Deborah was a fantastic tour guide and you could tell she was really passionate about the history. We also got some free time to explore the Roman Forum on our own at the end of the tour. I would definitely use Carpe Diem tours again!

Xenia the tour guide was great! Very knowledgeable. I was a little disappointed that 20 people is considered a “small” group, but it ended up being okay. We did have two older woman with mobility issues and that impacted the group. They should make a tour specifically for people that aren’t able to do a lot of steps. Despite all that, it was amazing and worth our time. There is SO much to see you could do this tour multiple times.

It’s primarily the colosseum. Very thorough and good tour of it. Great guide. I would recommend it. We did get an overview of Palestine Hill and it was nice to have someone guide us through getting in the hill area.

Marianna was excellent. She was funny, knowledgable and took no prisoners. She made the tour. She really breathed life into the Colloseum, Palatine Hill and Forum. We had two teens with us so keeping them egaged isn’t always easy but she really achieved this. Great fun was had. Her English is incredible.

My wife and I were not sure what we were going to get in a guide for the Colosseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill. We were beyond impressed and satisfied.
Selene, our guide and an archeologist, made the 2000-year history of the spaces accessible in a way that we did not expect. She was personable, entertaining, and engaging. I highly recommend a guide from Carpe Diem Tours (through Viator), and consider yourself lucky if you get Selene.

Andy was the best guide. There was a person in our group that struggled with some mobility issues and he just took the best care of her and made sure she was always with the group and enjoying the tour.
