Itinerary
After selecting a convenient starting location, begin packing in the sights with your ticket to Lisbon’s hop-on hop-off bus ride, valid for 48-hours. Then, enjoy the first of two different tour loops aboard a double-decker bus or Lisbon’s vintage tram. Easily get around with additional free rides on Lisbon’s funiculars and select public buses. There are no people to talk to when the bus doesn’t show. We waited for more than an hour and no bus because it was a holiday in Lisbon. We booked with another tour and saw some yellow buses in another area so they were doing some stops. I tried emailing and no response. Only book with them if you are able to be very flexible.

Purchasing the two consecutive day pass eased the rush to sit on a bus for about four hours (two 2-hour routes). Two issues came up during our recent usage: 1. The audio narration on the Modern Lisbon route was inconsistent, being off for several minutes which resulted in many long periods of time looking at buildings with no knowledge of the story. 2. Day 2 was effected by a driver strike which reduced the desired times. Thankfully the strike was settled and service returned in late afternoon. The downside was two hours availability instead of nine hours. There was no offer for refund or credit due to the drivers strike.

The English narration was awful, hardly any facts and mostly music. Two lines, buses came always late and missed stops. Overall can’t advise. Stick with the Big Red Bus, least you know what you’re getting with an international company!

We came off a cruise ship. We couldn’t find the bus stop and nobody that we asked knew where it would be. I tried contacting customer support, but could not reach them. Sent a message and did not hear back from them. Had to purchase another ticket with another company to do our sightseeing.

I arrive on the afternoon of the 28th of March and it was raining and they close the buses. Since my ticket was for 48 hours next day I went to use it and the code on the app was gone and without it they couldn’t helped me. I asked for a refund since I couldn’t use it hopefully they will refund me. I trust Viator because I have been using them for years with no complaints.

Well, we knew in advance it wasn’t going to be great. We tried the historical tour today, lived up 30 minutes before scheduled to leave at stop 1. Many people waiting in line where other yellow bus took off. About 15 minutes late so not too bad but bus pulled up down the street and everybody started running. 6 of us elderly and no room for us so have to wait another hour. We decided to have early lunch then bus it. Went back, still 15 minutes late but we got on and on top. 1 box broken to listen to tour so we shared 1. Tons of construction and stuck in hot sun for long time. Nothing too interesting and hoping castle tour tomorrow is better. We always do these tours in every city and this ranks near the bottom. Lisbon city tour was bad as well. All busses do about same route and others seemed less crowded. Enjoy!

The Yellow bus both Blue and Purple line was a little uncomfortable because of poor air circulation, no aircon . Also when we were on the purple line going to Modern Lisbon- the audio was defective. However, this is a good way to tour around city especially when you have small kids.

We were so,d our tickets prior to our trip and when we got to the stop we were informed that because it was a National holiday, buses were for the most part not running. I am sure that the bus company and Viator knew well in advance that this was a holiday, but the sold us worthless tickets anyhow. Because of this snafu we did not get to see Lisbon as we were leaving the next day.

Missed out seeing Lisbon

We bought tickets for May 2nd and we’re told the bus would be T our point at 10:00 am. We were not made aware that this was a National holiday nor informed that buses would be on a different schedule. We were at the spot at 10:00 am and the bus did not arrive. We, along with a number of people waited, but at 12:15 pm we finally left. On the way back to our hotel at 2:15 (14:15) we saw the bus pass by our point , but were to overheated by then to go back and wait another half hour, at a minimum.

Starting at Praca do Figueira for both routes, you are able to see lots of Lisbon. As long as you get a good connection, the commentary is good. Just be aware that the schedule can be affected by traffic.

Worst experience ever, I had to find where to validate my tickets in Lisbon. After a 24 hrs delay of the confirmation email, was never issued a refund. The viator operator was very unprofessional, my family spent almost $600 in tickets for various trips on viator.
Do not waste your money, there are many bus rides, this company is not helpful and it is a complete cluster finding what bus your pass is valid on.
