Jonberg was great! Knowledgeable , courteous and fun. Took us everywhere in Buda and Pest, it was a bit chilli but he had comfy, plush blankets, if you want to have a private experience and see everything is the right tour.

Jon, a native of Budapest, picked us up promptly from out hotel and proceeded to give us a personal 3 hour tour of the entire tourist section of town. He was an excellent driver with a degree in history. He had studied in the UK and his English was easy to understand. He patiently answered all of our questions on historical, social, political, and architectural issues in Budapest and Hungary in general. As a bonus he directed us to the type of restaurant and eating experiences we were hoping to find.
This tour allowed us to see so much in the three hours and we are now able to concentrate our limited time in Budapest on the locations of greatest interest to us instead of rushing around trying not to miss anything.

Our guide David was excellent - he provided a very thorough perspective on many sights in Budapest. The tour included some walking aspects and others easier to see by car. He made our day very informative and shared a great deal of the areas history. Highly recommend !

We have done several city tours and this was by far the best! We only had a couple of days in Budapest so opted for this tour to see more and I don’t think we missed a thing!! Zsombor was so knowledgeable, brought us hot tea, and we stopped for the best apple strudel. I cannot recommend enough!!

Overpriced for sure. The tour operates on Xmas eve but no info that all is closed so we couldn’t visit what we had planned to and no strudel neither as advertised for this tour.

We apologize, but you requested to visit the House of Terror museum which is NOT include in our services, despite the fact that we recommended another external location at the beginning. This was your special request and on December 24 Christmas Eve everything is closed in Hungary.
We wish you happy holidays, but as correctly stated on the website, we do not offer museum visit services.

Our driver, John, was warm and welcoming and really knew his way around Budapest to avoid traffic queues and see the sights. We had a mix of recorded historical information and his own insights. We also made a few stops, most notably at Buda castle where we got to try a piece of warm strudel from a local bakery. Was a great intro to Budapest.

Had a wonderful experience, probably one of the best ways to get to know Budapest. Our guide was very informative and professional. He took us to all the top spots, provide wonderful back ground on the sites and allowed us to get out and walk around by our selves.
The jeep was clean and there was plenty of blankets to keep you warm. We highly recommend the tour

Short stay in the city and my husband has back and leg pain walking too much. This was a great option for us to see the sights without having to walk too much at all. Quick photo stops, interesting facts by our driver and guide, and includes a Hungarian strudel as a great snack along the way. We had a beautiful day for the top down but yhey do provide blankets of needed.

Fantastic way to see the whole of Budapest off the beaten track and get your bearings! Would highly recommend at the beginning of your holiday. Our guide, Armin, was early and messaged us to tell us he was ready when we were. Great your. Covered all of the key parts of Buda and Pest. Answered all of our local questions. Strudel tasting and water included. Got our bearings for the whole holiday and saved a lot of money which we would have spent on other trips

Budapest is a big city and the two parts are separated by the river. It would be impossible to schedule different tour across the town on tight schedule unless you have weeks to spend here.
John is professional and from here and familiar with every part of Budapest, he not only gave frequent stops on major attractions, gave detailed backgrounds sometimes play audio tracks, but also helped us plan on future attractions we want to go.
After booking this tour, the time we SAVED are immense.
I rate this a must have tour for Budapest ( if you visit the first time)

We had a great time on the Private Budapest City Tour in the classic Jeep, and a big part of that was thanks to our guide, David. He was a cool guy—friendly, prompt, and easy to talk to. Even though he’s relatively new to the company, you’d never know it. He was knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions we had, whether they were about the city, culture, or everyday life in Budapest.
The tour itself uses a pre-recorded audio guide for the city information, which has its pros and cons. On the plus side, it’s clear and informative, but it does limit the spontaneity you might get with a fully live-guided tour.
That said, having David there really made the difference. He was engaged, helpful, and made the experience feel personal. We’d definitely recommend this tour—especially if you get David as your guide!

Unique and time efficient way to see Budapest key sights in a short time, and also be able to have some flexibility since it is a private tour.
Guide was great. You sit in the back of "puch" jeep with open top, so can take in the sights as you drive around.
