Itinerary
Meet your guide and head to the Colosseum to explore the highlights of Rome's most famous ancient site. Put on an audio headset for easy listening and spend the next 90 minutes learning about the history of the amphitheater from your guide as you visit the first and second levels.
Then head over to the Roman Forum for the second part of your tour, enhanced with live commentary from your guide. After around 45 minutes exploring the forum, head up to Palatine Hill, the final stop on your tour. Wrap up your tour by admiring the ruins and learning about how Rome was founded.

- In July and August due to the heat the duration of the visit is 2 hours and a half.
- By booking our guided tour, you acknowledge and accept the Colosseum entrance ticket fees: €18 per person, or €24 per person if arena access is included, along with a Colosseum reservation fee of €2 per person. Admission is free for children under 18. Please note that the fees mentioned above cover the Colosseum entry, while the remaining cost of the experience includes services such as skilled licensed guides, headsets, booking fees, and additional tour amenities. We aim to ensure transparency, providing a clear understanding of the cost breakdown so you can fully appreciate the value of our guided experience.

Wonderful experience! One of the highlights of our trip to Rome. Our guide was very knowledgeable and kept it interesting the entire time.
Our tour guide was great. The things we saw were magnificent! I would definitely recommend this tour!
It is crazy crowded. Our guide did not have a flag. It was extremely hard to follow him. He never stopped to allow for any pictures during the tour, except for a bathroom break and one other long speech.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. He answered all of our questions thoroughly and made the tour enjoyable.

Excellent tour and the guide - sorry forgot his name, but he was from Crown Tours. He was very informative explaining all the history and archeological information about the colosseum, he did not rush us along allowing us time to take photos and guiding us to shaded areas as it was a scorcher of a day.

A great tour!
We got a guide from Crown Tours who used to be a lawyer (can’t remember the name, sadly)
It was so clear to the whole group that this was this man’s passion. He did an absolute amazing job, giving us all the information we could possibly need. For me the tour could just keep on going for another two hours.
Good to know about the tour is that only the Colosseum is in the shade, most of the rest is mostly in direct sunlight. THINGS YOU HAVE TO DO/BRING: For the love of anything, apply sunscreen, bring sunglasses, maybe wear a hat that shades you, try to cover up the lightest parts of your body that burn easily if possible or you forget sunscreen. The office of Crown Tours only sell umbrellas, but they will do the trick as well. And also, please hydrate! ENJOY THE TOUR, WE DID!
This was an amazing tour! Marco was the best tour guide I've ever experienced! His depth of knowledge and enthusiasm was incredible! He really brought these ancient ruins to life!

Google Maps had is walk around for 2 hours so of course we where late 😡
Said we could use listen in
Our ears. So walk to Colosseum and the girl told us no we could not do that. We got the wrong time and they wouldn’t allow us in blamed point through a second party through Vidor and kinda made me sad after walking for three hours and not seeing the Colosseum inside, we were very upset at ourselves.

The tour guide was a nice guy but unfortunately he's not a good story teller which made for a boring tour. I didn't really learn much more than the basics we learned in highschool.

The leader had no flag. It was hard to keep up with him.. He was walking so fast, we could not keep up and my granddaughter was having a hard time we wound up leaving the tour. I would’ve liked to see the Colosseum first before the others, but they left that for last after walking around in the heat I was not impressed.

Phenomenal. We had Bianca as our tour guide, she is a lovely person was respectful of the dark history of the ancient Roman ways. She was funny and personable, she encouraged questions which we didn’t have very many because she covered everything we could have thought of. She found areas of shade for longer explanations, “drinking fountains”/ fresh cold water faucets, perfect for water bottles. She constantly checked to make sure the group of 12? together. We received purple stickers to make group identification easy. She gave us tips when to closely protect our bags, found faster ways into the colosseum and through security check points. I wish we could have her as our tour guide for other historic sites.

The tour did not start at the colisieum. It started at the other end, in 35 degree heat, in intense sun, talking about stone bricks and motor. Too much talk about history to take in while sweltering. Waited it out tho because the coliseum was last! Again it was about fillers like bricks and stone and what they used when and what. If it’s not a million degrees and you’re up for listening to geological surveys, then it’s great. Personally just buy a ticket at the gate
