- Civitavecchia Port Directions: After you have collected your luggages, head trough custom and out in the arrival hall. Your driver will be waiting just outside the arrival hall holding a signboard with lead traveller name on it.
- in the unlikely event that you cannot locate the driver at the meeting point, or if you are delayed in customs, immigration, baggage collection or lost luggage, it is your responsibility to call the emergency number or send an email to make contact. If you fail to call the emergency contact number within 30 minutes of the actual landing time for airport collections, and as such the service provider is not made aware of the problem, the service will be considered a no show.

The driver was early, in order to make sure he wasn’t late, which worked out perfectly for us. The vehicle was very nice and clean. There was room for a large suitcase, a rolling suitcase/garment bag, and two roller carryon bags. More would’ve fit if needed. The driver was friendly and professional. We would definitely book this service again.

Driver was professional and on time at pick up. Only negative was cost. To much for when currency exchange is factored in, at least for us Canadians. Civitavecchia port to Rome airport $518.00 CDN. 45 min drive.

Pick up was seamless at the cruise port and our driver was actually there early, so didn't have to wait at all.
The service was fine but expensive. I found the operator to be a bit difficult to communicate with. Leaving the cruise ship early, there wasn’t much flexibility or understanding that the time could fluctuate based on the ship getting clearance to disembark.

you changed it again the morning of the transfer asking for an earlier pick up and driver driver was already there waiting!!!!

Piece of mind!! Met right at the terminal, loaded luggage, helped the ladies in, light music. At the airport, right to the terminal, in a hour. Had a 1pm flight. Made it with 2 hours to spare. Very safe driver.
Our driver Osvaldo showed up much earlier at the cruise port in Civitavechia so it worked up perfect for us. He was very professional and helpful. We had a nice ride to the airport and made it on time for our flight back home.

Scheduled this service to be picked up after a 10 day cruise on Royal Caribbean. Scheduled the driver for 7am we were let off the ship exactly at 630am and the driver came at 645. We arrive at FCO at 740am plenty enough time for our 11am flight back to the states.
Friendly, courteous, and on time. In fact, our driver arrived early because he was concerned about heavy traffic due to the transportation strike. We disembarked from the ship early and our driver was already there so no longer wait for us. So convenient. Thank you!!
The driver was nice getting he met us at the port he was going to meet us at 830 am but he showed up at about 815 nice ride to the airport
Driver showed up on time at the port on time (right as we debarked), helped us with luggage and took us to FCO on time. Excellent service.
Didnt send English speaking driver. He was driving so slow because he was also texting/ looking at his phone while driving?! Then dropped us off far from our terminal. Never said thank you.
Fyi: Taxi is only $130 flat rate to/ from port to airport! Wish I had known. Hope this info helps someone else

driver was so slow? what does it means?
driver did not speak english? not all drivers speak english and for a simple transfer the extensive knowledge of english is not mandatory...
your trip from the port to the airport at 8 am took 51 minutes and its the standard time to cover the distance ...
Driver was speeding for much of the trip 160km/hr or 99 mph. This was at least 30mph over the speed limit. It was very scary. After I texted the trip coordinator, he called him and asked him to slow down. $224 to risk life and limb. The coordinator even messaged later that he was not speeding. He most definitely was but did slow down after the coordinator called him.

hello, driver was driving at 130 km/h (we have gps on our cars) that is the speed limit, I did call him and ask to slow down ...
you was in the car and you have should done the same if felt unsafe.
Once we over came the language barrier he was able to help us since we had a change in our destination. Smooth and quick trip. Thanks again

I have used viator for my transfers from the
Airport to the Pier in several Countries, My most recent one being the Rome, Italy Airport to the
Rome Pier. Everything went very smoothly with my driver and car. Very happy with the service.
The driver arrived about 15 minutes prior to the time I'd booked, which was great because we actually got off the ship an hour earlier than I'd expected. Outside the terminal where Royal Caribbean had docked, I had super poor cell phone connectivity so trying to modify the pickup time at that point was nearly impossible. The driver had a sign with our name on it and was very friendly and an excellent driver. Overall, this was a very good way to get transported to the Rome airport.
