Grateful for a tour on Christmas. The guide was full of energy and gave pretty good insight on history of Rome. Although we could not hear her some of the time. It might be a little pricey for what you get. Quick history at the meeting point with wine. Then walk over to the Pantheon- then off to where Julius c. was killed. The a meal nearby that was average - probably $40 meal with wine? Our tickets were $90 - so was the tour worth $50? Probably not.

Dear Jeremy, we’re sorry that you felt that the tour was overpriced but we would just like to remind that on 25th December (Christmas night) we were maybe the only tour company in Rome who ran a tour so it could be possible to imagine that the cost of the guide and the restaurant dinner fee was higher on that day, so the tour’s fee was in line with these facts for that specific date. Best wishes.

This tour was so much fun! Nihan has so much energy and knowledge about the areas we visited, and she keeps you engaged the entire time. Learning about the site of Caesar’s assassination over limoncello was my personal highlight. The dinner at the end of the night was also wonderful! I would definitely recommend this tour.

Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was very eager to do her job well. She did speak quickly with an Italian accent which made it difficult for some of us to follow her stories. It was rainy which made folks even more antsy. Nice restaurant with excellent food to conclude the tour. Would suggest changing to a restaurant closer to the final stop (excavation site) to reduce walk, especially in the dark at night during the winter. We had 16 people trying to follow a guide, in the dark, in the rain and it was a bit stressful.

Phenomenal experience! Sylvia was such a great guide with so much charisma and energy. Her enthusiasm for the city of Rome and its history really helps bring the stories to life. From the birth of the city to the beginning of the Empire, she really brought the stories to life. I was very lucky and ended up being the only person on the tour (some others cancelled) and it was a fantastic tour with great sparkling wine and limoncello! An absolute must in Rome. The food was phenomenal. Great quality and simply great! I highly recommend!! Hats off to Sylvia, she was outstanding!

The title is the wrong way around, first you have the walking tour around bits of Rome with wine to keep you company. Our guide was funny and informative and kept us interested for the whole exercise. You end up at the lovely restaurant for a wonderful pasta meal.

What an amazing experience this was and such a value! We arrived and met our guide who was so gracious and fun right from the start! We lucked out in that we were the only two to book the experience so we had a completely private experience! Our guide started with pouring us chilled Prosecco and went in to an interesting story about the history or Rome that took us to the Pantheon and the site of Julius Caesar’s assassination. The narrative portion ended with a shared shot of limoncello. Our guide was bright, friendly, informative and held our interest throughout. As a former professional guide for Disney, I can honestly say she was top notch! She answered all our questions and was so personable. Really we couldn’t have asked for more in a guide. The tour ended with a wonderful dinner at a local restaurant (NOT a restaurant at in Piazza Navona so it was real Roman/Italian food!). Everything was delicious but the panna cotta was the best I’ve ever had by a wide margin. I’m not someone who leaves 5 star reviews lightly. This experience was truly five star! You won’t be disappointed, except maybe when the tour comes to an end. HIGHLY Recommend!

AMAZING FROM START TO FINISH!! Sylvia was a fantastic guide who was an expert storyteller. We heard a fascinating stories on the origins of Rome with some “scandalous” side notes. The walk was leisurely and beautiful. The dinner was excellent and Sylvia even spoke to the manager of the restaurant to request that he confirm a taxi back to our hotel for us at the end of dinner. When in Rome do not miss this experience!!

Our guide was an enthusiastic and generous woman that made the entire tour group feel attend to and appreciated. She created an atmosphere that celebrated our curiosity and glorified the history of Rome. Everyone in the group felt welcome to chime in with questions and conversation. By the end of the tour, we had all become close friends. Our guide was flexible and generous with her schedule and helpful with advice regarding other attractions. Everyone in the tour agreed that it was the best and most inclusive tour they had been on, ever, not just in Rome. She restored my enthusiasm for the city and I would recommend her HIGHLY and with immense enthusiasm.

Fun evening of History and Food

Nina did a great job introducing Roman history to my wife and I who hadn’t taken classic history in years. She walked us through the streets of Rome tying in interesting stories from the cities ruling elite making the history palpable and most importantly enjoyable. Cherry on top of this tour is being taken to a great dining location with what was one of our best diners of our trip.

For our first full day in Italy of our 2 week trip, me and my friends decided to take this tour based on the good price for a tour which includes a full course Roman dinner as well as history telling part. It was AWESOME! We had Nina as our guide and were with a wonderful friendly group. It was so much more than a food tour... Nina shared stories from Rome’s history in a very entertaining and interesting way, current events in Rome and her opinions as a local. She gave us a tasty Prosecco at the beginning to start the night and then took us to a lovely real Italian restaurant near to Pantheon. Our tour lasted well into 4 hours just because we asked so many questions and didn't want to stop. Come with an empty stomach and be prepared to be full. That Roman dinner is wonderful, especially the typical Roman pasta CARBONARA! I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. By far, the best thing we did with our limited time in Rome. Gratzia Nina!

This tour was the perfect combination of history & delicious local food! First we started the tour with a glass of tasty prosecco which was provided by our extremely knowledgeable and funny guide Nina while she was telling us all the crazy facts about ancient and baroque Rome at the famous historical sites. After that first part, we went to a beautiful Italian restaurant which is quite close to Pantheon to eat a full Roman dinner, which was soooo delicious (especially that pasta Amatriciana and tiramisu, the best I've ever had in my life!!!) Nina did not only speak to us about history of Rome, but she also gave us information about tasty Roman cuisine while we were eating, which made the dinner even more interesting! The fact that our group was small (6 people) gave us the possibility to feel cared by Nina, she was so helpful also by telling us how to get a taxi and reach our hotel. Me and boyfriend had a blast at this tour, DO NOT HESITATE EVEN A SECOND to book it!! Thanks for a wonderful night, Nina!
