- Starting Monday, March 2, there will be intermittent traffic maintenance on Hana Highway (Route 360) in Maui. These holds are expected to affect both directions and may last approximately 15 to 20 minutes.
- Waimea Canyon Drive (Route 550) will be fully closed Mar 2–6, 8:00am–3:30 pm for paving. Visit before 8 am or after 3:30 pm. From Mar 9–31, expect single-lane closures from 8:30am–3:30pm for striping, which may cause delays. Plan for extra travel time and follow on-site traffic signs if heading to Waimea Canyon / Kōkeʻe during these hours.
- Recent Kona storms caused flooding, debris, and temporary road closures in Hawaiʻi. Conditions are improving, but parts of Maui County and Hawaiʻi Island may still have delays, cleanup, or closures.

Tour was quite boring but did a good job at explaining each area that we drove through. There were not enough recommendations for places to stop, and no indication of how far the next turn point was, and some of these turns came up very quickly, sometimes causing us to miss them.

We were disappointed with this app. The starting point for Maui is in the middle of a random residential area in Kahului, not relavent to anything on the tours. The map didn't pop-up consistently and the queues to turn were difficult to follow. It does share some interesting historical data along the way....if you can follow it.

I appreciate the feedback, CHERYL. To clarify, all the tours in the bundle start near the airport – that's by design for ease of access right when you land. Using the "Take me to the Starting Point" feature should guide you there seamlessly. For the best experience, following the given route lets the stories play automatically. Are you going off-route? The manual play's an option, though it's trickier while driving. Remember, your purchase doesn't expire. Want to enjoy the tales from your couch or explore another location? We purchased the app on The Big Island. We started the tour near the airport upon arriving but the tour took us in the opposite direction of our hotel. The info provided on the tour is very interesting (which is why we gave it the three star rating.) So, after about an hour, we turned around to head toward our hotel but the app did not provide us with the tour information since we weren’t going in the direction indicated. Unfortunately, the tours have specific starting points which are inflexible. When you turn on the app, it will ask if you want directions to the starting point, which is great…unless the starting point is an hour and twenty minutes away. We were unable to turn on the app, wherever we were, and start the tour from that point. We’re planning to try again when we’re on Maui, hoping the starting points are near our hotel.

Perfect. And so much cheaper than a guided tour. We only made it to 1/2 way before turning around. Motion sickness took us down.

I’ve been on many tours all over the world and this has to be the most memorable because of the service. The bus was clean, had rest room and outlets for charging phones. Mr Patrick the tour guide was exceptional. So friendly and always willing to assist.
