- The driver in the bus narrates in English. When he brings you to the boat that takes you to Alcatraz, they give you audio guides in 12 different languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Dutch, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Mandarin.
- We reserve the right to buy tickets to Alcatraz in the morning and do the city tour in the afternoon. Then you have to get to Pier 33 on your own, after Alcatraz tour, we will pick you up from Pier 33 and we will bring you back to your hotel after the city tour.
- We do not pick up people if they are out of our pick-up area. We pickup from Downtown or from Fisherman's Wharf. Always call or write to us in advance to confirm your pickup location.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 28 travelers

Excellent tour, very informative and interesting. Stopped at various stops for pictures and ended with tour to Alcatraz, where you will be on your own at that point.

Unfortunately, there was poor communication from the beginning. It wasn't clear whether you were to meet with a guide from the beginning and turns out part of the tour you were on your own. This would have been fine but that was never communicated. The itinerary when you purchased the tour waa different from what actually occurred so it was hard to know where to go and what times. I received several text messages with conflicting times of when to meet. I kept sending messages and didn't alwas get a response. The tour guide, Michael, was very rude at times. At one point, someone expressed they needed a bathroom and his reply was "well I can't create a bathroom". He was lucky the passengers were respectful but he definitely needs training on dealing with customers. Overall, I did not think it was worth what we paid.

Our tour guide, Randy, was what made our city tour so impressive! He put his personal touches and experience into everything he took us to. He gave human interest information that we might never have found out. He even showed us his personal pictures of what the building look like at different holidays. He played songs from the 70’s by the artists whose houses he took us by. The Alcatraz part was perfect length of time to see the island and do the self guided tour. We would highly recommend this tour for those who are visiting San Francisco for the first time.

I had booked this trip for my senior citizen parents (aged 65 yrs) and they enjoyed it thoroughly. Randy was a fantastic guide. Due to a week day, they were the only participants which made it more like a private tour. Would surely recommend everyone.

Alcatraz was a great experience. The history of Alcatraz was very interesting. The only thing that was crazy was all of the flies. I guess because the weather was warm the flies were in abundance. You had to use paper fans to try to keep them off you.

Thorough introduction to SF including history, neighborhoods, the bay/ocean front, major buildings. Jerry made sure to hit the highlights and answer questions and was a safe/careful driver. We like the hotel pickup. He was very careful to then make sure we were on time to the Alcatraz ferry and had the proper code and knew exactly where to go to get our pre-reserved tickets. We had a great time with him and on Alcatraz too.

Alcatraz was so much better than I was expecting! I learned so much. I definitely would recommend this part of the trip to anybody visiting San Francisco! The tour bus portion of things was OK. It was quite hot in the bus and I believe the guide and the two other families had been together since early that morning, so they may have seen stuff twice and we may have missed out on some things. He was difficult to hear. I was also very tired from getting up and driving to San Francisco very early that morning.
