The whole voucher was totally disorganized. The green line bus driver and worker on board did not know anything about where to get the ticket for the Vatican. When we presented the voucher to the bus driver, they should have given us the ticket for the entire thing. Instead, we walked about 2 miles to find the location. We stopped along the way, probably five times and nobody knew where it was. The people inside the office where we picked up the voucher for the Vatican work very rude as well besides that the tour guide was awesome

What an absolutely wonderful experience that should not be missed! Our Vatican tour guide had 20 years of experience doing tours and the Vatican and was just amazing. She knew her history well and how to tell the story of Vatican well to the 27 people in our group. The company who directed and set up our tour was wonderful as well. They communicated often before the tour and even called us on the morning of the tour to make sure we knew when and where we should be. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Please keep in mind thought that August in Rome is very hot and humid and you are walking through the Vatican for almost three hours. Spring or fall might be a better option if possible.

We were in Rome unbeknownst to us on a holiday for Italy. Unfortunately everything was very crowded, which meant skip the line tickets were still an hour and a half past our time. We were rushed by our guide in the Vatican, she did not share much and marched us through the museums, dumped us int the Sistine Chapel and left. There was no guidance beforehand on what we were to do, what we could do after the Sistine and we felt lost. The hop on hop off bus was a long ways from some sites, we took, subways, and trains to be more conveniently located.

Hop on hop off bus took to long at each stop because the checking of tickets and issue of tickets was manual and took very long per passenger

Only one of three routes open because of a national military celebration which would have been knowable information but was not shared. Getting in was chaotic as there was no clear ticketing system and it took several minutes for each person boarding to show a ticket yet no visible pass was given so their process was repeated each time. We were only able to get on twice because of the confusion with ticketing and no routes. Did not see one place of interest on the route as it didn’t go anywhere near any famous places of interest. I would use the red hop on hop off bus instead.

But the green line tour bus is not recommended .
Frequency is not good.

Alisa was an amazing tour guide. We felt a little rushed through the first couple of museum galleries. Raphael and Sistine chapel were amazing. Hop on hop off a joke. Waited for almost an hour for bus then sent across Termini station to cath a different bus. Almost late for our appointment for Vatican tour because of it.

Awful. Stay away. Bus is terrible, always full and consistently late. So late it made me miss my vatican tour. I then booked one for that same day on the afternoon and it was awful. The tour guide was really boring and I just wanted the tour to be over quickly. Sistine chapel was amazing of course.
