Did not follow the itinerary. We really wanted to stop in Haleiwa town as advertised but it did not happen. I suggest Viator get in touch with Daniel’s and advertise the accurate trip. Was a good way to get an idea of the island and see some highlights. Christine was very informative and knew a lot about the island.

Tour did not follow iternary. Disappointed. Tour guide was nice and where we did stop was nice. People in group treated the tour more like a taxi than a tour... may talked during the ride while guide was trying to share information of sites. I should have paid more attention to the reviews. I only saw review that mentioned this but it was an important review. Driver seemed completely shocked when brought to her attention. I will not recommend this trip until the iternary reflects the tour truthfully. Please do not make excuses regarding traffic or people did not adhere to time for stops... this would not be true.

The Small Group Excursion Provider (Daniels) charged extra for pickup, and Was late.
The Company of Daniels (employees) were not on the same page, which made it difficult to advised my 14 Family members of instructions, payment and time of pickup. However, the Driver apologized, and was quite friendly, and cooperative to fulfilled contract set forth by Viator. There is much confusion within the Daniels' Office among the employees. This makes it difficult to do future business with them.

Time is an estimate. Be flexible and gracious. Do not get the pineapple whip where you stop for lunch, wait til you go to Dole. It is the best!

This was amazing! especially for solo travelers who have a day or two extra and want to still get out beyond the main strip. The samples, the shops the locations, the information of history was immaculate! Our driver Tyler was absolutely the best and took great care of us! i wouldn’t want it any other way ❤️✨

Big waves on the North Shore are seasonal and unfortunately we didn’t go in the right season. The rest of the tour and our guide Nevin was great. Dole could have been skipped as it was too crowded and too short. My only complaint was they don’t pick up at the cruise port.

This was excellent and personal. There were three of us on the tour. All from Perth Western Australia so there was a connection already. The tour guide talked about being a local and his experiences growing up as well as his present family and the places they go to swim, snorkel and surf. He talked about the flora or lack thereof. He showed us Tommy the Turtle and friends. The differences between the geography/geology of the island and comparison with other islands in the Hawaiian Chain. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day and I would recommend it to any tourist who wanted to see more then the beach at Waikiki.

The stops are spectacular views or touristy bathroom breaks. Both appreciated. The van is a little tight if full. Tyler did his best to provide a memorable trip.

This tour is great for first time visitors but this was not the tour I paid for. I booked the Small Group North Shore Circle Island Tour that included stops in Haleiwa Town and Giovanni Shrimp Truck which were mainly my interest since I’ve visited the other stops in my previous trips. I only found out that these were not included when the driver mentioned all the stops inside the coach when we were on our way. I showed the driver the itinerary of the tour I paid for and he apologized that he’s unable to accommodate us for those places since he’s doing the Oahu Circle Island Tour. I’m presuming that if there was not enough booking on the tour I paid for, Daniels Hawaii could have just cancelled it and refunded me so I can book with a different company that offered the tour instead of putting me on a different one which I’m not interested in. I’m really disappointed and feel like I’ve been ripped off and I think I’m entitled to a refund. On top of that I did not bring my water bottle coz the tour shows bottled water is included in the price but there was no bottled water in the bus. I’m never going to recommend Daniels Hawaii Tour to family and friends.

My husband and I took this tour on our first trip to Hawaii. We decided to take the tour to get outside of Honolulu and see the beauty of Oahu. We are so glad we did. Tyler was a good tour guide. We appreciated that he grew up on Oahu and he has a lot of knowledge and history to share. He did a good job of getting us to the promised locations. Would recommend to this tour to everyone.

Our tour guide was friendly and fun. She knew everything about the places we passed by and also the places we stopped. Even little things like ‘this is the last bathroom stop with toilet paper’ were extremely helpful in the context of the trip! A great way to see the island and a tour I would recommend it if you prefer to be part of a smaller group

Heather was our tour guide and she was wonderful-knowledgeable and entertaining. She was a great driver too. We had a small but good group to spend the day with which contributed to the vibes. The tour stops were fun and of course the food was a treat. We would recommend this day tour to others.

Great tour; Heather was outstanding. The challenge: Major road construction in the North Shore area, which caused a major delay. Luckily, no one in our group had evening plans, so getting back late (almost 2 hours late) was ok. The road construction has been going on since 2021, so the tour company needs to advertise this as a longer excursion OR shorten the stops (which would make the tour less valuable). My point: Returning almost two hours later than scheduled isn't ok (especially since the cause of the delay, road construction = congested traffic) is well known!).

This tour is only good if you need to learn your surroundings. We booked it cause we wanted to see the turtles where parking was very limited for visitors. Turned out they advertise it and YOU DONT GO to the turtle beach. Their ad is false. They say you stop at so many places but you don’t. I ended up renting my own car for my family to go back on our own to stop at the places. We got out 3 times took group pictures and that’s it. The rest you drive by. It was also a bummer cause even though our guide was nice, she took our group pictures but she commented on how expensive her life was every hour. She was so negative at times it left us with a sour taste in our mouths. We worked hard for our vacation and understand the world has many hardships but listening to negative comments on her life and how high her rent is, wasn’t very fun. We wanted a positive day but listening to her comments on how broke she was and then driving by every stop sucked. Spent a lot of money on this tour and she expected her tips as well of course but we didn’t do anything.

Heather was such an incredible part of this experience. Her kindness, patience, knowledge, and witty personality made the day extra special. Stopping for a local treat, the best shrimp, and teaching us about the culture as we went around the island. We saw so many sights and view points, it was the perfect way to see the real Oahu and I would highly recommend. Thanks again!

Waited over 45 minutes and no one showed up to pick us up. We left and they refuse to give us a refund. I called 3 times and no one answered until I requested a refund through Viator and then they decided to call back.

Unfortunately you didn't answer the phone. When you finally did answer you told our girls that you had left the pick up location and didn't want to go anymore.
YES, you would NOT be eligible for a refund!
However, Viator refunded you regardless of their regulations, costing us 2 seats that we could have sold to other guests and your negative review that's, while very creative, not true.
