My friend and I had a great experience at the Hot spring! Francesco was the perfect guide. He picked us up right on time at our hotel (we even changed the pick up location the night before and there were no issues). Francesco was very welcoming and informative. He made us feel right at home from the very beginning. We first drove to get an Italian breakfast which consisted of a pastry and cappuccino. Then he drove us two hours to the hot spring. I was able to play music of my choice during the car ride which was super nice. We spent about two hours at the spring which was perfect. We were provided water shoes and robes. The spring started to get crowded towards the end of the visit but since we got there early we were able to get a good spot. Lastly we stopped at a traditional Italian restaurant and had a tasty lunch. Overall, this was a lovely experience and Francesco was an amazing guide.

A great way to end your trip

I would recommend bringing a towel to sit around the spar. It is truly a beautiful creation the tempreture was perfect for me not too hot or cold. This tour operator gets you there early so as to avoid the crowds. Our escort Francesco was a true gentleman, very courteious and polite. It was a nice journey through countryside. We stayed at the spar for aprox 3hrs then went to a village resturant for some delucious lunch. It was a great way to end our 7 day tour of Roma. Thank you guys.

Too far and not rewarding

Robes and slippers were provided however they did not ask us sizes. We received 2 robes that were child size and the slippers ( which are water shoes) would not fit on my husbands foot. The thermal spring is a good experience for 1/2 hour and not worth the 2 hour ride. Lunch was fabulous at a local town but not scenic. A fabulous lunch could have been had closer to Rome. Not worth the money nor the loss of a day in Italy.

Thanks for your feedback. We have provided you L and XL bathrobes, and 43-44 EU sized rubber shoes(which are suitable for 42-45 sizes as they are rubber shoes). When you do reservations there is special requirements section, you should give us information of you had specific body and foot sizes, and we could provide special shoes and bathrobes for you. Or you could inform us while at Thermal springs, we could rent from thermals for you your size towels or bathrobes, it is possible to rent at thermals towels too. About too far point, it is closest day trip you can find and do from Rome. 2 hours drive with private(even though you did reservation group tour) minivan (6 seating places and you were just 3) cannot be far for day trip, I don’t know how fast you wanted to reach 175 km . About lunch in local town Manciano , we have clear itinerary where we do stops and where you do lunch. Also driver told you left thermal springs early, as it is your decision to leave whenever you want. We are flexible about your decisions. Manciano is one of most beautiful town in Tuscany region, and way around these areas are full of amazing views. At least i was expecting fair review, door to door pickup and drop off with private car. Breakfast,Lunch included and 9 hours day trip 07:00-15:00(17:00 latest) you be back in rome, which also allow you take more time in Rome and do some other activities in Rome, but you say you wasted your day. Great day driving to Saturna; it was about a two hour drive from Rome; stay awake as it’s a pretty countryside once off the hwy; we stopped for cappuccino and a croissant on way down; we had two hours to float and soak it up; surprised water was not hot ; warm but not hot; then we went to lunch at a nearby town - lunch was wonderful; overall a really great day; Shahand our driver was very kind and gracious as well as a safe driver

Amazing just as advertised, my private driver Sahand Aghajani was the most courteous and accommodating, and breakfast and lunch was exactly what I asked for. The Saturnia Thermal Springs' water was warm, divine and breathtakingly soothing, I did not want to leave!!!

Sahand picked us up from our hotel a few minutes early, super friendly and water bottles ready. He stopped to pick up breakfast along the way ( scrumptious pastry and cappuccino! He expertly navigated the twisty roads with ease-great tunes. playing and air conditioning blasting. When we arrived at our destination, he had robes and water shoes ready in a beach bag for us! Told us to text when we were finished, but to just relax, and enjoy. We sure did! When we were done our day, Sahand greeted us warmly again and drove us to a lovely spot for lunch. Fresh pasta and wine-amazing!! We then relaxed and let him drive us back to the hotel where he dropped us off. Would highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a unique day trip from Rome. Terme di Saturnia is a sight to be hold! Absolutely stunning!! Thank you Sahand!

Relaxing day after our flight into Rome

Our guide Balo was fun and pleasant to talk to during our ride to and from Saturnia. He asked what type of music we wanted to listen to, and we said to play what he liked, and that was enjoyable. We were not really interested in getting into our bathing suits, but we waded through the warm water and took some great pictures. Balo had robes and water shoes for us to enter the water, so it seemed like he thought we did not enjoy ourselves, but we did just what we wanted to do. He stopped to some overlook areas for some special photos, and he even stopped on the side of the road to pick some fresh figs for us to enjoy. While we expected to go to Pitigliano to stroll around and have lunch, we went to the town of Saturnia instead and had some great wine and pasta at a nice outside restaurant with Balo. Overall, it was a lovely, relaxing day.

Tural our guide and his co-worker paid excellent attention to my wife and I and ensure that we were comfortable and ready for the drive from Rome to Saturnia. It is about a two hour car ride. They provided drinks and refreshments. Spent about an hour at the hot springs, then we went on a winding car ride through the Tuscan hills to the town of Pitigliano! Had time to take photos, and ate one our best meals of the trip! The pasta was completely homemade. Their vehicle wasn't a fancy car. So if you want to drive in luxury keep that in mind. But honestly in retrospect made the trip more like being out with a couple of close friends and not a paid tour. I would book this again. They were honestly fun people to go on a long car ride with. Personable and genuinely cared that we were having a good time. They ended the trip with a very kind gift. This part may be their surprise, so I hope I’m not ruining it. A gift basket with wine and other Italian treats!
