It was lovely having such a knowledgeable guide to take us round all the hidden gems and more obvious ones. We enjoy walking (and there was lots of walking) so make sure you have your walking shoes and be ready to soak up all the history around you

This tour takes you to and through areas that would be difficult to do on your own. In addition to seeing the key sights Alessandro took us into neighborhoods and on streets that show the traveler all sides of Rome. We also started early so missed lots of the crowds. We were so happy to have Alessandro as our guide as well. He was informative and clearly enjoys his job.

Maria was fantastic and i can speak highly enough of this tour. Maria contacted me before even arriving in Rome to ask where we were staying and what we wanted to see. The day before we arranged a meeting point which was easy to find, to say we saw all of the hidden gems of Rome is an understatement with local knowledge about each one of them. A stop at a local market and coffee spot added to the experience. would recommend Maria to anybody travelling to Rome

Maria Elena was a GEM!!! She contacted me days before the tour to understand what I would like to see in Rome and she delivered! I booked the day long tour; I had mentioned I wanted to see at minimum the Trevi fountain, the Spanish Steps, a particular museum, and all the architecture we could cram into the hours of walking. I was impressed not only by the way she organized the experience to be able to see as much as possible, but her vast knowledge of the architecture and art within her city is phenomenal! She made the experience highly entertaining for me and she also recommended some amazing restaurants that were equally incredible. I highly recommend Maria Elena for a wonderful tour of Rome. Orso was a wonderful guide. We walked around Trastevere listening to him tell us about the neighborhood, culture, and cuisine. We sampled many different local foods and he gave us recommendations on places to eat, drink and have fun during the rest of our stay! We also spent time taking some pictures. Experience was terrible
Guide knew we wanted to see St Peters and he didn’t even know that we wouldn’t be able to go inside due to mass-
also except for repeating the same comments about architecture he had very few interesting comments about Rome
He also didn’t project his voice so only one couple could hear him
He seemed to have a set of places to see and of the 4 things we wanted to see we only saw one and that one we didn’t go inside because he said the line was too long
Overall the worst walking tour I’ve had anywhere
