The tours were fine, we especially enjoyed Alessandra on the Palatine/Colesseum tour with her animated interpretation of Roman history. The hotel though leaves a lot to be desired., too far from the city, and the location was not to our liking. Our room was clean in appearance but there was this odor emanating from I don't know where, sewer maybe? Smells like rotten eggs? It starts from the hallway, worse in the bedroom. Maybe the staff does'nt notice it because their senses are used to it but to its the first that greets the nose even before you enter the room. I have nothing bad to say about the staff, they were friendly, informative and welcoming. I rate the hotel a 2.

This four day trip is absolutely worth it. I’m a solo female traveler, and really wanted to come to Rome to experience it. I was worried about the safety, not experiencing enough, and not knowing where to go for tours. This Best of Rome covered everything I needed. They picked me up from the airport, picked me up for all of the tours, and dropped me off at the airport at the end. The hotel was perfect, I paid for the 3 star option and they ended up giving me the 4 star option for free. They gave me their number for contact, but everything was well laid out before the trip, so I only reached out a few times. Anyways, this trip is absolutely perfect for solo trips for anyone (with their parents having an eased mind), it would also be very suited for families/couples who want a few days to explore the beautiful Italian city. I absolutely recommend:)

This is a wonderful package. Consider adding the Big Bus Rome Night Tour (8:00 pm) the day you arrive for an overview of the city. This allows you to get your bearings of the city. We love the hotel Residence Avenue Roma because of the size and the personal relationship with the proprietors. Only 10 rooms. We wanted a real Italian experience and we got one.
