Chef Leo was fantastic! Excellent instruction and energy. You will prepare, but not cook the pasta. It’s not very complicated so don’t feel any pressure! We had a lovely chat with other guests during the meal. It was fun and well worth the price.

If you’re looking for an enjoyable cooking experience look no further. We had a wonderful time cooking with Chef Dani. He was patient and knowledgeable. Eating the fruits of our labor was the perfect ending to a wonderful afternoon.

We had a marvelous time cooking with Mattia!! He was so skilled and kind, and made the whole experience approachable and fun. It was extremely well organized and flowed smoothly even with a big group. Many of our group are not regular chefs and they loved this experience too. Bonus, the restaurant is near a ton of central attractions so you’re right in the center of Rome for fun before and after. Can’t recommend it enough!

Group size about 20 people. You cook your own meal then served with a glass of wine. Cooking instructor very knowledgeable. Class held in a restaurant. There are multiple classes going at one time and seemed rushed. Next cooking class, prefer a smaller setting in a private home.

Fun for the family

I had no idea what to expect with this event while traveling to Rome, but it was definitely a highlight for our family. Not only do you get to eat a delicious meal, we learned how to make a few Italian staples while having fun as a family. The chef instructions were easy to follow and I feel like I can go home and make my own fresh pasta. We all agreed that the sauces used to accompany our creations would have made anything taste delicious. Sitting around the table, family style, with our group afterwards was fun. We met new people from all around the globe and bonded over our delicious creations.

Best Cooking Class Ever

This class at Restaurant Gusto in Rome is extremely well-done and very organized. It’s all a lot of fun. We and about 20 others in our group had a great time learning to make homemade fettuccine noodles and tiramisu. Later in the evening we all sat at a table together, enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine and ate the food we made. Was one of many highlights of this trip.

It was a little confusing the morning of the class when my email had 2 different meeting locations. We went to the original location which was correct. Once we got there Chef Mimi was great about instructing us and answering questions while keeping it fun. This was a great experience and so glad we did it. Would recommend.

Great way to spend a couple hours away from all the crowds in Rome

This was a great experience in Rome. There were lots of crowds everywhere and this cooking class gave us some time to get away--nice break from all the tourist spots. OUr chef, Matt, was patient and great at helping us when we needed it with rolling out the pasta. The tiramasu was fabulous. They gave us all the recipes at the end of the class. The first half of the class is actually preparing the tiramasu, fettucine, and ravioli. Then, you get to sit down, have a drink, while your pasta is being cooked. Three sauce options for the fettucine were provided. The food all tasted so good! Even though the description says the tour lasts 3 hours, we found it only took about 2 hrs....possibly because our class size was smaller. All in all, I would do this again!

SUCH a worthwhile part of the day. Easily our favorite part of our stay in Roma. Leornardo was a great head chef, very warm and funny, and not patronizing when people inevitably made mistakes. He made sure everyone had a great final product. Everyone was very pleased and we all had a fantastic time together. 10000% recommend and would do again. Even members who were going to skip it ended up being very glad they didn’t
