We had a great time on this cruise - it said BYOB, so we brought wine, but they also had free mai tais and snacks as well. The crew was very entertaining, and they played a good mix of music for all ages. The boat was very nice with lots of seating for everyone. I would happily book this again (and bring a cheese board to snack on next time)!

The information that I received stated to get there 39 minutes early with the boat leaving at 5:30 pm. My party arrived at 4:45 pm and was told we were too late and could not get on the boat. They stated that they sent a text message that I was not aware of. I got the message at 3:46 pm and it said to be there by 4:11 pm. It would have been next to impossible for my party of 7 to be able to make that deadline. The lack of empathy for our situation also made things more difficult. We were offered the chance to reschedule for the next but have we already have plans. A refund could not be made at the site but I later received an email from Viator that a full refund will be issued in 3-5 days.

Very confusing information given regarding excursion, fuel charge, snorkeling tour, where the pier was vs where the check-in area was, and the people who checked us in seemed to be snappy and somewhat inconsiderate. However the staff on ship was pleasant and very helpful, if it wasn’t for them, this cruise would have been a complete failure.

As of 9/8/25 Nice clean boat! Great crew very friendly! Post card sunset view of Waikiki! Free Mia Tias!(Not top shelf, but not bad at all)Free snacks and soft beverages! Would recommend to anyone visiting Waikiki. Half the cost of other cruises! According to deck hand grilled food soon to be added.

Nice cruise. Sunset was beautiful as were fireworks. No alcohol so bring your own if you need. Staff did a great job. Water was a bit choppy if you’re sensitive to those type of issues. With a full boat, volume could overwhelm those sensitive to loud environments.

The staff on the boat was so much fun! Great music & snacks/water & mai tais were included. We also were able to bring our own alcohol! We caught a gorgeous sunset.
There was a hidden additional $7 fuel surcharge that we bad to pay upon arriving at the dock.

Get there 40 minutes before departure and bring your own alcohol and eat something before hand. They have a mixed drink for free and chips,snacks and sodas. Make sure to have some tip money as thd crew works for tips and they were actually superb

The only reason I put one star is because I had to put a rating to write my comment.
In reality we could not make the cruise because there was a long line up on the highway from our hotel in Kaanapali to the port where the cruise was conducted.
The hotel reception told me it would take 25 minutes to reach there. I kept a provision of one hour, but Google maps put the actual time to almost 1 hour 45 minutes when we were on the highway.
This misadventure cost me the price of two tickets for the cruise plus taxi was $75 and we had dinner at Hula Grill in Whalers Village (to see the sunset from there) that cost us a further $100.
The organising company said they had sent me an email regarding the possible delay. I did not receive this email but would suggest that Viator informs all its tour companies to call by phone when such road emergencies arise.
Sad to have missed this cruise. At least the organisers agreed to refund one of the two tickets purchased.

We really enjoyed this cruise because the boat was spacious, two levels, snacks, soft drinks and Mai Tais included. We had kids with us and were happy to find out that this cruise was very laid back with Hawaiian music that wasn’t obnoxiously loud, soft drinks, Mai Tais and snacks included, nice staff. Highly recommend to couples and families wanting to be away from the crazy party boats with loud music and heavy drinking.

Loved this activity. The catamaran was little bumpy due to the waves but my kid had a blast with that. Boat was clean and crew were friendly. Definitely will do it again.

This sunset tour was everything I hoped for and more. The atmosphere on board was absolutely perfect, relaxing, scenic, and full of good vibes. The snacks and drinks was great.
The two guys running the tour were incredibly kind and attentive, making everyone feel welcome and taken care of. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and it made the evening feel that much more special. I would do it again!

This is a two-story ship. I didn't expect it to shake this much compared to a big ship! Mai tai was delicious and all-you-can-drink, but one drink was all I could do. The sunset cruise was so good. It was beautiful. I just said there was a glassboard, so I took my grandson on board and I couldn't see anything. We had food, drink and alcoholic drinks, and the sunset was beautiful and very satisfying. The toilets are clean. But I think the description of seeing a lot of fish on the brushboard is wrong.
