicle, and they clearly show that the speed never exceeded 100 km/h during the journey.
Regarding the pickup, it is true that the driver arrived slightly earlier than scheduled. He simply informed you that he was already at the location and that you could depart at your convenience. At no point were you rushed or pressured to leave before the agreed time. This has also been confirmed by the hotel's receptionist.
As for the sudden braking you mentioned, our vehicles are new Mercedes-Benz models equipped with advanced safety systems, including automatic emergency braking assistance. In certain situations, the system can intervene automatically when it detects a potential hazard. Therefore, the braking action was not manually initiated by the driver but by the vehicle's safety system as designed.
The incident you referred to occurred within the port area, where the speed limit is 20 km/h. The vehicle was traveling at a very low speed, practically at walking pace.
For this reason, it is difficult to understand how such a braking event could have caused you to be thrown from one side of the minivan to the other. Furthermore, our driver clearly instructed all passengers to wear their seat belts before departure, as required by Italian law. Unfortunately, this instruction was not followed. Wearing a seat belt is mandatory and represents one of the most important safety measures for all passengers. Had you been wearing your seat belt as instructed, it is highly unlikely that you would have experienced the movement you described or been thrown across the vehicle following the braking event.
We genuinely regret that you had a negative perception of the service. However, we also believe it is important to present the facts accurately and transparently based on the information and records available to us.

Alessandro was fantastic. He arrived early but no problem waiting for us. Very personable and knowledgeable. Took us right to our ship's check-in terminal vs us having to walk as most services cannot get in that close. Highly recommend the service, although it is a bit expensive.
