What are people saying about Rome

Our tour guide Nina was...
Our tour guide Nina was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and entertaining. I’m so glad we did the Roman forum because she explained everything and we were fascinated to learn even more than the colosseum. The only thing worth mentioning would be the coordinates we were given does not match the exact location to meet so make sure you read your tickets well. A suggestion would be to have an employee from “tour guy” to meet at the coordinates and direct people downstairs to the meeting point. That was my only concern. Thank you for a great day Nina!

7:30am tour with Jeanette- Game Changer!
If you can book this tour with Jeanette-do it!! Very well educated woman who is incredibly engaging- when do you get lucky enough to get that combination!! Incredibly knowledgeable but with 2 masters in Art History it’s what you would expect. What we did not expect was the ability to explain to us lay people without making us feel stupid! She answered questions, “read the room” with various words and received comments with no judgement and appreciation. The tour at 7:30 am was a game changer and in the 100 degree heat, enabled us to be in salons without many bodies- we were able to take in this incredible space. Thank you, Jeanette!

Pam keeps you cool on colosseum tours despite the heat
Our guide, Pam, was exceptional with her extensive knowledge of roman history and the colosseum. She was also very kind to keep us in the shade as much as possible during the tour. She made it thoroughly enjoyable and engaging, despite the oppressive heat and I highly recommend her and livtours.

Visiting the Colosseum,...
Visiting the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill was one of the highlights of our trip to Rome! The Colosseum was absolutely incredible to see in person, and having access to the arena floor made the experience even more special. Standing where gladiators once stood and looking up at the Colosseum from the arena was truly unforgettable. Exploring the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill was equally fascinating. Walking among the ancient ruins and seeing the places where so much of Roman history unfolded really brought the past to life. Palatine Hill also offered beautiful views over Rome and the surrounding archaeological sites. The combination of history, architecture, and the opportunity to experience the Colosseum from the arena floor made this visit truly memorable. I would highly recommend visiting the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, especially with arena floor access. It was one of the best experiences of our trip to Rome!

When it comes to history, Rome is in a league of its own. That’s why even the most well-read history buff can find the Eternal City overwhelming, especially on their first visit. Fortunately, Rome historical tours help you cover serious ground, thanks to seasoned guides who know how to head underground at the Colosseum, where to take the best photos of St. Peter’s Basilica, and when to visit Palatine Hill to avoid the crowds. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but on a tour that includes transportation, audio guides, and skip-the-line tickets, you can easily cover its most iconic landmarks in one day.
