Wonderful morning escape from Rome

Seeing how everyday people lived was amazing. The kitchens/restaurant and baths we're incredible. A great site if you love history. Guide was informative and driver pointed out sites of interest on the way. If you go in the summer bring water, hats, and wear sunscreen - you'll need it.

I highly recommend this trip to any history enthusiast. Ostia is amazing and so much bigger than I imagined. You will experience the actual complete city, not just one house or temple.
