Excellent experience shared with George. Great insight into local culture, history and food. It felt like time shared with an old friend (something George was very passionate about.) Great value for money👌 Would definitely recommend. Next time in Budapest we will see what tours he has on!

Coming to Budapest as my first solo travel mission was daunting so I booked this food tour in hopes of a bit of learning Hungarian culture and try their delicious cuisines. What I got was that and so much more! Its the slow season so it was just me and George the wonderful tour guide and he made me feel as though I was a friend walking through his town seeing all the best stops. This is more than a guided tour experience, this is an open armed hug into the lovely Hungarian Budapest culture. The food was phenomenal, plenty of servings to leave you full, and the drinks to let you feel a bit buzzzyy! Learning about the origins from George was so effortless, he could be a TedTalk Speaker the way he carries conversation ! I couldnt ask for anything more. Everyone give this tour a chance, you wont regret it ! Thank you !

great experience! George was a phenomenal guide- very informative and he tailored the tour very much to our small group (3 people total) and even offered his contact information to provide recommendations throughout our trip. He provided some background information on all the food we ate and the locations (which were all old, local establishments) , but did not go too in-depth into general hungarian history. all the food and drinks were great- you’ll leave feeling very full. Great bang for your buck. Could not recommend enough.

We had an amazing food tour in Budapest with George, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip. George was an awesome host — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Hungarian food and culture. We couldn’t believe how many different foods we got to try throughout the tour. Every stop offered something interesting and delicious, and by the end we were completely full. My personal favorite was the lángos — I’m still dreaming about it! The tour was so good and a perfect way to experience Budapest through its food. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city, especially if you want to taste a wide variety of local dishes while learning along the way.
