Our favorite day!

We had a fabulous day on our tour with Filipe! It was our favorite day of our trip. He is so kind and knowledgable and you can tell he really enjoys what he does! Our trip to Sintra and Cascais was beautiful, and Pena Palace was amazing but it was much more interesting knowing the history behind all the beauty. Filipe took us to lovely, scenic spots for a rest and photos- one of which wasn’t even on the itinerary. He showed us the best places to go for the historic treats and pastries, as well as his recommendations for his favorite lunch spots. We loved the whole trip and highly recommend this day tour. Filipe was the best! One note, make sure to book the tickets for Quinta da Regaleira early! The booking said to let the guide know by 2pm so we waited but they sold out days before the tour so we could only see the outside. Definitely let them know asap if you’re planning to go inside.

Diogo was amazing. He is so passionate about his job but more importantly, he is passionate about being Portuguese and Portugal. And it shows in the way he talks about every location we visited and the places along the way. I learned some interesting history along the way, which I always enjoy. He gives good recommendations for food and places to see along the way when we have a few minutes to spare. We got to see a lot during the tour but it didn’t feel rushed and it felt like we got to see and learn a lot at each location.

Fantastic half day trip to Sintra

This was a well paced half day tour to Sintra. Perfect amount of time to enjoy both Pena Palace and Quinta da Regaleira. We even had 30 min in city centre. Daniel was a friendly, knowledgeable and fantastic tour guide. He was great with our kids! Unfortunately, my daughter got car sick, but Daniel was very accommodating, understanding and helpful throughout. The walking wasn’t too bad either. Walk to Pena Palace was more uphill and challenging than the other walks, but Daniel made strategic breaks along the way. Highly recommend!

Our guide was Philippe, he made everyone feel comfortable. He had a good sense of humour. His knowledge was brilliant and he clearly had a good rapport with the workers of Pena Palace. It was a small group of 8 people, his instructions were clear for where to meet after free time. Would definitely recommend.

The transfer / tour was beyond my expectations. Alfredo provided us with an overview of the itinerary when we first met and helped us adjust some timing to ensure we would arrive in certain towns when shops were open. Alfredo's knowledge and guide performance was exceptional. I felt as though we were treated with "golden gloves" and this started from moment we were picked up in Lisbon to Porto. Alfredo took us to many special look out spots where we would have never gotten to on our own. Introduced us to a excellent restaurant in Nazare where we had a wonderful seafood lunch. He shared stories and insights along the way, while also giving us time to wander alone at our own pace. We never felt rushed. He was extremely thoughtful in helping us find our apartment and gave us an overview of our surroundings to navigate the next few days by foot. I give this experience and Alfredo 5 stars and would definitely recommend this tour to my friends and family.

Sintra day trip

Diogo Nunes was so nice and personable from the moment we met him. He truly loves showing people Sintra, and ensuring you see what you want. He is from Sintra and took us to local restaurant for lunch and stopped for wine/port tasting! We also stopped at local bakery and tried pastries well known in Sintra! We made all the other stops which were awesome! We could not be happier with Diogo and will 100 percent recommend him to anyone we know going to Sintra! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

The tour guide was great, A++ for Anil and the sights I did get to see were great however this is not a tour for anyone with mobility issues. Even when told there was only a little walking it was much more than I was led to believe. I was unable to get to one palace because of uneven ground and all uphill. I stumbled as soon as I got off the shuttle that takes you only about halfway up. If you're able to comfortably walk it is a great tour and the guide had so much great information.

Amazing day!

We had an absolutely wonderful day trip to Sintra and Pena Palace from Lisbon. Everything was perfectly organized — the pickup right in the city center, all transfers between sites, and entrance tickets were all included and went smoothly. The weather was fantastic, which made the experience even more memorable. Our guide Francesco was truly outstanding — incredibly knowledgeable and a great storyteller. What I especially appreciated was that he spoke clearly and engagingly in a way that was easy to follow even for a non-native English speaker like myself. I highly recommend this trip to anyone visiting Lisbon — it’s an experience you don’t want to miss!
