Poalo was very friendly and helpful. He speaks 4 languages very well and gave us tips on when to try and go into the historic landmarks we visited within the time constraints. We only had 45 minutes per the church and colosseum and 1/2 hour at the outdoor sites and extremely long lines made going inside unattainable. He was a good driver and got us very close to the attractions. If you want to see a lot of great spots in a little time- this is for you!

Paolo was a spectacular tour guide he took us through all the historical sites in Rome. We even got to see the Pope. He took us through every nook and cranny and took us to a fantastic restaurant. Was perfect for our day. His vehicle was clean and very spacious Paolo really knew how to find every place With ease. Paulo was one of the best tour guys we’ve ever had. Simple but nice tour. Perfect tour if you want to explore on your own. Tour guide was great and very informational. The sites visited were very historical and we spent just enough time at each. Very good priced and comes highly recommended.

A horrible experience, it was just a cab driver taking us around to different places, the driver will drop us off several blocks away from the excursion site and will point us where to walk too , no explanation how to get into site , we didn’t speak Italian , we were supposed to see many sites we only saw 4 sites that was listed , the driver was driving like a mad man driving over 140k per hour , I paid over $1200 for the day , not what we expected

The tour itself was enjoyable, and we really liked the flexibility of the hop-on/hop-off format and liked being about to hit all the top tourist spots. However, we found ourselves wishing for more time at some stops and less at others. Unfortunately, our experience got off to a rough start when our driver was delayed at the cruise port — apparently, he had lost his access privileges and was stopped by security. There was no communication with us about what was going on as we just sat in the van while he was being questioned by security. This held us up for about 45 minutes, which cut into our time later on. As a result, we only had 45 minutes at St. Peter's Basilica. We made it right to the door before having to turn back, which was really disappointing since we didn’t get to go inside. Without that delay, we likely would’ve had enough time to experience it properly, even an extra 15 minutes would have been ideal.

This was a good deal for us, we got picked up at ship port, traveled to Rome then taken to most of important historic sites with little walking and plenty of time to view each and finally were delivered to our Rome hotel with our suitcases. Paulo was considerate, friendly and a good driver, he gave us a great tour and transfer. Thanks Paulo!

Taking in the sights of Rome with Mattia in the driver's seat is the way to go! He got us to our sights, let us wander on our own and got us to and from our cruise shop on time! Wish we only had more time to explore!

The driver was nice, but the tour felt extremely rushed (30-15 minutes at each stop). It’s purely a hop on and hop off type of shuttle but not at your own leisure. No narration or guide on the places we were seeing.

Good tour to see all the major sights in Rome. Group of 8 was perfect and driver/guide excellent. A little chaotic at first with a change of drivers at port entrance and a delay. Our driver rearranged the order of sightseeing because of political and religious events in the city. He made sure we saw everything and got us back to our ship in good time.

First and foremost, our tour guide was 30 minutes late, I had to call Viator to find out what was going on.
When the tour guide finally arrived, he half heartily held up a sign with our names on it, l and never apologize for his tardiness.
Then once in the tour van, there was a argument between two separate families on how the information in Rome will be given regularly: whether in the language of English or Russian and that continued pretty much the entire tour and the tour guide didn't say anything but just let it happen.
There was so many other different things.However , just to conclude , this tour was the waste of my time and money.

Marcello was our driver and guide and he was great. Good sense of humour and very patient with our questions. His English was very good. This tour is what we call a “high speed pass” around Rome - you get a few minutes at most of the sites and then you’re off to the next. We used it as an introduction to Rome. We did stop for lunch which was great - nice to have a break and the food was good.

We were not and he told us he did not like Rome . His mood was up and down.He made unkind statements to my sistsr and myself.

This tour was ok for transportation to Rome from the cruise port and back. Although we stopped for free time at a few locations I would have liked to have a stop at the Circus Maximus.

Driver arrived exactly on time, collected further passengers from two other pick up points and proceeded onwards to Rome. Unfortunately for him it transpired that the Rome Marathon was taking place, making his job negotiating city centre well nigh impossible but he did extremely well getting us as close as possible to the attractions. For extra charge he took us onwards to our required drop off. Alas he gave us virtually no commentary or advice about where we were or what we could see

Most memorable experience in Rome was being there, the beauty of Ancient Rome, even though there is much renovation going on it’s still espectacular! Also 5 star to our driver guide Francisco, whom picked us up at the port and gave us the tour of highlights!

Our tour guide was terrible. He spoke very little English, he just pointed to a place. He did not give us bathroom time, time to eat and he was very crabby. We had difficulty finding places.

Great excursion covering the high points in Rome. In a small group of 8 people, we traveled in an air-conditioned van a little over an hour to Rome. We saw the Trevi Fountain the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, Saint Peters's Basilica, Piazza Venezia, and stopped for photo opportunities. We had time to shop and grab some refreshments near the Trevi Fountain. It was the perfect way to see a lot in short time frame/cruise port. Our guide was friendly and offered to take photos at each location. An efficient /affordable way to see the highlights in Rome on a cruise stop. Would highly recommend.

This is a great option for those who have never been in Rome (me). You get to visit the main places in the city and they drop you off very close to the attractions (no time to go inside, don’t expect that)

We loved Marcello. He was a ton of fun and a super guide. It was a super tour, except for the fact that the tour was advertised as having skip the line tickets for the Coliseum, which wasn't the case. Please send me a refund for three skip the line tickets for the Coliseum.

A great way to maximise the cruise stop by air conditioned minibus into and around Rome. We enjoyed the recorded information which we could listen to between stops. Our guide was helpful and pointed out things we would otherwise have missed. It was a wonderful day.

Driver/ guide picked us up at the port. He small group was a total of 7. We drove to Rome and would stop for a few minutes at the major sightseeing monuments. It was terribly hot and crowded. I felt so much to have an air conditioned van waiting for me. This is a good option if you are not planning to see the Vatican Museum or St. Peter’s Basikica. This is basically a very convenient Hop and Off. I found that the value was great because transport to Rome is expensive and then you have yo pay for the hop and off. He also gives you clear directions of where everything is.
