- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

A thoroughly interesting tour of the Colosseum, Palentine Hill and The Forum (despite the rain) and Bogdan kept us engaged with such interesting and well pitched content throughout. The poor weather meant the tour was almost private, but he would deliver to a greater audience just as well. They provide radio transmitters and headphones so everyone can hear.

The tour itinerary was different than indicated— first a tour of Palatine Hill region, then overlook and description of the Forum, followed by Colosseum tour. Numerous members of our group had mobility issues, and I was very surprised that the tour said “wheelchair accessible” and did not indicate that attendees should be able to climb stairs and walk along lots of uneven ground and essentially stand for most of 3 hours. It was unfortunate for everyone because the people who could not walk and climb easily were not able to experience the whole tour and the tour was slowed because of this. Our guide was entertaining, very pleasant and patient, and gave context and stories to make the history come alive. He was not an archaeologist, as the tour title indicates. I should have read extensively ahead of time to better understand the features and structures we saw. I was hoping for a more historical details. On a high note, the Palatine Hill area has many amazing features—I did not think this was part of the guided tour. As a side note, restrooms were few and far between.

We would like to apologise for not meeting your expectations during our Colosseum Arena and Roman forum guided tour.
However, we would like to inform you that the tour has ran regularly, the itinerary was exactly as described: Colosseum Arena, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill for 3 hours. As mentioned in the voucher, the starting point might vary according to the entrance time at the Colosseum.
The tour is wheelchair accessible but we also do mention that the Forum is not so accessible since there are some stairs - however the guides always know which path to walk on should there be wheelchairs during the tour.
We appreciate the nice comments regarding our tour guide - and hope that you enjoyed the tour nevertheless.

What a fantastic experience! Gabriel our guide is an archaeologist and not only is he knowledgeable, but he really takes the time to explain and answer questions. He has a great personality and a lot of energy which makes the entire tour incredibly fun and enjoyable. Probably the best guided tour I’ve had anywhere in the world.

We had a fantastic experience on our Colosseum tour with Touriks. Our guide was fabulous—incredibly knowledgeable about Roman history, very personable, and answered all of our questions with ease. She made the history come alive and we really enjoyed the tour.
The group had about 20 people, but thanks to the headsets and the guide’s clear communication, it felt smooth and well-managed. Everything was very organized from start to finish.
One important note: your scheduled time might change. About a week before our tour, we were notified that our original 12:00 slot wasn’t available due to ticket issues with Colosseum. We were given the choice of 9:00 AM or 1:00 PM and chose the earlier time—which turned out to be a great decision with the heat that day! The communication from Touriks was excellent, and they handled the change very professionally.
We would absolutely recommend this tour and our guide to friends, and would definitely book with Touriks again!

The tour was fine, but very basic. I found it to be an overpriced for what was offered. While the guide was pleasant, the information provided was fairly surface-level, and I think you could easily create a similar (or better) experience on your own using a self-guided app or some quick research. If you’re someone who enjoys a little more depth or flexibility, I’d recommend exploring the site independently.

Our guide was very knowledgeable and funny too. I only booked the day before and the tour operator contacted me about a change in time, asking if I was ok with it (I was). I liked the headphone and small group. I also appreciated the availability since the Coloseum Official Tickets were sold out and this was an opportunity to still see the Coloseum, plus get a guided tour.

Great tour. The archaeologist was really knowledgeable and passionate. She answered all our questions and gave insight into the history of the Colosseum. We had access to the arena floor, which was much quieter than the general access area. It also provided great views of the whole interior as well as the underground tunnels.
After the Colosseum we walked up palatine hill which had great views of the surrounding ancient ruins. This was followed by a walk through Roman Forum, which was so interesting to learn about the foundations of the Roman empire.

Terrific tour! 5 stars all the way! Elena was a wonderful guide. Extremely engaging and kind. She gave us plenty of time to get photos and had a lot of great stories to tell about the artifacts. We will recommend this tour to all of our friends. **Tip arrive at least 15mins early as it can be a little tricky to find the group as it is crowded. We met near the Metro in case you want to take that route, but we arrived by taxi, but you need to climb downstairs to get to the meeting point.

We did just the Colosseum part of the tour (not the Forum) and it was a great way to learn a bit about the Colosseum and the history. I think 1 hour is enough unless you are really into it. We saw the main level and walked up to the second level as well. Our guide was great and we all enjoyed it, including our teenage sons.

Our tour guide Borden was sensational! engaging, entertaining and above all very informative. We loved that we could have the guided tour of the Colloseum, but then take our own time to see more, not just at the Colloseum but also the Palatine Hill and Roman Forum

Great walking tour and spread out enough so crowd did not impact. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered questions. Forum and Coliseum are amazing as is the history and we are glad we visited. Design elements form the Coliseum are still used in today's stadiums.
The preservation techniques were conducive to understanding and viewing the artifacts.

We wanted to see the arena floor so these tickets were worth it. Quick 1 hour tour. Ticket good for Roman forum access the next day. Daisuke was our guide. Enthusiastic. Headsets worked well and he was willing to take pics. Got what we wanted!

The tour moves at a consistent brisk pace. There is lot of archaeological history. The tour company provides headphones so that you can hear the guide. Our guide was born in Italy. He spoke a little too quickly for me so I missed a lot of what he said.

Is very similar to other tours of the Colosseum. The guide (archaeologist) was well selected. There was no intention of letting us into the Forum with the ticket despite sales claims that this is the case.

The four of us spent a hot summer day with Lorenzo. He did a great job with stories surrounding the Colosseum. Everything was paced well and he kept things interesting. 3 hrs was a lengthy time- but helped create a complete picture. Younger kids may have a harder time- but the adults will learn a lot.

Bring water and shade if going in the summer months. The tour guide was very informative and engaging but it was a long and hot tour with little shade. Teens got a little antsy after a few hours.
