Early bird gets the worm ;) Our guide was great, and all I can say is to book the 8am tour if available. No lines, No wait, ahead of the crowd makes for the best experience.

We toured the Capitol, Library of Congress and exterior of the Supreme Court with Dwayne. The tour was 10/10! The amount of DC knowledge and art appreciation packed into 2 hours was incredible. My husband and I have done the Capitol tour with a staffer before - I learned so much more with Dwayne. Viator needs to give this guy a raise. If you’re looking for a personally guided tour thru Viator don’t hesitate - Book it!

Our guide Dwane was super - carefully guiding us all through other groups and along the route. He provided a massive amount of information both historical and contemporary in a clear and fun manner. Very polite and genuinely interested in everyone. The tour was as described. We would recommend the tour and we might even do it again !

The tour guide didn’t conduct the tour. He only waited in line with us and we had a tour guide at the US Capitol. A waste of money.

Sadly my mum had a fall as we were walking to meet our guide. But I am writing as they messaged twice to see where we were, I explained. They then messaged 45 mins later to see where we were. Thoughtful but we didn't get to see Capitol Hill etc.

This tour was by far the most informative tour we had. Rochelle was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the Capital and all branches of Government. She was patient and very friendly. It was an amazing tour and we highly recommend it. Make sure to ask for Rochelle if you can!

This is a terrible tour operator. The meeting point is not accurate, when trying to contact the guide wouldn't answer. I requested a refund and have heard nothing back. Do yourself a favour and just go in and join a free tour.

Monday the Congress Library was closed, and we were in the rain waiting for over an hour before getting in Capital Hill. I thought we were paying for easy access to both. Once we were inside, it was the Capital Hill guide gave us the explanation and tour, not Viator tour. So what was I paying Viator for?

The tour guide was not there. We arrived earlier than the meet up time and waited for 45 minutes. The tour guide never showed up.

Please see our review . you should call at list tour start on time no exceptions and guest have to be at list 15 minutes before the tour start please email us your information any traveling date and we let you know haw many people was on the tour and you are the only one never show up it’s not scam it’s you never show up .

It’s a lot of walking and stairs. Dwayne was an awesome tour guide! Super knowledgeable and engaging! The tour registration was easy and having access to the capitol interior was an experience.

The tour was not described accurately and definitely not worth the cost. The "walk" was actually waiting in line for one hour to enter the Capitol. Also, it was not clearly stated that the tour on Monday would be changed because the Library of Congress is closed on Monday. The tour was supposed to last 2 hours, but since it took over an hour to get into the Capitol, I don't see how the whole tour could possibly be completed in that time frame.
As a result of the misleading description, we had to leave the tour after two hours in order to catch a flight. I really think our money should be refunded.
Rochelle, the tour guide, was fine. The tour was poorly advertised and miscommunicated. Others in our group were not happy too.

off course you have to go to security and the library of congress is closed on mondays and give other sites like the Us capitol museum it's very clear on you tickets

The Capitol tour was very good and the lady in charge did a very good job, the bad review is because they sold me a tour that gave us the right to enter the Capitol and the congress bookstore and it was closed

Dwayne was knowledgeable, articulate, and attentive to the groups’ needs. The tour included lots of interesting facts and details about the Capitol Building as well as the surrounding area. Well worth the money. I’d even do it again!
