Derek and Kamo were very friendly and helpful in calming Amy fear or nervousness we had. Everyone had fun and saw sharks. We even saw a whale. Highly recommend this tour for all ages. The waters were a little rough but it was still fun.

Captain Derek and Kanani were excellent and I felt very safe. There were so many sharks it was unbelievable and the water was actually very comfortable and not cold, like i thought it would be. Even though the water was choppy I was able to get great underwater pictures of family and the sharks. I went with my niece, so glad she talked me into this great experience, an experience of a life time and well worth it !!! We had enough time in the water to enjoy the full experience. We were also able to shark watch from the boat because the water is absolutely CLEAR, great pictures from above also. Can't wait to do it again and bring the grandkids.

Chumming is illegal nowadays so the sharks are coming because they hear the sound of the boat and it mimics crabbing which is like a Pavlovian response. The sharks were huge and the water was clear and such a dark blue. Completely safe from the sharks while we were in the cage, but the choppy water makes it a challenge to get really good pictures of your party without looking like you’re in a washing machine. It was completely worth it though and my kids gave it a 10/10 compared to all the other events we did on Maui and Oahu!

What an incredible experience! Haleiwa Shark Diving was hands down one of the coolest family adventures we've ever had. Seeing around 20 sharks circling our cage was absolutely breathtaking—something we'll never forget. It was exciting, safe, and unlike anything we've ever done before.
Our kids absolutely loved it and haven't stopped talking about it since. The crew was professional, friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable from start to finish.
One of the highlights was meeting local waterman Kala Alexander. We've been huge fans for years, watching him surf the North Shore, so it was amazing to meet him in person. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and so knowledgeable about the ocean and the sharks. You can tell he has a deep respect for the water, and hearing him share his experience made the trip even more special.
If you're visiting Oahu and looking for a truly unforgettable adventure, don't miss Haleiwa Shark Diving. It was the highlight of our trip, and we'll definitely be going again on our next trip!

Absolutely amazing opportunity to get close and personal with sharks. They were within a 12 inch distance at times, as they were amazingly harmless. The experience was something that everyone must do once.

This was such a great experience! We got to see turtles, dolphins, and sharks. The crew members were fantastic with kids, and my family had an amazing time. I highly recommend this adventure!

We had the most amazing time shark diving with Haleiwa Shark Tours. My family saw so many sharks!! And I can’t say enough about the crew. They were all so fun!! This is a trip that we would definitely do again!!

I felt like I was in an episode of shark week on Animal Planet. Literally floating around in a cage with 6 Galapagos Sharks just circling you and just as curious about us as we were them. Even little fish swam into the cage to say hello. But for people that chose not to get into the cage, the crew lured the sharks to the surface with splashes so everyone had a chance to see the sharks. This was a bucket list tour

Wonderful experience! Captains (father and son) do a fantastic job of providing a safe and fun adventure. If you are prone to sea sickness, I would follow this company's online advice to take motion sickness medicine prior to your tour.

It was drizzling the day we went and it actually made things better. The water was calm and the sharks were active. The crew is a local dad and son and they were wonderful! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw 9 sharks.

It was overall a great time. They made accommodations for the cloudy water becuase of the storms. They were able to give us the best experience with what Mother Nature provided. Friendly staff. Captain Lou and Koma were great. (Ship Kamalo? Big silver boat) not sure on spelling.

Such a great experience with such knowledgeable crew who taught us and took great care of us!! Bring a go pro to take pics!! And take something for nausea cause the waves are crazy! Once in a lifetime experience we saw like 5 galapago sharks!! Lono and maca were awesome!!

10/10 experience! We saw two different species of sharks. There were about 7 sharks swimming around the cage the whole time and I felt very safe in the cage. It was great that there was an option to stay on the boat and observe so the whole family can go whether or not they want to get in the cage. And there were two humpback whales that you could see from the boat. Definitely recommend!

The whole experience was easy and stress-free. The guys were great, knowledgeable, helpful, and fun. My whole party felt safe and looked after for the duration of the trip, and the sharks were so beautiful! We loved that the operation was owned and run by native Hawaiians, and 100/10 would do again.

It was a great experience to see sharks swimming so close to you. The water was so clear and you could see the sharks right in front of you! There were so many. We were given ample amount of time to be in the water. The ride is choppy so please take dramamine if you’re sea sick. The crew was helpful and took good care of us. Overall excellent activity

We were really excited to do as it came recommended from a friend, but we faced issues related to the operator rescheduling our trip. The front desk called us and told us that there weren’t enough people to do the 8 a.m. tour, so we were asked to switch to the 9 a.m. one. We had to rent a car to get to the location, with a lot of traffic on the way due to rush hour! We requested the operator to give us 5-10 mins, but the lady at the desk refused, saying they’re on a tight schedule (this is after we agreed to switch on their request). So I had to really stress on the freeway to get there on time, risking a ticket and safety in a rental. The office offered us a free “GoPro rental” in return for making this change, and this wasn’t worth it since no one actually offered us the GoPro option on the boat. I asked about it on the boat but actually instead got up-sold a different photo package for 130 bucks. The photos at the top were murky, didn’t capture any excitement or what we expected. The group in front of us in the cage went in 30 mins with the sun out, while we were asked to bounce out in 15 mins in cloudy weather due to “time” constraints. One of the other visitors also kept kicking me in the face as soon as a shark approached us, acting out in fear of getting bit on her feet - this was ridiculous with the snorkel on, and I had to take the time out to inform her of her behavior (while this isn’t my job here - but lack of attention from the crew). We did see some dolphins as a “bonus” from around 100-150 mts away but had to still rush to the airport in the bad weather after seeing a total of 2 sharks for ~ 15 mins. The crew on the boat also lacked knowledge of what features to look for, being asked how to tell apart tiger and Galapagos sharks. We understand these tours are a business to profit from tourists, but this felt like a water taxi run for a disingenuous wildlife experience with an inattentive crew. Please do better and show some empathy for your customers.
