Such a fun family activity! The pasta and gelato making class was well-paced, and we loved that we got to take the recipes home to try again. Marco was a fantastic teacher and even shared some great local recommendations. Highly recommend!

This class was so much fun! Our instructor Christiana was engaging and you can tell she loves what she’s does. We had a small group with people from all over. There’s nothing better than homemade pizza and gelato. I had no idea gelato was so easy to make!! I would definitely recommend this class.

What To Expect

Your epicurean experience begins on Corso del Rinascimento, where the In Rome cookery school is located in a historic 17th-century building. On arrival, you’ll greet your professional pizza chef and receive an overview of Roman culinary traditions.

Then, apron donned, set about preparing your pizza dough in a comfortable, home-like setting. Under the instruction of your chef, mix flour, yeast, and water to create the perfect consistency, and then top your pizza with personalized ingredients, all of the highest quality.

Once your pizza has baked, sit down with your fellow food lovers and feast on the fruits of your labor. Pleasure your palate with Italian appetizers and drinks, and then conclude your meal with delicious gelato – the perfect finish to this traditional feast!

Great experience. Chef is a true chef. He emphasizes the artistic side of cooking as well as the scientific side. We have never had such an experience at home in the US, and we've taken plenty of classes over the years.

This was an absolute highlight of our time in Rome. Wonderful Chef Giulio walked us through making pizza and gelato (vanilla and chocolate). We all agreed it was one of the best meals we had while in Italy. Also, fantastic appetizers and wine. 10/10 recommend. Our 12year old loved it as did my mom. Great family experience.

This class was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. Fabio and Fabio were amazing! Super knowledgeable and patient. We learned a ton and the food was delicious....and we made it! Franco was great! We shared a class with another family of four, a few steps away from Piazza Navona. We learned a lot of tips and tricks about making gelato/pizza, and the kids loved it! The kitchen was clean and the class was well organized… also, the glass of wine for the adults is a nice touch with the pizza. Highly recommend this experience for a family with young children.

This venue is super, professional kitchen with beautiful interior design. Chef David is very knowledgeable. My son and I learnt lots of pizza and gelato making tips from him. We are so happy we chose this class! Highly recommend. Can not wait to make pizza and gelato at home!

I learned that dough needs to ferment at least 24hrs in the refrigerator, and also a very hot oven. 700 degrees farenheight! And please no pineapples on pizza!!
