On Wednesdays, Easter, Christmas and other religious holidays and feasts, Saint Peter’s Basilica will be closed. In that case, a three-hour tour will be offered inside the Vatican Museums.
Please note- the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica maintains a strict dress code year-round. All visitors must have their shoulders covered and pants/skirts must come to the knee. Please wear comfortable shoes.
The Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica have strict security restrictions. Due to metal detectors at the entrances of most attractions, It is forbidden to bring the following: Sharp objects, aerosol, bike, bag packs etc.

The guide was too difficult to understand. Talked too fast, didn’t engage with us at all. Made the tour of the museum too long. Saint Peter’s church was amazing. Glad we were able to enjoy it on our own

Excellent guide, he spent a lot of time prepping us for what we were goung to see. I appreciated that. It isn't a quick tour and there aren't opportunities to sit down, so be prepared. You spend 15 minutes in the Sistine chapel which was magical and this time of year there weren't any crowds in St Peter's.

This was an amazing experience. Pasquale was a great guide, very calm and patient despite the huge crowds. He kept us entertained and there were many things to see, but Pasquale focused on important aspects and stories about the Vatican. He was very engaging and open to questions from the group.

The Vatican museum and Sistine chapel were very crowded but our tour guide did a fantastic job of keeping the tour moving and finding time away from the crowd to explain things. Would have preferred a guided tour of the basilica instead of Vatican museum but think I misunderstood what the tour consisted of.

The tour guide went fast and didn’t wait for the group. Although the Vatican was closed until 1:00 and our tour ended at 1:00 she didn’t give us any directions on how to see St. Peter’s Square or the Vatican on our own. We were very disappointed.

Maggie our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable, but we did not get what we paid for or expected. We did not see Raphael’s room like purchased and did not go into some of the rooms as told we would. Do not do a late afternoon tour.

The company fulfilling this tour is extremely strict as they have multiple tours leaving at the same time. They have zero tolerance for people coming late and charge you full price for 'rescheduling'. Our tour had about 24 people and several of them including us were reschedules coming from earlier or same time tours there was a group of friends who were scheduled to be in separate same time tours that had to reschedule... and PAY... to be a part of the same group. I am disappointed about this because it cost us twice as much and we missed the morning viewings of the Apartment and Raphael rooms. ALSO!!! read the fine print. You'll still have to pay the Vatican Museum entrance fee of 24 Euros/person when you get to the tour office. This makes this tour not worth it in my opinion since you essentially have to pay double of the advertised price--deceptive! Getting into the Vatican is difficult, we understand. But our group did about 40 minutes of waiting around while our guide was getting tickets for us after security. I noticed other groups coming and going much faster since their guide moved quicker and did not require the group to follow them to collect tickets then back to the entrance. We definitely wasted time. Our guide, Gerolamo was not good in English and unfortunately, his personality was unable to come out. It was not enjoyable to be led by him. His descriptions of things were very basic and he repeated himself a lot. He was unable to answer questions coming from the group about paintings or artwork of the museum or sistine chapel. We were pushed through the Sistine Chapel without stopping even though other groups were able to stay longer. I would not suggest this tour to another person and recommend people go in on their own, purchase the museum audio guide and do it at your own pace. The lines for prepaid individuals went just as fast as for tour groups in early July.

This tour was reasonably priced and totally worth it! We showed up at the Tour Office walking distance from Vatican City 15-20 minutes before our tour began where we checked in and received our headphones. Our tour guide Laura was friendly, informative and energetic. This tour is comprehensive enough theoretically, one could spend days exploring the grounds for the time frame 3 hours and price. We saw important collections within the Vatican Museum, spent time at Sistine Chapel, and ended tour at St. Peter's Basilica. I highly recommend!

Point de rencontre pour visite guidée en français au numéro 46 et pas au 8 de la rue indiquée, ne pas hésiter à demander autour de vous, les personnes extérieurs orientent facilement. Belle visite mais évidemment avec beaucoup de monde, je pense que si vous faites la visite guidée du soir(malheureusement annulée pour nous) ça doit être magique et plus calme. Evidemment énormément de choses à voir tapisseries, statues, peintures... un vrai musée!. Et on a terminé par la chapelle sixtine seuls mais le guide nous avait expliqué les éléments de la pièce avant de nous laisser. Si pas de place pour s assoir les gardiens ne souhaitent pas qu on reste trop longtemps dans la pièce statiques, il faut vite circuler. Donc on a vite passé cette pièce culte. Visite à faire évidemment mais je pense un peu ennuyeux pour des enfants (au vu de ce qu on voyait autour de nous😉). Yasmina

Pascal est un super guide, motivé et intéressant. Nous avons eu la chance de venir dans une période très calme, nous étions quasiment seuls dans le Vatican. Je recommande sans hésiter. Il ne faut pas venir au Vatican sans guide.
