Poor communication. Unique private experience.

Starting with the positive, our first mate Sammy was top notch. Sitting up front with the sail up was amazing and totally worth it. Lara was very kind. Booking was tough. We booked through Viator and got an email confirmation. The morning before we were set to sail I called the company and left a voicemail requesting a call back about our cruise the next day. Never got a call back. The morning of our cruise, I called again and spoke with someone who told me they had no reservation for us. They’ve been having trouble with Viator bookings. They offered options to accommodate up to trying to get a captain to the bot right away. That didn’t pan out, so we agreed to reschedule for a couple of days later. We got a text message an hour and a half before our rescheduled cruise that we were getting pushed back a half an hour. The snorkeling wasn’t worth it, too murky that day to see anything, which was just weather. So, we all got on the boat and asked if we could just ride around or something. The captain asked if we wanted to sail and we all said yes. Sailing made much more sense. It would have been great if we understood our options earlier in the trip. Or if we had options about where to go. We felt like we were just kind of hanging.
