Fun challenge that also teaches about culture and history

This was such a great cultural experience. The museum dresses are beautiful without being too overwhelming (can do in about 30 minurts, a little longer if you read everything). Our instructor was wonderful, dance is taught at a level that anyone (from 5 to 99 years of age) can enjoy. My five year old was engaged the whole time and better understands the talent of the hula dancers we have seen and my husband said it "broke his brain in a good way" figuring out what look like basic steps. I would highly recommend.

Brought my daughter in law with my two granddaughters. It was a great class! We loved the lesson!!! Super fun! (Our instructor was FABULOUS! Then we went to watch the hula performance at the Wailea to watch our instructor perform. That was amazing too! If you’re in wailea on a Tuesday, highly recommend the performance! Impressive!

This was sooo fun!! The instructor was great. We learned an entire 3-minute song routine! I'm not much of a dancer so I was impressed with how much I was able to learn! Would absolutely do it again.

Hula’s in my heart and soul

I’m a trained dancer, choreographer and teacher. I’ve danced hula for about 20 years. I was looking for a class just to have a good time on the island. This was perfect! I love supporting the local dance community and the culture. Got a workout and met a new dance friend! Mahalo…see you next time!
