Arrived at meeting point @ 1020 am for an 11 am tour and was told I was supposed to arrive by 8 am for my 11 am scheduled tour. Was told an email was sent yet nothing was on the booking confirmation email about the time change when I booked the tour the same week. Not even the Viator app mentioned anything about a time change. Tour representatives offered to honor my tour for the next day but was unable to do tour because of already booked tours for that day. They said request a refund. I will never book with Gyash tours through Viator every again.

Although the basilica itself was breathtaking - incredible architecture and artistry - the "tour" itself was shambolic. The tour leader did not clearly identify himself to the group, had no visible aid (eg a flag) to help give direction and frankly, once we entered the basilica and merged with the hundreds of other visitors, we were left to our own devices. The must be other companies who are more deserving of your money.

The meeting place was convenient and directions provided were helpful. We had to wait quite a while past our scheduled time for a guide. The headsets provided worked for most of us, but mine did not and by the time the guide checked to be sure they functioned, it was too late to get a replacement device. The guide was certainly knowledgeable, but not engaging and seemed a bit hurried. However, just being able to skip-the-line was a huge plus. The lines otherwise were horrendous. I suspect we would have been exhausted before we even got inside. The Basilica is spectacular and a must visit.
