Stefano communicated with me a few days before our scheduled tour.
He was wailing for us at the accorded lace and gave us a fabulous tour of Rome.

Rosario was the best guide for someone like my husband who had never been to Rome before. He has some walking issues (can't go too far at one time without severe back pain) and Rosario got us as close to the sights we were visiting as possible. He was very flexible and took us around Rome by going through so many narrow streets and passages that we were completely amazed! He arranged for our lunch at an incredible restaurant in Piazza Navona and gave us so many insights into the city of Rome that we never could have discovered on our own. I highly recommend Rosario for the best tour of Rome ever!

The itinerary is arbitrary. The true experience worth paying for is the driver. Rosario had a friendly sunny disposition the whole time. He aimed to please and allowed extreme flexibility in our schedule. Since we'd already hit 3 of the sights mentioned I informed the tour company about this beforehand and made requests for where we'd rather go. Needless to say, he would have made any sights we needed to see work within the time frame. We were on a cruise and absolutely had to be back at Port at a particular time. So if you book this tour don't do it for the stops mentioned (unless you WANT to stick to the plan of course.) since these can be tailored to what YOU need. Book it because of the drivers impeccable time keeping, reliability and aim to meet your needs as the tourist. We had great fun on this tour and would happily recommend it to anyone.

The van was a bit old but the driver was friendly. Rome was very crowded and it was not easy for my mom who was in a scooter.

Bruno was an awesome driver/guide.
He took us to all the sights we requested. Right to the best drop off spot. Knew all the shortcuts. Very pleasant. Took us to an awesome local restaurant. Beautiful setting with great pizza and pasta and not too expensive. Would gladly do it again with Bruno.

When you book excursions like this one, you are really depending on a company to accurately pick you up from a ship at an exact time and get you back on time. Sadly, that was NOT our experience. After correctly filling out all of our information and even confirming with them the day before, we got off of our ship in Rome to no driver. We had also booked photos in Rome with a photographer so we all stood there in our nice clothes on the doc in a panic over where our driver could be. After wandering around I FINALLY got a bar of cell service enough to call the company and after several calls, I found out that they had sent our driver to the WRONG SHIP. So we were finally picked up almost TWO HOURS LATE. This also caused our photographer to have to charge us for time he had to sit in the middle of Rome waiting for us. Our driver did not want to drive into more touristy areas because of the extra few minutes she would have to be in traffic, so each time we needed to be picked up we had to walk MUCH further with our toddlers and kids in the summer heat than was necessary. We watched lots of other people be picked up in areas where she refused to drive up to. After the whole experience we requested a partial refund to cover what we had to pay the photographer due to the company's error and were denied any refund. So we lost two hours of time on our one day in Rome, started the whole experience with complete chaos and confusion, lost lots of money having to pay the photographer extra, had a driver who was not trying to make our trip any easier, and ended up stressed and tired. Every single other shore excursion we booked on our trip was wonderful, so this was really heart breaking because we wanted Rome to be a great experience too. Book through someone else who you can depend on.

The mistake was mine that I gave the driver the name of another cruise which was 40 meters away. We had spoken and more than once I repeated to you that the driver was waiting on that ship and repeated to me that you couldn't find him. The tour started with 40 minutes late.In each tour we put the maximum so that you spend a unique day,if the other side does not recognize this,as you did not mention the fact that at the end of the tour you lost phone in the car and after your call in 5 minutes we brought it back.

Trevi fountain and the Colosseum were our two favorites! Our driver Sara was amazing. It took a little time to find her but once we did we left! However when we got to the colosseum which I had another Viator ticket for they changed the time without calling. They sent a what’s AP but had said they would call with change. We missed the new time and the agency we used for that finally gave us a time later. We immediately called Sara. She returned. We r ordered our day and say most of what we wanted! I strongly recommend doing a private driver.

Great driver (Bruno) was very friendly and took us to all the main attractions plus a couple of out of the way spots. He was very knowledgeable on history etc. which bought the trip to life
Have done the same trip by train in the past and the cost was an investment by making the Rome trip so much easier and enjoyable

This is the worst company and I will never recommend them to anyone. I booked a private tour of Rome for a family or four and what we got was a taxi service, pick up and drop off!! Very disappointed in the service. The driver barely spoke English and all we got to see was the Vatican and the colesium. When I called Viator they refused to give us a partial refund. This was a total ripoff and I will never recommend that company to any one. Very disappointed in Viator and the people they work with!!

Bruno was great! He arrived to pick us up from our ship on debarkation day, helped us with luggage and took us into Rome with great stories of local culture, history and food. He took us to each site (with tips on best ways to view) and we were always within one block or less to walk to, and was promptly there to pick us up when we were done. Thank you Bruno for our whirlwind Rome in a day tour. We look forward to coming back and with more time to experience the art and culture of this beautiful eternal city!

Our guide was fantastic. Asked right away if we had scheduled tickets so we didn’t miss anything. Hit all the sights we wanted to see and a couple more including an amazing overlook of Rome to end our amazing day. Recommended an delicious cafe near the Trevi Fountain for lunch. Our guide was super easy to find right at the terminal and spoke with any guides or tours we were on to arrange easy pickup. Absolutely the least stressful day of excursions the entire cruise. We were able to relax and it was amazing after our train disaster in Florence the previous day. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate our anniversary in Rome in the best way possible.

There were 4 of us- and our driver/ tour guide Luigi met us promptly. All in all we had a great time. If I had to do it again- I’d find a tour company that handled the tour tickets to the Colosseum and Vatican inclusive. We had an issue at the Colosseum with our tour causing us to miss the Vatican (President Putin was there, which compounded the situation). We spoke to other guests whose tour companies handled the tickets, and they switched their itineraries due to Putin’s visit. Those guests were able to see their destinations, as the company was able to acquire tour tickets at the time that they arrived.
This company did not handle the tickets for me- I acquired myself.
Luigi found a great spot for lunch and stopped at several spots including the Trevi Fountain.
