Never book with this tour company!! Ruined our vacation!!!!

This your company said our reservation was cancelled but it was not. I called Viator to confirm. They messed it up and did not accommodate us. They ruined our day completely. This was booked a month in advance and we had our confirmation and booking reservation and paid in full. They told us they would make it right and made us wait over an hour and then said no they would not, they were so rude and should not be in business!!!! Don’t make the same mistake!!!!!

We liked the skip the line but were astounded and very disappointed that you had to be separated from the tour due to being in a wheelchair. We were never told in advance that taking the tour when in a wheelchair wasn’t possible. We had to go on our own with a device that was ineffective. Numbering system was inaccurate and sometimes numbers didn’t exist. I beg you to find ways to be more inclusive for those with disabilities.

Smaller Groups are Better and Book Early!

First bit of advice is book early as you may not be able to get ticket and you will save yourself money. My friend and I struggled to find tickets and this was our last result within budget. Second bit of advice is book with this tour operator, the tour operator was easy to find at their meeting place and they were fantastic. Unfortunately I can not remember the name of our guide but she was AMAZING and so knowledgeable and fantastic working her way and us through the busy rooms and hallways of the Vatican, because it really does get busy. Make sure you wear something that covers your upper body, a big light scarf will do and take water as it can be hot and you are in there for a long time and there are lots of people

The Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica were awe-inspiring, but the fast pace of the tour left little time to appreciate each sight. We were on our own after the Sistine Chapel but would’ve preferred to be left inside the museum to go back & see things at a more leisurely pace. While the guide's knowledge was evident, her slight language barrier got in the way and her fast pace impacted the overall experience.

Guide left without us

We did not get to do the tour because the guide left without us, even though we arrived at meeting location 20 minutes early. We wandered around and could not find the guide, or any signs for meeting, and guide never reached out to us. I sent request to the guide, and they responded 30 minutes after the meeting time, that we were a no show. Filed a complaint. Still waiting on resolution.

I booked a tour, was informed the night before they needed to change it to the earlier tour. When I arrived at the location provided to a closed/locked building. When I reached out I was told they were entering and I lost out, sorry? With no refund/credit provided, I have been unable to reach anyone since nor has anyone contacted me in reference to this issue.

Well organized. Great tour guide!!! Difficult to hear with the whisperers so we missed quite a bit. Would be nice if blue tooth could be used. Especially for us that wear hearing aids.

Although tour guide was excellent, I was quite disappointed with Vatican. Over crowded they let far to many people in at once. So you are rushed through saying that you can go back after tour if you like but really to crowded for that. We also paid for sis teen chapel which tour guide did not come in ,as she said you cannot talk ,take photos or have phones out.you go in and are rushed though by guards so cannot really look up as they are moving you along so fast and you are trying not to stand on person in front of you. I think it probably took two minutes from one end to the other. Foot note, there was tour guides in there with there group stood in the middle of the floor people talking and phones out, so don’t understand why our tour guide could not take us in and let us stand in the middle.

The guide cancelled at the last minute and the only benefit we had was fast pass . It’s almost impossible to get the benefit without a guide . Do not book through this company

Changed tour time the day before, not a great tour but museum fantastic

The tour time was changed less than a day before the start and was only notified by a generic email that didn't find its way into my notifications. Upon waking up, discovering this email and finding out the tour was starting in 30 mins, we called the reception who told me I 'should have checked my email' and that she will 'try to get the guide to wait' but 'couldn't promise anything'. Despite this the guide did wait briefly and we manged to find her right outside the museum. We were then escorted into the Vatican museum, which was the busiest museum I've ever been to. I think we were assigned an official tour guide, who wasn't too enthusiastic (understandably as there were SO many people). She had quite a strong accent, was a little hard to understand, and didn't seem too interested in what she was talking about. The museum is home to some of the best works of art ever made, and this tour did allow us to skip the line, but the company changing the time less than a day before and telling me I should have 'checked my email' didn't sit too well. Overall would recommend just booking a ticket via the museums website

Sculptures, paintings, from Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rafaelo and other famous artists are breathtaking. The buildings are beautiful. The Sistine Chapel is unbelievable. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, showing every detail of the tour.

Bonjour , Je regrette d’avoir pris cette option de coupe fil à la va vite , pas d’autres propositions que l’anglais ou l’italien pour un prix exorbitant de 239 euros !!!! c’est du vol , de l’arnaque quant on voit que mon fils de 10 ans a payer 55 euros , c’est honteux , je ne vous ferez pas de pub bien au contraire …..
