Swim with sharks in a natural, cage-free environment on this small, intimate, family-run snorkel adventure. There’s no need to be afraid, since the sharks and other marine life you’ll be swimming with are harmless to humans.
Your tour starts when you show up at the departure point to meet your small group and guide in Haleiwa, on Oahu’s North Shore. You’ll be given snorkel gear to use, so you don’t need to source that separately.
You’ll head out to the deep blue water where you can watch people swimming with sharks, then get into the water yourself. You’ll spend around a half hour in the water with the sharks, unless you want to come up to the boat sooner, which is always an option.

Absolutely fantastic experience, from someone who is (was) terrified of sharks! Staff are caring and attentive to make sure everyone is comfortable. They are knowledgeable of the environment and took the time to answer any questions. This is a family owned business which made the experience even better! 100/10 recommend. Great shark dive experience. The boat was clean, the crew was amazing and we felt safe the whole time being in the water
We had such an amazing time! The whole crew made you feel so comfortable and reassured that we were safe. We saw quite a few Galapagos sharks and to our surprise two very large tiger sharks paid us a visit too! It was an experience we will never forget!!!
This was the coolest thing we’ve ever done. We could not have asked for a better crew to be with! They treated us like locals and made us feel so comfortable. It’s a family business and they’ve been doing it for years and knew exactly what to look for and how to make this experience safe. 10/10 just incredible
Park in the back parking lot and maybe wear more covered clothes because I got stung. Awesome nonetheless! Ocean is so peaceful

This tour was awesome! The guides were very professional, kind, and knowledgeable. They also took incredible photos and videos. It was about a 15-minute boat ride out to the dive site, and then we spent around 30 minutes snorkeling with the sharks. Absolutely book this tour!

I normally don’t write reviews but I just had to for this one. This was hands down the best experience of my life and if you’re on the fence about doing it I 10000% recommend. The staff was very friendly and informative. We saw a group of tiger sharks before we even got in the water and jumped right in. The most surreal experience I’ll ever have and I’ve never felt safer. The safety divers did an absolute wonderful job and all around this was a 10/10 experience. Don’t skip out on this.
It’s fun and worth the spending. the staff is very helpful and friendly. You do need to know how to swim especially if the waves are high.

This experience was amazing! The guides were fantastic with everyone. We ended up with about 20 Galapagos sharks around us and a couple of barracuda. After the trip they provided us with a ton of photos and videos of our trip for free! I would definitely recommend this!

Overall, it was a good experience, and I enjoyed the opportunity to see and swim with the sharks. However, there were a few disappointing aspects that affected my overall impression.
For safety reasons, phones and cameras are not allowed, which I completely understand. The price of the experience includes professional photos that are supposed to capture your time in the water, so I was looking forward to receiving those. Unfortunately, I was in a group with several people who could not swim, so the guides understandably spent most of their time assisting them. Because of this, the photographer focused almost entirely on that group. Out of approximately 160 photos taken during the experience, only one included me. Since the photos are included in the price and are the only way guests can take home memories of the experience, this was extremely disappointing.
I’m also giving a lower rating because of the lack of customer service. My travel agent and I have both tried to contact the company multiple times since June, and neither of us has received a response. While the experience itself had its highlights, the poor communication and the lack of photos made it difficult to feel like I received the full experience I paid for.

Fun couple of hours on the water with a family run business that was very well organised, safe and they made sure we saw plenty of sharks. We had about 20 Galapagos ones swimming around us, plus a nosey barracuda.
There is no sign at the dock or on the boat. I was an hour early and almost missed it because I was in the wrong place.
We had an amazing experience swimming with sharks today. The crew was really experienced and also environmentally friendly. They brought us to a location they knew would have sharks and we were lucky. We saw a tiger shark and later about 7 Galapagos sharks. They took beautiful photos of us and the sharks. My daughter was nervous initially but she was so happy she did it. It was really an incredible experience.
The tour is worth every penny ! The staff is very nice and helpful. I’m not the strongest swimmer and was terrified with how deep the ocean is but definitely wanted to do this. They talk to us before leaving about the game plan and what to expect.
Provided floating devices and even held my hand to guide me around so I didn’t get taken by the current. Showed me how to use the snorkel equipment I was a first time user and it was all very easy and fun! Stress free!
However I would bring a bottle of water for when you are done swimming.
Super cool! The guides are super kind and guide you through the water! I was scared at first to go into the open ocean but got comfortable knowing the guides were close by. It was so cool to see the sharks! They even take complementary photos!
Absolutely incredible time with the Island View crew! They made us feel welcomed right away and were very attentive to everyone’s needs. The photos/videos are an awesome addition to this adventure and we are so thankful for the memories and that we didn’t have to worry about getting any photos ourselves (personal cameras are not allowed in the water). Overall, it was an incredible trip with a great team

My brother had wanted to swim with sharks ever since his last visit to Hawaii. This time we finally had the opportunity to do it together, and it exceeded all of our expectations. The crew was professional, friendly, and made us feel safe throughout the entire experience. Seeing the sharks up close in their natural environment was both exciting and breathtaking. My brother hasn’t stopped talking about it since it was easily one of the best experiences of his life. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone visiting Hawaii and looking for a unique and unforgettable experience.
