We had an amazing experience on this tour. Paul, our guide, was outstanding from start to finish. He shared fascinating insights, answered every question with patience, and made sure my mother and I felt comfortable and included. His deep knowledge and friendly attitude truly brought the experience to life. The pace was perfect, allowing us to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. You could tell he genuinely cares about what he does. Thanks to Paul, this tour was both educational and fun. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and well-organized adventure. We would book another tour with him.

A highlight of our Budapest visit was a Tuk Tuk tour. Greg arrived punctually and we gave input on which sites we wanted included. He provided historical context for each stop combined with interesting anecdotes about his own life in the city. When traffic was heavy he drove down old streets to avoid congestion, where we learned about floods and Jewish history. Fantastic views of the river were captured for our memories. He introduced us to funnel cakes and took us to a street where huge trees were covered in spring blossoms, one side was white and the other pink. Magical! This tour was the best part of our trip and Greg was very sensitive to the needs of my 83 year old mother, adapting the tour as needed. It felt like a visit with a friend, thank you Greg!

This was an exceptional experience. Our driver Paul was simply the best! If you use TukTuk in Budapest I would highly recommend asking for Paul. Saw so many of the city highlights with full explanation of the sites and history. Paul was extremely knowledgeable. Wonderful experience!

Our tour guide, Ben, did an outstanding job. He is very well versed in history, knows the city inside and out and made lunch reservations for us when it seemed impossible. We highly recommend taking this tour to get to know Budapest.

We have been on lots of private tours in various places, and this was definitely one of our very favorites. Budapest is hilly in several places and there is so much to see, making the tuk tuk an ideal way to get around and see this beautiful and historically rich city. Robert was a truly outstanding guide, giving so much interesting and in-depth information about the city of Budapest and the country of Hungary in a way that made us eager to return! Not only did Robert show us many highlights of this amazing city, he also gave us great recommendations for lunch and dessert, as well as other places to visit in Budapest during our trip. This tuk tuk tour is a fantastic way to be introduced to the city of Budapest. If you get Zoltar as your guide, you will be in for a treat! He is very passionate about his home country and impressively knowledgeable about almost every building we passed by. He also has a ton of cool stories as well as pop culture references to many of the places we visited. To top it off, he takes really great photos as well. We are really glad we did this tour on the first day after arriving. It gave us an overview and lay of the land so that it helped us with planning the rest of the activities the following days. We ended up trying some of the restaurants and activities that Zoltar recommended and they were on point! Thank you for a wonderful tour and experience!

Poorly run tour despite one good driver
We booked a 4-hour tuk-tuk tour for our family. There were two tuk-tuks—one driver (the younger one) was keen, engaging, and clearly interested in showing us the city. Unfortunately, the other driver completely ruined the experience.
From the start, he said most places were closed and suggested the tour would be cut short. At each stop (total 2 stops only), he gave very brief explanations and allowed only about 10-15 minutes before moving on. Several times, it seemed the good driver wanted to stop at important sites, but we didn’t because this driver just kept driving.
We missed many major attractions including Parliament, St Stephen’s Basilica, Buda Castle, Shoes on the Danube Memorial, and Liberty Square. I have been to Budapest before, so I knew how much we were missing—otherwise, we would have thought this was all the city had to offer.
After Heroes’ Square, he rushed us again and tried to end the tour at barely 2 hours instead of the promised 4. We decided to end the tour there. Overall, it was a waste of money and time, which is disappointing given how good the experience could have been with the other driver. We had a great time later exploring the city on our own for next 2 days.

Robi and Martin were exceptional in the service they provided. They were friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. It was quite an informative tour! We recommend it to anyone who wants to avoid crowded buses and get close to the Budapest sights. They accommodated seniors with mobility issues, walking slowly with canes. So much fun in the Tuk Tuk!

Paul took us around Budapest to all the major locations. He gave us historical context, current event information, offered to take pictures, answered questions, and was absolutely amazing. The team went above and beyond with scheduling / pick up accommodating our requests. There is probably no better way to see Budapest! Definitely ask for Paul! This may seem like it's a lot of money to pay out but is by far the best way to get around the city and learn about its history and see the sites. We went as a group of six female friends so took 3 tuk tuks our drivers and guides Ben Greg and Norbert were very knowledgeable we had a great day out. We chose to do the river cruise afterwards which was also a really good way of learning about the city. Thanks for a great experience

Wonderful and fun tour of the major sites in Buda and Pest, customized for us. Martin asked us if there were specific places we wanted to see; he was very informative and knowledgeable with a friendly manner. The stop for a langos lunch at a local market was perfect. The tour covered a lot of area with several stops which was better for us than just a walking tour. I particularly enjoyed the “castles” close to the heroes square and the citadel lookout. Highly recommend this tour.

We had Paul and Ben as our drivers- the company recommended we take 2 tuk tuks as we were 3 people (2 adults and one teen). We had a wonderful tour of the city. I was a bit worried as the weather was very windy, but it was fine (they supplied blankets). Both guides were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history and sites we visited. It’s a unique and fun way to see the city. We did this tour on our first day to help orient us to the city. You get collected straight from your hotel (they were on time), which was very convenient. They also ask what you want to see and can adapt the route. Highly recommend!

Where warm clothes if the weather is cold or wet. We didn't have time to change before our tour left; not the guides fault! Very personable young man who was a wealth of knowledge and very accommodating to what we wished to see. He couldn't have been more attentive.
