This tour was so worth it!

Dion was an amazing and engaging guide. We got so much more than a tour of Mount Vernon - we got a history of the area of Alexandria, our first president and his complicated life, and of Washington DC itself. We enjoyed this tour tremendously. If you can do private, I will always recommend it. You have time to do the things you want and a person like Dion to make it happen.

Christopher was awesome! We booked a 5 hour tour of Alexandria and Mt Vernon. We are an active family and Christopher quickly adapted when we told him we’d like to also add Arlington to our itinerary. We saw it all in 5 hours. He put us right in the right place at the tomb of the unknown soldier to have the best view of the guard inspection. We really enjoyed our time with him. It was a great day!

Very enjoyable - guide was very knowledgable and entertaining. Even though it was raining we throughly enjoyed the visit. Traveling there was fun as well with interesting facts and beautiful scenery. I had visited Mt Vernon many years ago and was amazed at the improvements that have been made. tThe short video was very helpful for my grandson and really made the visit more meaningful.
