Maui is one of the best spots in the Pacific to spot whales in the wild. With this small group tour from Lahaina, you'll head out to sea, where you'll likely not only spot whales, but also dolphins. There's also a hydrophone on board if you want to listen to whale songs. And if for some reason you don't see any whales on the day of your adventure, you'll be invited to take another trip at no extra charge.

This tour was incredible! Lacey and Lexi were great and so knowledgeable! We went later in the season so we were hopeful to get at least few sightings but we were fortunate that Lacey found a group of males and blew all of our expectations away. Lexi gave us lots of insights to their behavior and you could tell the whole staff has such a passion for what they do. I definitely recommend booking this tour!

We had the most incredible experience seeing a whale calve breach the surface numerous times for almost an hour. Also saw the mother many times as well.

The captain & crew were very informative in telling us about the whales, why they were there, how/what they eat, why they don't eat while here. Learned tons of info. We saw at least 10 whales, maybe more.

With us being near the end of Humpback whale season, our expectations were to hopefully see a whale or two, and wow did our captain/tour guide and the whales surpass our expectations. We learned a lot and a baby whale put on quite the show for us doing about 10-15 jumps out of the water towards the end of our tour!!!! What an amazing experience to see in person that my brother and I will never forget!

Even though it’s the end of the season, we were able to spot several, very close and breaching. Boat staff was wonderful, very knowledgeable. If you have small kids, maybe bring a life jacket along, just for your peace of mind.

We were treated to a rare and awesome experience. Our cruise was late April so it was getting down to the end of whale season in Maui. We saw a few whales early on then decided to find others. On our way to find others our crew, Reese and Chad, got a call that there was an ill whale. They are members of the whale rescue team and we headed to the ill whale. It was a hump back that had white spots all over it. They had not seen anything like this before. We followed the ill whale for over an hour often times getting very close to it as is stayed at the surface of the of the ocean as they tried to collect skin samples to study that the whale was leaving in the water. It was sad to see the whale suffering but the experience to get as close to it as we did and to watch the care and concern of the crew was awesome.

We had the BEST whale watch experience. We were able to meet a momma and baby. They were both breaching out of the water, splashing around and showing off for us.
Our guides were professional, knowledgeable and knew all about the whales and the local scene.

Jill and Lexie were great and knowledgeable! Even though it was late in the season, we still saw a whales and one baby that showed off for us as a finale before heading back to the dock! Also, the recommended happy hour spot after the tour had excellent food and drinks!

Sitting in the front of the boat was exhilarating and so much fun. Don't be afraid to get wet!Best seats i. The house. Don't forget to tip the Captain and crew when leaving.

Touring mid April close to the end of the season, we wondered if we would see any whales. But our tour guides knew just where to go. We saw several whales and two very unusual groups that our tour guides were even excited about: a mother and calf followed by a male who was displaying very aggressive behaviours even though there were no other whales nearby. About half an hour into following these three, another huge male appeared … and things changed quickly as they both fought for the uninterested female’s attention. On the way back, we came across an almost entirely white whale who was drifting lazily on the surface. A closer look to ensure there was no entanglement and a quick report in to ensure he was tracked and followed up on … and our tour came to and end. It was entertaining, highly educational, and a once in a lifetime experience. A tip of the hat to our gracious hosts!

The energy, knowledge, passion and experience were all 10/10. These guys have a very obvious love for whales and genuinely enjoy taking folks out to see them! Bonus we got to see them on 4/18/26, quite late in the season. This crew had a perfect balance with providing enough safe space for the whales but also had the ability to get us quite close to them. Will definitely be repeating visits in the future! Look no further than this company here!!

Good experience. The crew was very knowledgeable about whale migration and mating. It was interesting to learn and they answered all the questions. We didn’t see a lot of whales but they did a good job trying to find them

Great tour with small group of people. We were following a mom and baby humpback for more than an hour. Baby humpback put on an awesome show. Glad to see them during off-season in April.

We had an amazing experience during our time with your awesome crew . The food was great, the music was fun, and the snorkeling was so fun. A special shoutout to Charlie for being so helpful and amazingly positive with my very anxious daughter when it came to snorkeling. She showed so much patience and we really appreciated her. I we have done a few of these cruises , but this was definitely the the best time we have had. We have already recommended they to our friends going to Maui soon.

Captain got us out to the whales fast. Right away we saw a momma and her baby. Shortly after we saw many males fighting over a female. The whales came close by and even under our raft. It was an awesome sight. Our captain also told us a lot about the whales in Maui. Very fun trip. Would recommend and do again.

Fabulous excursion with an amazing and knowledgeable crew They tried hard to locate as many whales as possible and answered all our questions. Lacy and her naturalist rocked! They added to the fab experience.

Amazing experience on our tour with Andrew and Sam. We were fortunate to see lots of whales, which was not expected given how late in the season it was. At one point we had a female and her baby on the left of our boat and a large male on the left. There was also some dolphins. Near the end of the 2 hour tour, Andrew (the driver) got a mayday from another boat with the tour company. They were in whale jail with a curious young (maybe a year old) whale that would keep coming up towards them, making them late in getting back to the dock. We headed over to the area, and the juvie became interested in our boat so the other one could motor up and get back. They were in whale ended up jumping up and out of the water 3 times which was such an awesome show. After this, it became interested in another boat so we headed back (only 10 minutes late).

I was afraid that we would not see any whales since we did this after the official migration season had ended. Fortunately we saw quite a few. They were probably 20 of us on a zodiac boat but everybody was able to see very well. We saw another whale watching boat and they were packed against the railing. I'm glad we did this excursion with this company.

This was the most awesome experience of our trip! We were fortunate to have a young whale perform for us (and other boats) for at least an hour!! This is the closest that I’m sure I will ever have in my life with such a magnificent creature!
