Your exciting Oahu adventure combo begins at your hotel lobby, when your local guide meets you at the door in a 15-passenger van. From there you’ll drive past Punchbowl Crater (Puowaina) up the slopes of Tantalus Mountain (Pu’u ‘Ohia), and be fit with your Kona mountain bike, helmet, and gear for biking.
On the 5-mile (8-km) cruise down Pu’u Ohia, you’ll occasionally stop to photograph viewpoints of Oahu’s southern shoreline, where the scenery stretches all the way from Diamond Head (Le’ahi Crater) to the Wai’anae Mountains in the west. You’ll also get unforgettable views of the Honolulu skyline.
Throughout the ride, your guide provides you with expert narration on the area’s history and culture, and when you reach the grassy park at the bottom, it’s a short drive to Kewalo Basin for your 2-hour catamaran sail.
Find a seat on the comfortable deck as the crew casts off the bowlines, and enjoy the views of Diamond Head as seen from out on the water. As long as the wind and weather permits, you’ll have the chance to jump in the water and snorkel with colorful reef fish, or you can simply lie out and tan on the deck with the wind blowing gently through your hair.
At the end of the Oahu snorkeling sail, you’ll be transported back to your Waikiki hotel in a comfortable, air-conditioned van, and since all equipment is included on this tour. Just remember your bathing suit!

The entire experience was awesome, but the Sail & Snorkel was the best, not only did we have a great time snorkeling we got to see a whale and have dolphons swim along side us on the way back to the pier. Would definitely recommend doing this trip.

Great tour! It was not the best weather conditions but our guides made the best of it and we had a blast! The two teenage girls with us said it was the best part of the trip so far. Snorkeling was great! Was overcast and a bit chilly but saw lots of turtles and sea life! Guide was very knowledgeable and laid back. Would do it again.

The bike ride was down a steep, bumpy, curvy hill. I would not recommend this to anyone that does not regularly ride a bike.

Aloha Allen, mahalo for riding with us. Yes, a few areas of this paved mountain road currently has potholes and we slow way down for those short sections. But, most of this road is still smooth and enjoyable. As always, our bike van follows behind for any beginner riders that may not want to continue. We have been leading families with kids on this route for 23 years. Thank you for your review.

Nice combo
This is a lightly strenuous and highly scenic activity. This bike ride takes you in a van up a hill and then you ride down this beautifully forested tropical jungle! One guide rose I’m fro t and another followed the group in a van, very safe. Terry was the driver and is literally an encyclopedia of Hawaiian knowledge, great guide. Emily was our sweet bike pilot and good at photo ideas 👍🏼
Second half was Cat/Snorkel, Captain Crash, his dog Sushi, and 2nd mate Jordan were awesome. My first time snorkeling ever and saw beautiful sea life and turtles. Crash even provided snacks! Much Mahalo and Aloha for good time.

This is the type of adventure that would be good for an older family. The mountain we biked down was nothing but hairpin turns, I think it would be good for 12 to 14-year-old at the youngest. The guilds were good at keeping us safe from oncoming and passing traffic. At the end of the ride, they dropped took my husband and i to the dock for the snorkeling adventure.
The snorkeling part I do not recommend for young children. There were children on our tour. The one around the age of 4 refused to get into the water and the one around 6 had a bit of a meltdown. The 10-year-old was having a great time and was in the water faster than anyone. I think they were the last ones on the boat even.
Hawaii waves are spicier than East Coast waves, so seasickness can happen on the boat or in the water.

We were picked up by our bike guide, and drive about 5 minutes before pulling over on the side of the road for an entire hour. Got picked up at 12pm, sat on the side of the road until almost 1pm. “Waiting for another guide to show up” when he finally did show up we headed on our way. The biking was nothing special for 100$ a person……the bikes were not well maintained.
The snorkel group / sail was fun. Personally I would just book this separately and skip the scam bike ride all together…….
Really wish I could get a REFUND for my bike ride. We sat there for an hour in a hot van, while the “guide” talked our ears off about things completely irrelevant to the entire experience.
