This ticket is only for SNORKEL GEAR RENTAL, we DON'T include the Hanauma Bay admission ticket. You can get the tickets 48 hours before or on the same day(200 tickets for the walk-in customers). This includes a snorkel mask, tube with a dry top, & fins. Life Vest/Belts are available upon request.

I don’t think it was clear enough that snorkeling entry is NOT included; extremely misleading. I asked for a refund and they would not provide it.

Not only is the entry fee is clearly communicated at multiple points during the booking process. It is stated on our website, prior to confirming your booking and on the page you purchased this on. You also were talking with us back and forth asking about how to get tickets, therefore you knew this was just gears. You were unsuccessful at getting tickets, which we understand how frustrating that is but our team wrote a step by step detailed instructions on how you can still get into the bay the day of. Therefore yes your refund request was denied because you were originally booked on one day, and we made an exception to reschedule you for another date. Since we made an exception for you we were clear in the message that you would not receive a refund.

The woman running it was super nice. We got our gear quickly and had no issues. The only downsides were that the place isn't conveniently located - we thought we'd be able to walk from here to Hanauma Bay, but it's about a 7 minute drive, so we had to do a second rideshare to get there. The goggles also fogged up frequently, but with choosing a cheaper rental option, I wasn't totally surprised by that. Also if you choose to rent here, make sure you have a pass to enter into the bay, as it's not included. The inconveniences were rectified by the fact that there is a Leonard's bakery in the parking lot selling fresh malasadas - the best we've ever had.

They didn’t put any fog spray on the goggles so they fogged up the whole time. They were for snorkeling so I used my friends mask majority of the time.

Hi elsa, we are sorry that you didn't have a great experience at the bay. Masks tend to fog up when you breath through your nose, we recommend trying to breath from your mouth to avoid fogging. We apologize if the driver wasn't clear about that part.

We were not able to get tickets to Haunama Bay and they refused to refund us our money. We were told to take our snorkel gear to another beach.

Aloha, our snorkel gear rentals have no affiliation to Hanauma bay as stated on our website and repeated to you when you rent the equipment. Its written in many different places before booking.

Kiamana Tours staff was very helpful. Our goal was to have a nice snorkeling experience at Hanauma Bay. Mission accomplished! Kiamana Tours, where we picked up the gear, was very informative and nice. They answered all of our questions. From Waikiki Beach to Kiamana Tour is less than 10 miles away. Kiamana Tour is about 1.6 miles from Hanauma Bay. Your basic tours to see marine life averages around $80-$150 per person. If you want to save a couple of bucks and spend the day at Hanauma Bay, this is the way to go.

First of all you need to explain the process in your advertising! Pur experience was exhausting to say the least. First you told me to cancel. Y reservation because I was driving. So I rented equipment. The man would note us in. Then he did. Lady told us we had to wait until 1240 to go. It was 9am. We had another engagement at 2pm. There was no way we would have made that. So it appears that we were on stand by. Actually I got into trouble because I actually drove in. We were outby 11am. Bad bad advertising.

When renting snorkeling equipment we have no association to Hanauma Bay, it just states we are located near the Bay. You're free to snorkel wherever on the island. We are simply a snorkel shop.
Thank you for your feedback but I believe this review was better meant for Hanauma Bay Park.

The people at the dive shop were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately you have to have a reservation for the mandatory video training to be allowed in the water. That has to be made in advance with the park service, then it's $25 cash per person to snorkeling in Hanauma bay plus parking ( also cash only). Get all those things in place before you rent your gear.

I found that renting the gears for snorkelling and then paying park tickets is a lot cheaper than doing a whole tour. The snorkelling gear was good quality and if you go early , you avoid the crowds. Hanauma bay is absolutely stunning and the fish 🐟 variety is fantastic

Sorry that you didn’t read the product description before you buy. The VIATOR website explain very well before customers complete the booking. This package is a snorkel gear rental and you made this booking overnight.When we opened our store our attendant called you to reconfirm that you are coming 7:30 am ( the time your voucher states)but you never answered our phone call. You sent the email saying that you drove to the other place, and we told you to come to our store, that we have everything ready for you, but you didn’t come. That’s the reason for no refund.

Did not get a chance to use the snorkel gear, (waste of money spent)
What appeared to be city officials were only allowing entrance to groups of 50 people at a time, creating a bottleneck with approx 500 people just waiting on the grass, very disorganized event, tried to patiently wait for almost 2 hours to get into the beach . Whilst getting scolded by city officials to not step on the grass, rock or trees, getting yelled at for trying to pass the time by playing catch with my son on what would have been our father & son bonding time whilst snorkeling. Disappointing

The most horrible thing about this is that the company called me prior to the service date to tell me to be at the park at 7:30(opening time 8am). Ok cool, we go to the park at 6:30 to be safe bc we are not locals and understand this is a popular excursion. However, the company never mentioned to be I would be picking up my snorkel equipment outside of the park. Outside of the park. I had to say it again bc with a family of 6 to purchase something that is not located in the park is a CRUCIAL AND VITAL pertinent information. So- there was no snorkel gear rental.
So- in conclusion when the company calls, PLEASE be sure to let them know that. Absolutely horrible. And when I confronted the woman and let her know she did not tell me that information, she argues with me. Subpar customer service.

We are sorry that you didn’t have time to read your voucher after you purchased it. The voucher clearly states our store’s address and on the website you purchased these tickets at, it says that we are 5 minutes before Hanauma Bay and restates our address. One day before we call all of our customers as a friendly reminder, since customers already have all the information on their voucher since Viator already sends a text/email. We are sorry for this misunderstanding and we have refunded 50% back.

The people who work here are extremely nice, as to expect in paradise. They took care of us generously and even gave us a ride to our destination and picked us up for a small fee that was worth every penny. Even gave a few tips on where to go next for our adventure. Highly recommend, would happily come back on our next Hawaii trip. Which is hopefully sooner than later.
